"The main mission is to survive for 15 days. The fact that no specific area is given can only mean that this world, like the zombie world, is full of dangers everywhere."
This is not good news.
Once you arrive in the mission world, you cannot stay within the bus's coverage area for more than ten minutes, or you will be wiped out by the bus.
Time passed slowly. Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo discussed their temporary route and were about to leave when several figures suddenly appeared at one of the corners in their line of sight. The passengers also saw this scene and were all shocked and held their breath in tension.
Suddenly, the other party started running quickly towards their direction, but upon closer inspection, they realized that their focus wasn't on their group at all. The two sides were getting closer and closer...
"Hurry up, don't keep the adults waiting! Otherwise we'll be in big trouble."
"What's the use of urging us? None of the 'Tiger's' men have arrived yet."
The group of people whispered amongst themselves as they ran around the area where the passengers were. Just as they were about to disappear from sight and the passengers were about to breathe a sigh of relief, the group suddenly turned around. Mo Shuwan's gaze met that of one of them, and she heard him shout, "What's wrong with you guys? Why are you taking so long? Hurry up and catch up! If you delay things, you're all dead!"
The other party has mistaken you for someone else.
All the passengers stared expectantly at Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo.
"Let's follow them first. The demon-sensing talisman isn't working; they're human." He paused, then said in a low voice, "We know nothing about this world yet, so following them won't make things much worse than they are now."
Wen Zuo and Mo Shuwan shared the same thought and immediately nodded.
Standing beside them, Zhan Fei couldn't help but exclaim under his breath, "Are you guys crazy? What if they have malicious intentions? Aren't we just going up there to our deaths!"
“You don’t have to follow.” After saying that, Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo walked towards the group of people. The trembling passengers behind them followed the two of them almost without hesitation.
Zhan Fei stood there for a while before slinking off. Although he really wanted to be the boss, he had to admit that following Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo gave him a better chance of surviving than if he were alone.
Seeing that Mo Shuwan and the others had followed, the group of people were no longer as tense as before. "I'm warning you again, once you're inside, you're not allowed to look around or make any unnecessary noise. If any adults take a liking to you—well, no adults will take a liking to you. In short, behave yourselves, or don't blame me for being ruthless."
A group of people walked quickly along the quiet street. After walking for an unknown amount of time, the surrounding lights seemed to dim further. They stopped in front of a building, and the man in black spoke up again, warning, "You all better behave yourselves. Don't even think about things you shouldn't be thinking about."
Needless to say, Mo Shuwan, Wen Zuo, and Zhan Fei were also present. The passengers harbored deep fears, wishing they could become invisible, and certainly wouldn't have any inappropriate thoughts.
As time passed, more and more people appeared around them. These people, like them, were each led by several men dressed in black, and they stood guard outside the building in clear distinctions.
Mo Shuwan reached into her pocket and squeezed the demon-sensing talisman. There was no burning sensation. The people around her were all human, but the scene looked eerie no matter how you looked at it.
Mo Shuwan took a deep breath and looked up at the building in front of her. Unlike other places, this building was pitch black inside, without a single ray of light. She wondered what these people were waiting for here.
"Mom, I'm scared."
"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, Hao Hao is the bravest." Even though she was terrified, when she heard her son's small, trembling voice, the woman immediately squatted down, hugged her son, and whispered comforting words. She would also look up at Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo from time to time, afraid that they would run away.
Once the entire building was surrounded by arriving humans, a light suddenly appeared in the pitch-black building. The single light rose and fell with the sound of footsteps, and many of the passengers behind them were so frightened that they burst into tears. If they hadn't remembered the warning not to make any unnecessary noise, they probably would have screamed by now.
squeak--
The building doors opened, and a person shrouded in a black robe emerged carrying an oil lamp; judging from his figure, he was probably a man.
Mo Shuwan didn't have time to think about why the glass door made the sound of a wooden door opening. The moment the man in black robes approached, the demonic sensing talisman in her pocket, which had been silent all along, began to heat up, and the heat was almost burning Mo Shuwan's hand. She had no choice but to pull her hand out.
The next moment, their view was blocked by Wen Zuo, who suddenly stood in front of them. Wen Zuo also stared intently at the man in black robes, his eyes full of vigilance.
Suddenly, a restrained sobbing sound came from behind. Mo Shuwan turned around and saw a woman squatting on the ground holding her child, covering her and her son's mouths tightly with tears. Having exchanged for the demon-sensing talisman, they already knew that the man in black robes was not human.
Mo Shuwan opened her mouth, then quickly closed it again, saying nothing. She herself knew nothing about the world before her and had no ability to protect others.
He sighed silently.
When the man in black robes approached, the man in black robes who had previously spoken with Mo Shuwan immediately offered her a round wooden plaque in a fawning manner. The man in black robes glanced at it and left. He checked the other teams one by one to make sure they all had wooden plaques before walking back towards the building. His voice was hoarse, as if his throat had been burned, as he said, "Follow me."
Mo Shuwan clearly saw the excitement flash across the face of the man in black beside her. She pursed her lips and, as she followed the man in black slowly into the building, she quietly reached into her backpack, took out a bottle of exorcism potion, and put it into her pocket.
Even though there were many people outside the building, they moved around without making much noise. The hundreds of people seemed to have received professional training, quietly flowing into the building from the entrance.
As they drew closer to the building, Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo silently placed their hands on their weapons, ready to respond to any unexpected situations. Nothing happened as they walked to the building's entrance, but when one of them stepped inside, both Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo paused simultaneously.
Zhan Fei, who followed them in, muttered a strange cry, "They've just issued a side quest?"
Yes, the moment they entered the building, they felt a burning sensation on the back of their hands. This side quest had been issued to them without needing to be triggered.
Side Quest: Hunting Vampires
Although Zhan Fei was loud and boisterous, he kept his voice very low just now. Only one or two passengers following them heard it. The passengers' faces tightened, and they quickly looked at the back of their hands. But there was only a main quest on it. Where did this side quest come from?
