A dormitory has four bunk beds and can accommodate eight people.
Su Xieqiu pushed the door open and saw two female comrades already making the beds there.
One was in his twenties, and the other was older, probably in his early thirties.
Su Xieqiu greeted them with a smile, "Hello, classmates. My name is Su Xieqiu. I'm from Liao Province and I'm studying English."
The younger female comrade said, "Hello, my name is Yan Hongxiu, I'm from Beijing, and I'm also studying English."
The older one introduced himself enthusiastically, "My name is Xu Chuntao, I'm from Hebei Province, and I'm studying English like you."
Seeing that Su Xieqiu came empty-handed, Xu Chuntao asked in confusion, "Student Su Xieqiu, where is your luggage? Is it still at the registration office? My bed has been made, how about I help you get it?"
Xu Chuntao is a kind-hearted person. She was the first one to arrive. She had already packed her things and was very willing to help the new students.
Su Xieqiu said gratefully: "Thank you, Comrade Xu Chuntao, but my luggage has not been picked up yet. I just came to take a look today. I plan to move in when school starts."
"Where do you live now? A guest house? That must cost a lot of money every day, right? Then why don't you move to the dormitory earlier so that we can study together."
Xu Chuntao had a good impression of Su Xieqiu, so out of concern, she said a few more words to him.
Su Xieqiu could see that she was just concerned, so he didn't mind her question. He smiled and said, "My wife and I were admitted to a university here, and our parents and children followed us here. My wife bought a house."
When Yan Hongxiu heard that she had bought a house, she looked at her in surprise.
Xu Chuntao was even more surprised, but what surprised her was not that Su Xieqiu bought a house, but that she was already married and had children.
"You don't look very old, but you already have a child?"
Su Xieqiu nodded and said, "In a few months, I will be 27 years old, and my three children will all go to school."
Xu Chuntao said incredulously: "You look like you're in your early twenties at most. I didn't expect you already have three children. How come you look so young?"
"Comrade Xu Chuntao, thank you for your compliment, but it's not that exaggerated." Su Xieqiu felt embarrassed by what she said and quickly smiled and shook his head.
"No, no, I'm not exaggerating at all. If you don't believe me, ask Hong Xiu."
Yan Hongxiu also smiled and nodded, "Xie Qiu, when you first came in, we all thought you were not married."
"Thank you for your compliments." Su Xieqiu exchanged a few words with others and was about to leave.
At this time, Han Zhenyu came over.
He knocked on the door twice, nodded politely to everyone, then looked at Su Xieqiu with a smile, "Wife, can I go home now?"
