As the three prepared to leave the farmhouse, Lu Jingang walked towards the car they had arrived in. It was a family car with a spacious trunk providing ample room for their belongings. Before leaving, they had carefully selected and packed the picked fruits and other produce to take home.
Gu Yunxi and Qian Ziyi helped move baskets of fruit to the car. Gu Yunxi, holding a basket of freshly picked apples, smiled and said, "We picked these ourselves. We're taking them home for our families to try." Her movements were light and practiced as she handed the basket to Lu Jingang.

The three got into the car, Lu Jingang started the engine, and slowly drove away from the farmhouse. When Lu Jingang arrived at Gu Yunxi's house, he and Qian Ziyi got out of the car to help Gu Yunxi carry the fruits and vegetables they had brought back from the farmhouse into the house. Han Yulan and Gu Weiguo heard the commotion outside and went to the door to greet them.
Han Yulan looked at the baskets and boxes in their hands, a kind smile spreading across her face. "You're back! You brought so many good things. Come in and have a meal with us." Her voice was full of warmth and hospitality.
Gu Weiguo smiled and nodded, "Yes, don't rush off, stay and have a simple meal together." His tone revealed his fondness for the young man and his appreciation for Lu Jingang.
Lu Jingang felt the warmth of the Gu family, but considering he might have already caused them trouble, he didn't want to bother them any further.
