Chapter 5 Who to Choose

The second brother's lips curled up slightly, and he replied softly, "Third brother, you're worrying too much. Mother asked us to come and see her. Is she asking us three brothers to discuss which one we should marry?"

"What's there to discuss or look at? It's just that mother listened to the fortune teller and found a woman who will bring good luck to her husband and family. It doesn't matter whether she's pretty or not. After we get married, I'll find a chance to take in two beautiful concubines!" The third brother said, curling his lips with disdain on his face.

As soon as he finished speaking, the eldest brother next to him frowned, glared at him, and lectured him, "Grandfather once said that if you want a prosperous family, you must have harmony between husband and wife! Put away those messy thoughts of yours!"

The third brother was naturally dissatisfied, but he didn't dare to argue with him on this matter, so he teased him, "Big brother, you are right, but big brother, you always have a sullen face, as long as a horse's face. The brothers knew each other's tempers very well. The eldest brother snorted coldly, turned a deaf ear to his words and ignored him directly.

As a result, the third brother just acted out his own laughter, looking particularly silly.

His laughter stopped abruptly!

“It’s boring!”

He pounded his fist on the table, stood up and prepared to leave.

Just then, the door of the room was pushed open.

The servant guarding the door came in and reported, "Sir, the lady across the street has left!"

Hearing this, the other two also stood up, and the three of them stood on the windowsill waiting. The window just happened to give them a good view of the restaurant entrance.

After a while, Liu Wanyun and others came out of the building and got into their own sedan chairs.

A gust of wind blew by, lifting a corner of Guan Xiaoyu's hat. The second brother happened to see it, and he pointed at Guan Xiaoyu and said, "I choose her!"

Seeing her sedan chair heading south, the third brother said, "In that case, I'll choose the one on the north side, and the one on the east side will be my eldest brother's!"
