In the tea room, a conflict arises

The weekend passed quickly, and Chen Xiyu didn't want to go back to school. On the one hand, she was thinking about how to return the gift to Zheng Jing, and on the other hand, she didn't want to face the midterm exam results. She was not good at physics and math to begin with, and after taking a few days off, she didn't want to know the scores for these two.

Chen Xiyu walked into the classroom carrying a pink schoolbag and sat down with her head down.

Tan Zhao came over with his schoolbag and looked at the girl who looked like a kitten with her ears drooping. He placed the custard bun he brought for her in front of her.

Chen Xiyu's eyes lit up instantly.

"Why are you so dejected so early in the morning?"

"Can you blindfold yourself so that the scores won't be announced~"

Chen Xiyu ate while crying, "The first period is physics. Old Feng always likes to project our grades on the big screen. I just got out of the last place in physics, but now I'm back to the bottom after taking leave."

Tan Zhao was packing his schoolbag and chuckled after hearing this.

In the first class, the physics teacher asked the physics class representative to distribute the test papers to the students.

Chen Xiyu received a failing test paper, and was afraid but also wanted to see the score. When she saw it, she was in tears, "42 points"

"It hit a new historical low."

Chen Xiyu wanted to ask Tan Zhao, but Tan Zhao's test paper had not been handed out yet. She turned around and asked the others, "Huihui, how did you do on the test?"

"Xie Yanzhi, how much did you score in the exam?"

The girl asked around, but couldn't find anyone with a lower score than hers. Chen Xiyu's physics grades hadn't been very good since she entered high school.

Lao Feng patted the table and cleared his throat: "Okay, everyone has received the test papers."

"Everyone, look down at your scores on your papers. Do they justify your recent study? Do they justify your status as a student at Tongcheng F High School?"

"You are sitting here, with such excellent teaching resources and environment. Your starting point is already much higher than others. Look down at your scores and your accuracy rate. Have you lived up to the expectations of your teachers and parents? Reflect on whether you have put in enough effort!"

Tan Zhao waited for Lao Feng to pause, then raised his hand, "Teacher."

Old Feng nodded and Tan Zhao stood up.

"Teacher, my test paper hasn't been distributed yet."

Old Feng: "I have your paper here. I was just about to say, Tan Zhao, 100 points. He's the only one in the class who got 100 points. And there are only two people in the whole grade who got 100 points. One of them is Meng Qianfan from the experimental class, and the other is Tan Zhao from our class."

The class fell silent, followed by quiet sighs of admiration from the students. They were all shocked and surprised. They had known Meng Qianfan's prowess since freshman year, but they hadn't expected Tan Zhao, the face of a seemingly affectionate school idol, to be such a brilliant student. They couldn't help but glance back at this recent transfer student.

Why is it said that he has the face of an affectionate school hunk? It is probably because of the pair of peach blossom eyes under Tan Zhao’s sword-like eyebrows. He looks at everyone with deep affection, and even when he is in a daze, it seems that he is missing someone.

"Many students will undoubtedly say that this exam was difficult, but how could someone still score full marks? Especially on the last circuit problem, Tan Zhao's approach was unique and novel, even simpler and more direct than the standard answer. Everyone can learn from his solution."

"Class monitor." The teacher suddenly called on Chen Xiyu, who had the same sigh as his classmates.

Chen Xiyu quickly came to his senses and stood up.

"Yes, teacher."

"Class monitor, you should study hard with your deskmate in the future. The one who is close to the water gets the moon first."

Chen Xiyu rubbed her head sheepishly, glancing at the boy next to her. The boy seemed unimpressed by the compliment. His response was indifferent, with no significant reaction. Feeling the gaze, he looked up and met Chen Xiyu's gaze.

Chen Xiyu glanced at her own test paper and gave him a look that seemed to say, "How did you score so high?"

Tan Zhao rolled his eyes and twirled his pen disapprovingly.

Chen Xiyu was furious and hit his eraser with his clenched fist.

"Chen Xiyu, come and copy the answers to Tan Zhao's last two questions onto the blackboard. You have beautiful handwriting. And take your deskmate's paper home with you."

A girl with a ponytail and a red and white school uniform went up, took the test paper and started writing on the blackboard.

The teacher began to review and analyze all the questions in this test paper for the students.

"Look everyone, this month's physics exam, the first question is our common physics knowledge..."

Chen Xiyu wrote Tan Zhao's answers on the blackboard with chalk. The boy's writing was neat and simple. Before the class division in her freshman year, she had asked Meng Qianfan, then a top student in her class, about physics problems. He always wrote down his answers in lengthy, neat, and detailed sentences, as if they were standard answers, while Tan Zhao's was simple and crude.

After class, many students gathered around Tan Zhao to ask him about the questions. Before the two of them could say a few words, they were interrupted by the students who gathered around them.

Chen Xiyu, with the selfless attitude of not disturbing everyone's questions, thought, "Then I'll go out and get a glass of water," and went out with the cup.

On the way back to the classroom from the bathroom, Chen Xiyu thought that her popular deskmate must be surrounded by a bunch of people asking questions. She also wanted to have a top student's brain.

Who would have thought that a group of girls suddenly came from behind and squeezed past Chen Xiyu. Chen Xiyu didn't have time to pay attention and was knocked to the ground. The water cup that was not tightened was also hit and all the water spilled out.

For an ordinary person, this collision would definitely be nothing, but Chen Xiyu had just recovered from a leg injury she had sustained while skateboarding, and her ankle seemed to be hurting again. She held onto the floor and was helped up by a passing classmate. She looked at the girls who had bumped into her.

They were a few art students from Class 6. She didn’t know the other girls, but she saw some familiar faces, including Yang Xiaoxiao, the girl who led the exercises with Tan Zhao in the last physical education class.

Yang Xiaoxiao was also sitting on the ground, one leg stretched out and the other bent, clutching her knee, frowning, looking very distressed, with tears on her face. Passersby, seeing this, would have assumed it was someone else's fault.

"Xiaoxiao, is your leg okay?" A group of girls surrounded Yang Xiaoxiao.

It happened to be in front of the door of Class 6. Chen Xiyu didn't recognize most of these people.

"Oh my god, the dance test is coming up soon, Xiaoxiao's legs..."

It just so happened that Xiao Xue, Chen Xiyu's junior high school classmate, was in Class 6, so Chen Xiyu was helped to stand up. She also looked at Yang Xiaoxiao. Yang Xiaoxiao had tears on her face, and she was biting her lips. It was really heartbreaking at first sight.

"Are you okay? Do you need me to take you to the school infirmary?"

"Hey, how are you walking? Are you the monitor of Class 3?" Yang Xiaoxiao's sister asked, pointing at her nose.

Chen Xiyu's eyes turned cold and she looked directly at the girl who was pointing at her. Although she had a good temper, she was not easy to bully. Besides, pointing at people was not a respectful behavior.
