Chapter 241 Opportunity

Chu Qiurong sat down next to her and tried to take the cup from her hand, but she dodged it and gave her a well-placed eye roll.

"You don't care about Yuwen Yiyi anymore."

Tu Nian was so upset by his words that she had to reluctantly straighten up. She glanced at Chu Qiurong with a rather impatient expression: "What are you doing?"

"I found a teacher for you." Chu Qiurong waved to the side.

"Teacher?" Tu Nian looked in the direction of his hand in confusion. It turned out to be Yuwen Yiyi and that lecher.

Tu Nian glanced at Chu Qiurong, then at Bo Qiu who was getting closer, and said nothing more. She lay down again and continued to struggle with the wine at the bottom of the glass.

When Bo Qiu arrived, Yuwen Yiyi beside him could not hide his joy and rushed over to hug Tu Nian.

"Anian! You finally made it!" she shouted, even with a hint of tears in her voice. She knew better than anyone how Tu Nian had been through all these years.

Tu Nian didn't sit up straight. She forced a smile. This scoundrel? She didn't think he could teach her anything.

Out of respect for Chu Qiurong and out of politeness, Tu Nian tilted her head and glanced at Bo Qiu. She could see that his light brown eyes were full of admiration for her. Besides that, she seemed to see something else.

His light brown eyes were not a common color, and Tu Nian was a little stunned for a moment.

Seeing her staring at him without saying anything, Bo Qiu took the initiative to say, "You sing very well."

"Thank you." Tu Nian came back to his senses and realized that staring at others like that was even more impolite.

"Have you learned it?"

"A little bit, but it was a long time ago." When he said this, Tu Nian's expression was a little gloomy.

"You... like singing very much, right?" Bo Qiu hesitated for a while, but still asked the question he wanted to know most.

Tu Nian straightened her head when she heard this question. She seemed to think for a moment before narrowing her eyes slightly and replying in a tone that was almost confessional, "I like it."

Her expression made Bo Qiu feel dazed. This expression almost instantly brought him back to the time when he first met her.

"So do you want to be a singer? A top singer?" He looked into Tu Nian's eyes and spoke slowly, word by word.

Bo Qiu's pleasant voice lingered in Tu Nian's ears. Looking at his light brown eyes, Tu Nian's heart kept beating wildly.

She thought about it. She had thought about it the first time she heard her mother sing seriously.

She had wanted it so much for fifteen years, so that today, when she finally had the chance to touch that threshold, she was too timid to reach out.

Seeing Tu Nian in a daze, Yu Wenyi shook her gently: "Don't just stand there."

Yuwen Yiyi was looking at her, as were Chu Qiurong and Bo Qiu. Their expressions told her that this was what everyone wanted. She really wanted to agree, study music, and fulfill her dream, but...

"I'm sorry, I can't..." Tu Nian said this almost tremblingly.

She didn't dare look anyone in the eye. As soon as she finished speaking, she grabbed the bag on the bar and ran out. She ran all the way to the parking lot, got on her motorcycle, and fled.

At four in the morning, Xingxian had closed the door. The bar was clean, with no trace of anyone having been there. Even the farce of the night seemed to have never happened.

Also missing was Tu Nian’s path.

The bar was dark, with only a few small retro lights on at the bar, illuminating the profiles of the two men.

"...That's roughly what happened." After Tu Nian finished telling her story, Chu Qiurong started drinking by herself. If there was no cocktail, brandy would be fine.

Bo Qiu pondered for a moment after hearing this, then asked, "She actually paid off the debt by herself for such a long time? So she rejected me because of the debt?"

"It's likely."

After receiving a positive answer, Bo Qiu frowned and slammed the table, saying, "I'll pay her back."

“…”

Seeing Chu Qiurong remained silent, Bo Qiu could guess a little: "How could she not accept it?"

"Why else do you think I didn't help her?" Chu Qiurong said.

"No, she can't go on like this." Bo Qiu had to take a step back and ask, "Her salary..."

Chu Qiurong shook her wine glass and interrupted, "She checked the market price and, including what I gave her, it's 24,000. She doesn't want any more."

Twenty-four thousand, after accounting for rent and food, Tu Nian would be lucky if he could pay back fifteen thousand a month. As for paying off the debt, it would take at least five or six years.

"Then what else can I do?" Bo Qiu scratched his head in worry.

"Actually, there is a way," Chu Qiurong poured herself another glass and said, "but it depends on your sincerity."

Bo Qiu's eyes lit up, it seemed that there was still hope.

Sure enough, he nodded repeatedly after hearing Chu Qiurong's next few words. By the end, his worried expression had completely vanished, and he couldn't help but punch Chu Qiurong in the face, cursing, "You old fox, have you thought this through long ago?"

Chu Qiurong patted the wrinkles on her shoulder caused by his hammering and said, "I didn't expect it to come to this. If you really want to help her, you should be more considerate of her personality in the future."

Bo Qiu raised his eyebrows and raised his thin lips: "Don't worry." After saying that, he turned around and thought of something else, so he asked: "Then I will do my business, receive guests..."

"Nothing to talk about." Chu Qiurong refused.

"Tsk tsk, what an old fox..." Bo Qiu pursed his lips, took out his cell phone and dialed a number.

"Please contact... um, yes... Xu's Musical Instrument Store..."
