"It's okay, I can just sit in the hall." The second young lady spoke in a soft and gentle voice, which was very pleasant to the ear.
She responded to the waiter in a considerate manner while scanning the entire hall.
His eyes accidentally swept over the table where Xiao Ling'er and Ren Yanran were sitting. Seeing the appearance of Xiao Ling'er and Ren Yanran, he was slightly stunned, then turned his head as if nothing had happened.
"It seems there is no room left in the hall. I'll come back tomorrow." The second lady said with regret.

The man sitting at the table to the right of Xiao Ling'er and the others stood up excitedly and looked at the second young lady and invited her.

"No, we are not used to dining at the same table with strangers." Xiao Ling'er refused in the face of everyone's envious eyes.
Everyone was stunned, and the second young lady's gentle expression changed. She flushed and looked hurt.

"Don't be ungrateful. It's your honor that my young lady is willing to dine with you." Another maid also walked forward angrily and said to Xiao Ling'er and Ren Yanran.

Wei Yan, who had been rejected by the second lady before, also stood up and spoke.

"Ling'er, why are there so many dogs in the capital?" Ren Yanran suddenly looked at Xiao Ling'er and asked.
"Sister Yanran, you're mistaken. They are human beings, but they prefer to be dogs. Not only do they want to be dogs themselves, they also want us to be dogs."
The two people were talking in quite loud voices, and at first they didn't understand what Ren Yanran said.
Now Xiao Ling'er's words made them realize that she was calling them dogs.
"Who are you calling a dog?" Wei Yan asked angrily, glaring at Xiao Ling'er.
