Chapter 12: The Sect is Full of Cao Cao

"Why are you everywhere?"

Tu Nianben was about to ask why Xu Ziqiao was outside the sect, but when he heard this, he immediately understood and blinked, "Brother, are you avoiding me?"

He looked harmless, and the more Xu Ziqiao looked at him, the more annoyed he became.

Two days ago, he tricked his senior brother into making a wasted trip in order to save her, and he lost face in front of him. Now she doesn't seem to be happy at all, which is really infuriating.

Xu Ziqiao glared at her with a look of impatience, "Since you know this, why don't you get out of the way?"

"oh."

Shrugging his shoulders, Tu Nian stepped aside.

Xu Ziqiao used to be the youngest among the inner disciples, and had always been taught by word of mouth. When he suddenly started to command others, he felt a little proud for a while.

He was about to say a few more words, but Tu Nian had no intention of waiting for him. He stepped aside and left through the gap.

Xu Ziqiao suddenly felt that he had been fooled and said angrily: "Who told you to leave? Come back!"

Tu Nian stopped and looked back at him in confusion, "Brother, is there anything else?"

That look was too calm. Xu Ziqiao felt like he had punched cotton. After a long pause, he finally managed to utter, "My Spirit Musk Fruit..."

I still remember this!

Tu Nian looked at him with an indescribable expression and sighed softly.

Everyone says that women are calculative, but few people know that men are just as calculative.

Xu Ziqiao turned his face away when she looked at him. When he spoke again, his momentum had mostly faded. "It's not that I really need that thing. My eldest brother has recently reached a bottleneck in his cultivation. With the spiritual musk fruit, perhaps things will go more smoothly."

"Useless."

Tired of his nagging, Tu Nian said something shocking, "What's bothering Senior Brother is a demonic obstacle. If you really gave him the Spirit Musk Fruit, it would be bad news."

This is why she has been playing tricks on Xu Ziqiao.

The spiritual musk fruit was really not a rare thing to her. She picked a lot of it when she came out of Yuqing Gate. Excluding the ones she gave to Nie Yanchen before, there were still dozens left. If it was really useful, she would have given it to him long ago.

The eldest brother would have a demonic barrier? Xu Ziqiao couldn't believe it at all. He glared at her and said, "Don't talk nonsense if you don't understand."

"Forget it if you don't believe me."

Tu Nian curled her lips. She couldn't possibly tell him that she read it in a book. Even if she really said that, he would have to be so stubborn to believe it, right?

In short, there was no point in saying more. She waved her sleeves and was about to leave, but unexpectedly she turned around and bumped into the wall of flesh. She stumbled back two steps and looked up. Jin Nanfeng was also looking down at her.

After being caught gossiping, Tu Nian instantly lowered her head guiltily, not looking at him, feeling extremely confused.

Could it be that everyone in this clan has the surname Cao? Otherwise, why would every time she mentioned someone, that person would suddenly appear and scare her?

If this continues, it would be a minor matter that I can't wear the vest, but I'm afraid that one day I will be scared to death.

"Big Brother!"

In stark contrast to Tu Nian, Xu Ziqiao was overjoyed to see Jin Nanfeng. He quickly approached him and asked, "Brother, why did you suddenly come to the outer gate?"

Jin Nanfeng calmly withdrew his gaze and said, "It's almost time to go down the mountain for training. We need to make some arrangements for the itinerary."

Experience?

Tu Nianyuan was still depressed, and was stunned when he heard this.

In the original novel, Su Youzhi's first training seemed to take place during this season, and he was traveling with people from the Snow Valley.

Doesn’t that mean I’ll have to meet those people from Yuqing Sect?

Several rare treasures obtained through deception were still lying in the Qiankun bag. Thinking of Yu Zhe's expressionless face, Tu Nian suddenly got goosebumps all over his body.

Without caring about anything else at the moment, she anxiously asked, "Are the inner disciples going too?"

Xu Ziqiao rolled his eyes and said, "What do you think? The sect training is for the outer sect, so it certainly has nothing to do with us."

Just as he breathed a sigh of relief, Tu Nian realized that he had overreacted. He arched his brows and explained, "After all, training requires meeting outsiders. My cultivation is still shallow, and I'm afraid of bringing shame to our sect."

This statement might be enough to fool Xu Ziqiao, but it was obviously not convincing to Jin Nanfeng.

The former snorted upon hearing this and muttered to himself how poor his master's vision was.

The latter looked at Tu Nian without being able to tell whether he was happy or angry, and his slightly drooping eyelids concealed the light in his dark eyes.

Just one glance and Tu Nian's thoughts of running away were gone, and he could only stand there and smile awkwardly.

After all, the identity of an inner sect disciple still attracts attention. While the three of them were standing there for a while, many people had gathered around the cafeteria.

When Chu Qiurong came out, she was still wondering why the outer disciples didn't go to rest after dinner today, but came here to attend the big market.

It wasn't until he saw the three people not far from the cafeteria that a smile appeared at the corner of his eyes.

"Hey, how come you two brothers are in such a good mood to come and take a walk outside the sect?"

Jin Nanfeng and Chu Qiurong obviously have a close relationship. When he saw him coming, his whole temperament relaxed a little.

Nodding at him, Jin Nanfeng said, "Come and do some business."

Xu Ziqiao also followed up with a greeting.

Chu Qiurong's appearance was like timely rain. Tu Nian felt as if he had been pardoned and quickly gave him a look for help.

As he approached, Chu Qiurong noticed that the atmosphere among them seemed not right, and Tu Nian's action further confirmed his guess.

He exchanged a glance with Jin Nanfeng and smiled, then walked around him and headed towards Tu Nian. As they brushed past each other, a hint of surprise flashed across Jin Nanfeng's eyes, but he quickly returned to normal.

Standing next to Tu Nian, Chu Qiurong jokingly said, "Why are you still standing here after eating? Are you trying to digest your food?"

Tu Nian was under great pressure and had no intention of joking. He grinned when he heard the words, as if he wanted to eat someone, which made Chu Qiurong laugh.

Turning around, he said to Jin Nanfeng leisurely, "Junior Sister has just started practicing, and this is the most important time. I won't delay you, Senior Brother."
