Xie Jinyao led the group to the east courtyard in a grand procession.
She saw the mark the servant had given her from afar and understood what it meant. She pretended to look for a few empty rooms before finally arriving at the room where Ye Zhen was being held.
The lock on the door had been removed beforehand, and some faint sounds could be heard coming from inside, but they were not clear.
