This was the first time in Bo Qiu's thousands of years that he spoke loudly and disregarded etiquette, and it was all to coax a child. If this were to get out, he would probably be laughed at.
But even so, he still gritted his teeth and insisted, "There's a path in that pond! If you shout again, I'll leave you here and starve to death!"
After shouting these words in one breath, Bo Qiu's breathing was particularly heavy, not knowing whether it was due to tiredness or excitement.
Tu Nian was stunned for a moment, then stopped crying. After holding it in for a long time, she burped at him.
The man and the sword faced each other stupidly. After a while, Tu Nian said in a muffled voice with a heavy nasal sound: "How did you know? If there was no way out, I would have drowned if I went down there."
After coughing twice, Bo Qiu said, "I picked the fruit there."
Hearing his voice become hoarse, Tu Nian shrank back and muttered softly, "You deserve to be scolded for not telling me earlier that you knew there was a way."
Or maybe he is a sword maker, so his comprehension is a little poor.
Bo Qiu really wanted to kill her with a sword, but when he thought that she was the last blood of Tushan clan, he endured it.
Tu Nian leaned over to the water's edge and poked his head out, muttering, "It's so dark, is there really a way out? Don't take revenge on me."
Bo Qiu didn't say anything more. With a flash of his sword, he pointed to the third of the pond. "Enter the water from here. Swim forward past two huge rocks. There's an air chamber. From there, swim south for half a cup of tea, and you'll reach shore."
Upon hearing this, Tu Nian looked inside again. The bottom of the pool was pitch black, and it felt scary.
But at the moment, there seemed to be no other way to go except this one. Between starving to death and being scared to death, she chose the latter.
She took a deep breath by the pond, put Bo Qiu on her waist, made all the mental preparations, and then dived into the water.
