Chapter 358 Ancient Ruins

Mo Shuwan squinted and examined it carefully. "Could this be a map?"

Those who were still able to stand gathered around and looked at it from all angles, and it seemed to really be a map.

“It is indeed a map. Look here.” Mo Shuwan pointed to the nearest white dot. “This should be a village. If nothing unexpected happens, we will pass through here.”

Besides the place Mo Shuwan pointed to, there were several white dots extending outwards, followed by complete darkness. It seems that what those extraterrestrial invaders said about this being the outermost edge of the Burial Ground was true.

Obtaining a map is definitely a good thing, but this map is just too big. And they are still on the outermost edge. Even the Demon Realm that those invaders from outside the region mentioned is located on the very outer edge of this map. Is there really a way to leave the Burial Ground in such a place?

"No matter what, let's go take a look first."

The ship didn't seem to require manual operation, because as soon as Mo Shuwan put the crystal in and the map appeared, the ship started moving on its own, and a small red dot was flashing on the map, which was probably the ship's destination.

"Are we heading in the right direction?"

Chen Jiaxu closed his eyes and imagined the Demon Realm. He felt that it was in the same direction as the ship was traveling, so he nodded. "That's right."

With the boat, they would be much faster, and they didn't know what kind of fierce battle awaited them upon arrival. Everyone was trying to rest as much as possible, but even so, it wouldn't make any difference.

We must find a way to solve our current problems.

They've tried everything over the past month, but nothing has worked.

When asked, Chen Jiaxu didn't know much either. He died on the outermost edge of the burial ground and knew very little about its secrets. The only thing he knew was that there were many rare and precious herbs there, and that consuming them directly wouldn't cause any major problems. This conclusion was mainly based on Mo Shuwan's personal experience. Although the herbs were contaminated by dark forces, they could still be used directly. The spiritual energy and medicinal power contained in the herbs were enough to offset the damage caused by the contamination of dark forces.

The ship they were on now was not large, a mere dwarf compared to the ship they had seen the first time, but it was not slow at all. In just three days, they were already very close to the Demon Realm.

After glancing at the map one last time, Mo Shuwan reached into the box and took out the now dull and lifeless crystal. They could no longer advance openly from here.

"Cough cough cough..."

"Hiss... Damn it!" This was the low curse of someone who had been lying on the ground for a long time, only to have a layer of skin torn off their back when they sat up.

Mo Shuwan stood up, leaned on the railing, and looked around. Perhaps it was because she had gotten used to it, but even though there was dark power everywhere, she could still see things in the distance. For example, she saw a ship that looked similar to the one she was on slowly approaching.

"Activate the formation."

Zheng Shanhe opened his eyes, activated the array he had prepared long ago, and frowned as he looked in the direction from which the commotion was coming.

The ship looked slow, but it arrived very quickly. The moment Zheng Shanhe activated the great formation, the ship had already docked beside him. Except for Chen Jiaxu, everyone else was enveloped in the formation.

'Da da da'

A series of footsteps approached, and several foreign invaders emerged one after another from the opposite ship. Among them, the young man with the longest horn on his forehead walked to the railing, squinted and glanced in this direction. Under the wary gazes of the crowd, he turned his head to look at Chen Jiaxu standing at the bow of the ship, and suddenly laughed.

"Ha, since when can these wild pheasants participate in this kind of celebration?"

Chen Jiaxu looked at the young man, his expression unchanged. In fact, he dared not make any change. From the moment the young man appeared, he had been trying his best to control his expression so as not to reveal any flaws.

The girl beside the young man frowned and whispered, "Young Master, their presence proves they received an invitation. Please keep quiet."

"Tch, he's just a weakling with no real strength."

Having said that, he seemed to have lost interest in Chen Jiaxu and turned back to the cabin. The girl who had been trying to persuade him gave Chen Jiaxu an apologetic smile and immediately turned and left. Soon the two ships were separated again.

Chen Jiaxu let out a long breath, feeling his legs go weak.

"Wait a little longer."

After remaining in place for more than ten minutes, and with no other ships appearing around, the great formation that had enveloped them slowly disappeared. But at that moment, Mo Shuwan, Wen Zuo, and Yun Chen, who was lying on the railing, all suddenly changed their expressions.

Mo Shuwan suddenly stood up, drew the bowstring into the darkness, and shouted, "Quick! Put the crystal into the box!"

In just a few seconds, no one knew what had happened. Seeing how anxious Mo Shuwan and the others were, they didn't dare to be careless. Chen Jiaxu, who was about to rest for a while, rushed to the box and stuffed more than ten crystals into it.

The ship, which had been stationary, immediately sprang into action, flying toward its pre-determined destination. At the same moment, Mo Shuwan loosened her grip, her life force fading as she collapsed weakly to the ground. Watching the ship in the darkness dodge the arrows at a tricky angle, her heart sank.

It's that ship from before... They've been discovered!

"Captain! What do we do? This ship is heading to the Demon Realm!"

Using the strength of Wen Zuo's arm to stand up, Mo Shuwan chewed on some medicinal herbs and said breathlessly, "Let's find a way to change the course."

Under these circumstances, there's no way they could go to the Demon Realm!

The others who had collapsed on the ground got up and gathered around the box, trying to figure out what to do. No one knows how they managed to change the ship's course, but the ship behind them was still following them at a distance.
