Chapter 73 triggered two side quests in a row.

Wen Zuo turned to look at Mo Shuwan. The woman before him seemed to overlap with her in a certain winter, both so dazzling. He suddenly smiled with relief and silently uttered a single word.

good.

So the two separated again. Wen Zuo went to find a good hiding spot, while Mo Shuwan ran straight towards the building. Several passengers who were rushing after the two were stunned, not knowing who they were following. Finally, when they saw that Mo Shuwan had approached the building's entrance, they immediately ran towards Wen Zuo's hiding place.

This time, there was no vampire leading the way. The gate that appeared in Mo Shuwan's eyes was shrouded in mist. She dared not go forward rashly. She took out some exorcism water, rubbed some on her clothes, took a deep breath, and walked directly into the mist. She found the gate and knocked on it with the hilt of her sword.

It was just a small sword hilt, but the moment it touched the door, it produced a very loud and muffled knocking sound.

Inside the building, a group of people who were immersed in a hallucination were suddenly awakened. Someone was startled when they met a pair of eyes as still as water and screamed repeatedly.

Feeling deeply offended by the humans, the vampire narrowed his eyes and sucked the humans who dared to struggle into dried corpses. Soon, the lobby on the first floor became silent again.

The knocking continued. The vampire closest to the door silently approached, raising his hand to push it open. But before his hand could touch the door, it was blocked by an invisible barrier. Anger flashed in his exceptionally prominent white eyes. "Damn it, it's not time yet, and I still can't get out. Who's knocking on the door?!"

"Where is Lord Numo?! We can't let this noise continue! If we wake the King, he will surely kill us all!"

"Lord Numo is injured."

Many vampires stopped eating as the knocking echoed. All the humans present snapped out of their hallucinations and sensed the heavy atmosphere. They all shut their mouths, not daring to make a sound.

"Lord Numo has arrived!"

A vampire shouted.

At the corner of the second-floor staircase, the man in black robes walked slowly down to the lobby on the first floor. His movements were slow, and he exuded a decaying aura, which shocked the group of vampires around him.

Lord Numo is so badly injured!

The people on the first floor were all low-level vampires, most of whom were once human. In their eyes, Lord Numo was the epitome of power, and now he was so badly injured. Just how powerful was the person who injured him?!

When a few vampires looked at the gate again, fear had appeared in their eyes.

Numo moved step by step to the front door, raised his withered hand and placed it on the door, then slowly pushed it open.

When she sensed the power emanating from the gate, Mo Shuwan took five or six steps back, quickly took out the exorcising water and poured it into the hole in the sword hilt. The moment the mist began to sway, she suddenly swung the sword forward.

Numo dodged and rushed towards Mo Shuwan from above. Unfortunately, before the thunderous strike could land, he was hit by seven or eight bullets fired from a distance. The bullets, coated with exorcism water, caused Numo to fall from the sky instantly.

A sharp scream came from Numo's mouth; his body, corroded by the exorcism water, made it impossible for him to stand up again.

Mo Shuwan wouldn't give him a chance to stand up. She immediately rushed forward and delivered a finishing blow. The dozen or so vampire hunters who were hiding in the distance, ready to rush in and help at any moment, saw the powerful vampire instantly turn to ashes.

Shock is an understatement to describe their current feelings.

Mo Shuwan was also stunned.

Looking at the pile of clothes on the ground, she gritted her teeth. She never imagined that the vampire would disappear so easily, even though she hadn't used much exorcism potion.

But the thought only lingered in Mo Shuwan's mind before she understood. It seemed that the bottle of exorcism water she had thrown out earlier had splashed quite a bit onto the vampire; otherwise, he would at least have left behind a corpse this time.

The moment she killed Numo, she felt a burning sensation on the back of her hand, but she was so upset that she ignored it. Only when Wen Zuo got closer did she remember to check, and she was stunned when she saw it.

Side Quest: Hunting Vampires 1 (1)

Side Quest: Vampire Fangs (2)

Upon seeing the second side quest, Mo Shuwan immediately bent down to rummage through the pile of clothes and found two fangs. It seems that even if a vampire disappears, his fangs will remain.

Seeing Mo Shuwan squatting on the ground holding up a vampire's fangs, Wen Zuo smiled and went forward to pull her up. He turned his head to look at the building with its doors half open. The entrance was still shrouded in mist, but the eerie atmosphere was burning hot, reminding him that there were many, many vampires inside.

"I just triggered two side quests. One of them is 'Vampire Hunting 1,' which is only one '1' away from the previous side quest. If there are no special circumstances, the first side quest 'Vampire Hunting' should refer to low-level vampires. The vampire I just killed triggered the exact same side quest, so this '1' should refer to mid-level vampires."

Mo Shuwan explained the mission she had triggered and her guesses to Wen Zuo in a very fast voice.

Wen Zuo nodded in agreement.

Several passengers had already caught up, while vampire hunters were rushing over from the other side.

Mo Shuwan looked at Wen Zuo, smiled, took out a pair of earplugs from her pocket and put them on, "Let's hurry up and earn points, this is our chance."

Wen Zuo silently said "okay," and he also took out a pair of earplugs and put them on, but found that he could still hear what he was supposed to hear, so it seemed that there was no difference between wearing them and not wearing them.

When the vampire hunters arrived, they barely managed to suppress their excitement. After witnessing the battle between the two and the intermediate vampire, they were somewhat hesitant to speak to Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo. So, they restrained themselves and turned their attention to the passengers. "You must be the companions of the two adults. Hello, it's a pleasure to work with you."

"Wha...what kind of cooperation?"

Zuo Luo explained in a good-natured manner, "We are also vampire hunters, although..."

"What! You're vampire hunters!" Before Zuo Luo could finish speaking, he was interrupted by excited passengers. The passengers who had been timid just moments before immediately pounced on him, each one clinging to Zuo Luo and the others like an octopus, tears streaming down their faces. "We've finally found you! Take us away! Take us away from here!"

The vampire hunters: "..." Are these people fake? How could they possibly be companions of the two adults!

Mo Shuwan acted as if she hadn't seen anything and calmly said, "The door is already open, and those vampires are in the hall. They can't get near the door."

"Yes, sir, we'll rush in right away." Zuo Luo paused, then said apologetically, "If we encounter a mid-level vampire, I hope you two will be able to help."

As he spoke, Zuo Luo pried open the passenger clinging to him, his face covered in cold sweat, and moved away from him. He drew his sword and slowly approached the gate.
