The next morning, Han Zhenyu took Jiang Shaoting to visit Deputy Director Bai to let him know that they were safe and to thank him for his care for Han Zhenyu over the years.
Su Xieqiu went to the village to buy some dried mushrooms and some dried goods and asked them to take them away tomorrow.
Chenchen and Anan didn't go to school today.
An An didn’t know yet that her parents would take them back to Beijing tomorrow. She took Tian Tian to the inner room to talk to her mother.
Chenchen had already heard what his father said this morning. He sat in the main room in silence, tears welling up in his eyes.
Haohao and Xuanxuan were playing with cars in the main room. When they saw Chenchen crying, they were shocked and came over to ask, "Brother, what's wrong with you? Why are you crying? Did you get scolded?"
