Chapter 106 Plague breaks out in the military camp (2/2)

"Reporting to the Commander, there are only two older doctors in the entire Jianzhou who are willing to come. The others all said they are busy and cannot leave."

Suddenly, a familiar voice came into Xiao Ling'er's ears. She looked forward and saw a familiar figure - Shi Lin.

"Second Young Master, please stand away from this girl. These are all patients infected with the plague."

A group of soldiers, two by two, carried the patients to the isolation area. The commander walking in front saw Gu Yunting and Xiao Ling'er, looked displeased, and said something in a bad tone.

Xiao Ling'er and Gu Yunting tactfully moved aside. When Xiao Ling'er's eyes accidentally saw the appearance of the third patient, her heart beat violently.

"Wait a moment!"

As soon as Xiao Ling'er's voice came out, several soldiers subconsciously stopped.

"Miss, what's the matter?" Commander Jun frowned and asked Xiao Ling'er with an impatient tone.

Xiao Ling'er did not answer, but walked closer to the third patient.

"Miss, please leave!" The commander's tone was already angry, and he stepped forward to stop Xiao Ling'er from approaching.

Gu Yunting was about to step forward with a grim expression, when suddenly, the commanding army and everyone else stopped in their tracks as if they had pressed the pause button.

Xiao Ling'er looked at the face that was 80% similar to Xiao Yuhao, and quickly matched it with the face that had appeared in her mind for a long time.

It’s him. If nothing unexpected happens, this is the original owner’s father, Xiao Changhe.

After taking a few steps back, the soldiers continued to move. Xiao Ling'er looked at the man who looked like Xiao Yuhao with a complicated expression as he was carried into the isolation area.

Xiao Ling'er's face turned pale. She had just used the mind control technique excessively, and her body felt a little unreal.

Gu Yunting didn't ask anything, but walked forward and stood gently behind her so that he could catch her if she became exhausted.

"Let's go find Master Gu!" Xiao Ling'er didn't explain, just said one word.

Gu Yunting didn't ask any further questions and answered with trust: "Okay!"

In another barracks, five or six people, including Prince Gu, were discussing something intensely.

The arrival of Xiao Ling'er and Gu Yunting interrupted their discussion, and everyone looked towards the door.

Afterwards, everyone frowned in unison. One of the sixty-year-old men looked at Gu Yunting with an unpleasant expression and accused him, "Second Young Master, this is not the place for you."

"Yes, Second Young Master, you are weak and not suitable for coming to the military camp."

"That's right, Second Young Master, you're really outrageous. Not only did you come to the military camp by yourself, but you also brought a girl with you. How can this be allowed?"

After the old man took the lead in accusing, the others began to criticize in disagreement.

Xiao Ling'er saw clearly that they had no respect for Gu Yunting at all, and some of them only looked at him with disgust.

In addition to Gu Yunxiao, there was another middle-aged man who never spoke and looked somewhat similar to the Gu Yunting brothers.

He looked at Gu Yunting, took a step forward, and finally spoke: "Ting'er, are you...coming to the military camp for something important?" Compared to others, his tone was much gentler.

"Dad, can you please ask the rest of you to leave? I have something important to report." Gu Yunting said in a flat tone without even looking at the others.

To the others, it sounded like Gu Yunting was provoking them. The sixty-year-old man was the first to object, "General, we should prioritize. Can the Second Young Master's important matter wait until later?"

The old man was talking to General Gu, but his eyes were looking at Gu Yunting with dissatisfaction, and he just wanted to tell him, "Get out!"

"No!" Gu Yunting answered very straightforwardly. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
