Chapter 320: A Man Who Incurred Public Outrage (2/2)

Bailing's face turned red like a cooked shrimp. She just can't do it. Why do you have to come and laugh at her? It's so annoying!

She ran all the way back to Ah Man's cave. When she opened the door, Ah Man was still waiting for her in the yard. She pretended to be calm and said, "Look, I've already taken care of it. Now you can grill it."

Ah Man hummed, "Here's some firewood, you can roast it."

"Okay." When Bailing went to get firewood, she didn't notice the complexity that flashed across the other person's eyes.

Ah Man came back a minute earlier than her. He saw everything that happened by the river. He didn't expect Bai Ling to be able to hold on. He couldn't say any more excessive words. Let's just leave it at that for today.

Bailing knows how to barbecue. First, he sets up the firewood, then skewer the rabbit that looks like it's been chewed by a dog. Ah Man has the seasonings, and the next step is to wait.

Ah Man twitched his ears and said to Bai Ling, "You roast it first, I'll go out for a walk."

Bai Ling felt a little relieved when she heard that and nodded, "Go ahead and take a look. I'll have it grilled when you come back."

She was so nervous that whenever Ah Man was in the same place with her, she would get nervous and stare at the flames, afraid that she would get burnt.

Ah Man glanced at her and went out, fearing that there would be more fighting.

As expected, a group of males followed Bai Ling over. Upon seeing him, they all expressed dissatisfaction, "You, an orc from another tribe, want to bully the females of our tribe?"

Ah Man stood opposite them fearlessly, "I didn't force you. If you don't believe me, you can wait for the female to come out and ask her."

"Please leave my territory now, or I will take it as a provocation."

This arrogant attitude made the orcs dissatisfied. Hey, how dare you, a foreigner, talk to them like this?

A male said angrily, "You asked the females of our tribe to grill you meat. You are provoking us!"

Ah Man said impatiently: "I told you, this is the female's own will. If you don't like it, stop her and don't run to me."

This made the males in the tribe even angrier. What did he mean? Was he trying to show off?

Show off that the female is willing to give you a barbecue from a foreign race without even looking at them?

How can I swallow this?

Before they could say a few words, the fight started. Ah Man changed into a beast form and challenged their group alone, deliberately leading them to the square. There was no sound, and Bai Ling had no idea what was happening outside.

If Wen Te hadn't come to stop him, Ah Man would probably have been beaten up.

One or two, a dozen or so is no problem, but what about hundreds?

I'm afraid he would be crushed to death. Wen Te arrived in time and Ah Man only had some injuries on his face.

Wente persuaded the tribesmen to leave first, then turned back to persuade him: "Aman, this is a warrior tribe, you should restrain yourself a little."

Ah Man's face was dark. This was not the trouble he caused!

Bai Ling insisted on pursuing him, and he only made a small request. The females had no objection, but the males couldn't stand it and were bored enough to pick a fight with him!

Ah Man was so upset that he felt like he was in a dilemma. Anyone who knew how to curse wouldn't be so upset!

"Vent, I know my limits. It's your people who are too unreasonable."

Wen Te had no other choice but to say helplessly, "Don't make a fuss about your relationship with Bai Ling too public. No one else will pay attention to you two."

The news of Bai Ling cleaning up the prey for the foreign orcs has spread throughout the tribe, and it would be strange if she didn't incur public outrage. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
