Su Xieqiu took the small schoolbag off Lin Junxi's back and asked him kindly, "Junxi, are you hungry?"
Lin Junxi touched his stomach. Even though he had eaten some snacks in the car, his stomach still felt a little empty.
He said honestly, "Auntie, I'm a little hungry. I can eat tomorrow morning."
Su Xieqiu laughed, "No need to wait until tomorrow, Auntie will make noodles for you right now."
When she saw An An and Chen Chen coming in, she quickly took their luggage.
"Chenchen, An'an, you've all grown taller..." Her voice choked up before she could finish her words.
The two children have been with her for six or seven years. They are not her biological children but are closer to her than her own.
I am usually busy in my life and I only think of them occasionally, but when I meet them I can't control my emotions.
"Aunt Su, we missed you so much." Chenchen and Anan hugged her and cuddled with her for a long time.
Su Xieqiu comforted them in a low voice.
Grandma Du and Grandpa Du have gone to the kitchen to busy themselves.
Knowing that they might come back today, Su Xieqiu and Grandma Du had already stewed chicken soup and rolled out the noodles in the afternoon.
I’m not cooking this late at night. I’ll just make some chicken noodle soup for the kids to fill their stomachs and then make something delicious for them tomorrow.
Tiantian took An An back to their small bedroom. The room was still the same as before. Even the clothes that An An didn't take away were still hanging in the closet.
An An put his schoolbag on the table, rolled around on the kang a few times, and let out a devilish laugh.
“Haha…hahaha…my room…I’m back again…ahahahahahaha.”
Tiantian also climbed onto the kang and hugged her with a smile, "Sister, Mom knew you were coming back, and we just changed the quilt today. It smells so good."
An An chuckled, hugged her and kissed her twice, then sat up, opened her schoolbag, and took out a bunch of hair flowers, hairpins, and small toys for girls.
"Sister, these are what my mother and I bought for you. Do you like them?"
Tiantian's eyes sparkled when she saw so many beautiful flowers.
She took a hairpin and put it on her head, then looked at herself in the mirror conceitedly, "Sister, it looks really good."
"Of course, I spent a long time choosing for you." An An raised her chin proudly, then took out two larger hairpins and a hair flower, "These are for Sister Linglan, the rest are yours."
Tiantian nodded happily and put the hairpins and hair flowers in her drawer.
An An carried her down from the kang and said with a smile, "In those two big bags outside, there are also the skirt and leather shoes I bought for you, and a small pink shoulder bag. They are all very pretty."
Tiantian put her arms around her neck, put her face close to hers and said, "Thank you, sister."
An An patted her butt, and the two of them walked out of the room hand in hand, just in time to meet Chen Chen and the twins at the door. They were taking Lin Junxi back to the room.
Seeing that the adults were not at home, An An arrogantly snorted at Lin Junxi, then walked over with a swagger.
When passing by Lin Junxi, he deliberately bumped into him.
Su Xieqiu came over to call the children to eat and happened to see this scene.
She didn't say anything at the time, and asked the children to go to the kitchen to eat noodles. After the meal, she called An An aside.
"An An, what's wrong with you? Jun Xi is here as a guest, why are you always targeting him?"
An An pouted and complained, "Aunt Su, Lin Junxi is such a bad boy. When I first returned to Beijing, he often picked on me and I beat him up a few times before he behaved. This time he shamelessly followed us to our house again. I am so fed up with him."
Su Xieqiu didn't know about this yet, so he comforted her first and then talked to her in a low voice.
"An'an, it was wrong for Junxi to pick a fight with you, but you've already hit him, so you two are even now. He's here as a guest at our house, and as the host, you can't be so rude. Otherwise, people will say that we don't know how to teach our children."
An An lowered her head, with a reluctant look on her face, and muttered, "I know, Aunt Su."
As soon as she finished speaking, she raised her head abruptly, pinched her waist and said, "If that brat dares to provoke me first, I will definitely not show mercy."
After saying that, she waved her arms vigorously, as if she saw the scene of Lin Junxi being beaten to a pulp by her.
Su Xieqiu was at a loss whether to laugh or cry, thinking, how come this little girl, who used to be such a well-behaved girl, has changed so much in just one year?
How can a girl always pick a fight with others?
Su Xieqiu decided to take this opportunity to teach her a lesson and talk some sense into her. She was already a grown-up girl, so she couldn't keep fighting with others.
She pinched An An's face with her hand and said, "Hurry up and take a shower, go to bed early, and I'll make your favorite dumplings tomorrow morning."
"Thank you, Aunt Su. I knew that Aunt Su loved me the most." An An kissed her on the face and skipped back to her room to get some clothes to change into.
Su Xieqiu looked at her cheerful back, smiled and shook his head.
By the time the children had washed up and gone to bed, it was already past eleven o'clock.
Su Xiaqiu persuaded her grandparents to go back to the house, and she sat in the main room reading a book while waiting for Han Zhenyu.
Han Zhenyu drove the car to the factory and went to the security department to register. The trip took a lot of time, and it was almost twelve o'clock when he got home.
Su Xieqiu opened the door and saw the dusty man, feeling a little distressed, "Go wash up first, I'll make you some noodles."
Han Zhenyu quickly pulled her back and said, "Wife, I don't want to eat noodles. You can just take something to eat later."
Su Xieqiu knew that this man didn't want her to be busy so late at night, so she said nothing and took the purse from his hand.
