Chen Yushan was listening to the radio at home. When she heard the guard say her youngest son had returned, she hurried out to greet him.
Seeing the familiar figure approaching from a distance, Chen Yushan's eyes were red, "Fang Xun, my son is finally back..."
Gu Fangxun quickly stepped forward and asked with a smile, "Mom, are you feeling better?"
"Much better." When Chen Yushan was young, she followed the team to fight in wars and developed a chronic illness.
She actually hasn't reached retirement age yet, but due to health reasons, she applied for early retirement last year.
Chen Yusan looked at her son whom she hadn't seen for almost two years. She felt relieved and distressed that he had become more mature and stable than before.
But everything is fine now. My son has been transferred back to the Beijing Military Region, and my daughter and her family have resumed work.
Chen Yusan wiped the corners of her eyes and suddenly found two chubby little boys standing next to her son, looking at her with curiosity.
Chen Yushan then remembered that her youngest son had gone to the Northeast to pick up Chen Chen and An An’an’s younger brothers and sisters.
She quickly pulled the two children in front of her and asked enthusiastically, "Is this Haohao and Xuanxuan? Why are only the two of you here? Where are your parents and sister?"
Haohao smiled and said, "My dad is on a business trip, and my mom has to work at home. My sister is too young, and my mom was afraid that she would make trouble, so she didn't let her come. She said that she would bring her to see you when she is older."
Chen Yushan heard him speak like a little adult, and his tone was very similar to An An's. She loved them both very much.
She looked at the twins and praised them again and again, making the little brothers feel a little embarrassed, and they just touched their heads and laughed.
Chen Yushan held their hands and asked as they walked: "Who of you is called Haohao? Who of you is called Xuanxuan?"
"Grandma, my name is Haohao, and I'm the eldest."
"My name is Xuanxuan, and I'm your younger brother."
Although the two brothers are twins, they only look 50% to 60% similar, so they are still easy to tell apart.
"Okay, okay, grandma will remember it." The more Chen Yusan looked at the two brothers, the more she liked them.
I thought, how could there be such a cute child, as well-behaved as Chenchen and Anan.
Xuanxuan took her hand and asked, "Grandma, are my elder brother and sister going to school? When will they be back?"
Chen Yushan looked at the watch. It was just half past nine, and there were still two hours before school was over.
"It's almost time. Go back and take a shower and rest for a while. Brother and sister will be back soon."
When they heard that they would be able to see their older brother and sister soon, they became very excited and couldn't stop grinning.
Several people came to the Gu family's small building. As soon as Chen Yusan opened the door, she heard Haohao and Xuanxuan exclaimed "Wow" in surprise.
"Grandma, your house is so beautiful, and it has two floors."
"Do you two like it here?" Chen Yusan asked them with a smile.
The twins nodded repeatedly. There were no such tall houses in their village, only in the county town, and they were not as beautiful as these.
The two brothers think Beijing is a great place.
"Then can you stay here? Just go to school here, so you can be with your brothers and sisters every day."
When the two brothers heard that they were asked to stay, they quickly shook their heads and refused.
Haohao said, "Grandma, we are here to visit my big brother and sister. We will have to leave after staying for a while. There is still a lot of work to do at home. We need to clean up our own plots and go to work with mom to earn work points. The family cannot do without us brothers."
Chen Yushan felt both amused and distressed when she heard that such a young child had to work in the fields.
Alas, farmers’ lives are really hard.
Chen Yushan led them to the living room, took off the small backpacks on their backs, and hurried to get them food.
Gu Fangxun put the luggage at the foot of the stairs, stretched his arms, and said, "Mom, sit down and have a rest. Stop working. I'll take Haohao and Xuanxuan to take a bath first, and then we'll go to the cafeteria to eat."
His mother is in poor health and her cooking skills are not very good.
The food in the military district canteen is good and the chefs are excellent cooks.
So they seldom cook at home and basically eat in the canteen.
Chen Yusan knew her own limitations and didn't force herself to cook for them.
She went to the kitchen to wash some fruits, brought some snacks, and asked the children to lie down on the ground after taking a bath.

Gu Fangxun brought the twins to the cafeteria. It was not yet time for dinner, so he asked the chef to cook a few dishes.
The twins looked at the neatly arranged tables and chairs and thought this place was very clean, better than the cafeteria in their father's factory.
The two brothers looked around, trying to get a closer look.
My mother, great-grandmother and great-grandfather didn’t come. I will tell them what I saw when they go back.

The food came quickly and soon four dishes were placed on the table.
Haohao took a bite of the lion's head and praised it for being delicious with squinting eyes.
Gu Fangxun smiled and picked up a chicken leg for each of them. "Eat more. I'll take you to find Chenchen and An'an later."
Talking about their older brother and sister, they both started grinning again.
Xuanxuan finished the food in his mouth and asked, "Uncle, where do my elder brother and sister go to school? Is it far from here?"
"It's not far, just in the compound. You two should eat quickly and then go pick up your brother and sister from school and give them a surprise."
"Okay, okay." After hearing this, the two brothers quickly ate their rice, hoping to see their older brother and sister as soon as possible.
"Don't eat so fast, be careful not to choke." Lu Fangxun quickly served them some soup.
Seeing the two of them wolfing down the food, I regretted rushing them.

Chenchen and Anan don’t know yet that the twins are here.
Chenchen made an appointment with his classmates to play table tennis after lunch.
An An also loves sports, but she is not interested in basketball, table tennis, etc.
