The tribesman shook his head and said, "No, even if there was something, they wouldn't tell me. Go over and take a look. The witch doctor is waiting for you."
"No, the rain is too heavy. I've got your message. I'm leaving now!"
Lei Te nodded, "You go first."
The tribe left in a hurry.
The two sisters who heard the conversation in the cave exchanged unpleasant looks.
Shu Yuechou said, "Sister, I guess the witch doctor must be asking you about your medical skills and the tablet. Medical skills are easy to explain, but the tablet is not!"
Shu Xin frowned and said, "Just go over and take a look and you'll know."
Lei Te came in with a bad look on his face, "Xin'er, the tablet incident may not be hidden anymore."
Shu Xin shook her head. "It will be impossible to hide it sooner or later. But Lei Te, I won't give the tablet to anyone. Can you keep it for me?"
Lei Te looked at her and promised solemnly: "Yes, no one can touch your things, not even my father or the witch doctor!"
Hearing this, Shu Xin smiled and said, "That's good."
Lei Te said: "I will go with you."
"Okay, let's go."
Wearing a raincoat made of animal skin and a rain hat supported by a thin wooden stick on his head, Rhett took her flying low in the rain.
A minute later, they arrived at the witch doctor's cave. Rhett was soaked all over, while Shuxin was dry except for her raincoat.
Yi Yi saw her strange attire, her eyes sparkled with surprise, but she didn't ask any more questions. Instead, the witch doctor asked a few more questions, "Shu Xin, what are you wearing?"
"This is a raincoat." Shu Xin didn't explain much.
The witch doctor nodded, showing little interest in the raincoat. "Shuxin, you haven't been in the tribe long and you don't often go out. If Chunhua hadn't given birth, I wouldn't have known you knew medicine."
"I haven't asked you where you are from and which witch doctor taught you medical skills?"
Shu Xin replied, "I'm actually from the Wuda tribe, but I got separated from my parents when I was little and was adopted by a pair of nomadic beasts. My adoptive mother taught me medicine. Later, my adoptive father was seriously injured and left me near the Warrior Tribe when he was dying. That's when Lei Te picked me up."
This was what the four of them had agreed upon yesterday, and from now on, whoever asked her about her life story would be told this.
The witch doctor was slightly stunned. He didn't expect her experience to be so tortuous.
"Where are your parents, who raised you?"
Shu Xin shook her head, "I don't know. I'm just a female and I've never been out looking for one."
This is understandable.
Then, getting down to business, the witch doctor asked, "What was that bright light you emitted in your tent that night?"
Shu Xin said, "That's something my adoptive mother left me. It can be used for lighting at night, and it can only be used for lighting."
The witch doctor saw that they were empty-handed and knew that they hadn't brought anything. "Can you bring it here so I can see it?"
Shu Xin hesitated, "Okay, Lei Te, go get it. Remember to wrap it well."
Rhett looked at her inquiringly, as if asking her if it was okay for her to stay alone.
She nodded slightly to indicate that she was fine.
Rhett turned back to get the tablet, and now there were only three of them in the witch doctor's cave.
The witch doctor sat on the stone bed, and Yi Yi and she were both standing.
The damp raincoat concealed the smell of blood on her body. The females' noses were not as sharp as the orcs', otherwise the witch doctor would definitely ask her why she had been bleeding for several days.
After Rhett left, the cave fell into silence and the scene was a little awkward.
Shu Xin stared at the wall as if she was unaware of the two people staring at her.
