When He Yunfan and the others couldn't see Gu Yunting anymore, they looked at Gu Yunxiao impatiently and asked, "Brother Yunxiao, tell me quickly, who is Miss Xiao?"
Gu Yunxiao glanced at He Yunfan suspiciously, "Miss Xiao once saved Xuanxuan's life. Mother loves her very much and keeps talking about her."
"Really? To be able to win Aunt Gu's favor, she must be a wonderful person. I really look forward to seeing her. Brother Yunxiao, have you ever seen her?" He Yunfan asked jokingly.
Gu Yunxiao frowned and did not directly answer He Yunfan's question. Instead, he called out to the maid Biyun who happened to be passing by: "Where are the Madam and the Young Miss?"
Biyun bowed her head and replied respectfully, "Prince, the Madam and the Young Lady went to Misty Village."
"Misty Village? Okay, let's retreat!" Gu Yunxiao said as he stood up and walked out, and the figure of the secret guard hidden in the dark flashed.
"Brother Yunxiao, where are you going?" He Yunfan reacted and immediately followed.
"Master, arrangements have been made. The bodies of Ma Laosi and others will be removed from the prison soon." Gu Bei lowered his head and reported to Gu Yunting who was standing by the window.
"Well! Go check what Ma Laosi and others did in their lifetime?" Gu Yunting ordered in a cold voice.
To make Ling'er so angry that she wanted to torture them to death and castrate them, they must have done something unforgivable.
"Yes!" Gu Bei answered and left in a hurry.
"Master, the Crown Prince and Master He have gone to the Misty Village." Gu Xi stepped forward to report.
Gu Yunting turned around quickly, "What are they doing in Misty Village?"
"Madam took the young lady to Misty Village first, and the prince followed after hearing about it."
Gu Xi had just finished his report when Gu Yunting disappeared from the room with a whoosh.
Gu Xi looked at the open window helplessly, and jumped out as well.
In Misty Village, Xiao Ling'er was overwhelmed by the sight of the villagers lining up to give gifts to her house.
She had to deal with each person politely, which she was not very good at, and she didn't know what Ren Yanran said to them.
When these villagers saw her now, they were extremely polite and respectful, which made Xiao Ling'er feel awkward and uncomfortable.
She had been busy all night and really wanted to go back to her room to sleep, but she was disturbed in the morning. Not only could she not sleep, but what made Xiao Ling'er even more worried was that Mrs. Gu came to her house with gifts.
Xiao Ling'er prayed secretly, hoping that Ren Yanran would not bring Hanhan over this time. However, what she feared came true.
She had just invited Mrs. Gu, her daughter, and the servants into the house when Ren Yanran came over holding Hanhan.
When Mrs. Gu saw Hanhan, her eyes were fixed on his little face and she couldn't move her eyes away.
Ren Yanran frowned, buried her face in her chest, looked at Madam Gu warily, and asked, "Madam, may I ask why you keep staring at my son?"
Gu Furen was caught off guard by Ren Yanran's bluntness. A hint of guilt flashed across his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and began to explain:
"Miss, don't be angry. I just saw that the boy in your arms was so cute and lovely that I couldn't help but look at him a few more times.
To be honest, he looks a bit like my eldest son, so that's why he's like this."
Ren Yanran's heart beat fast when she heard this. She had already guessed that this lady was the one Ling'er mentioned last time who asked her about Hanhan.
Does her eldest son mean that the man also knows about Hanhan's existence?
Ren Yanran felt a little guilty towards that man. She had done something dishonest in the beginning, but if anyone wanted to snatch her Hanhan away, that was impossible. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
