Seeing him looking at her with a smile, Su Ruanruan pointed towards the bookshelf, "What's there? Are there lots of treasures hidden there?"
"Want to know?"
"Yes." Su Ruanruan nestled obediently in his arms, stroking his palm.
The man chuckled softly, then lifted her by the hips and led her toward the bookshelf.
"Fine, what can a woman like you do? Besides, she's been thoroughly examined."
"Today, I'll make an exception and let you choose one of those good things to take with you."
Su Ruanruan clung to him as they entered the secret room.
Oil lamps were lit on the wall, and Su Ruanruan could see several open boxes filled with piles of jewels.
She didn't know what was in the other boxes.
The man placed Su Ruanruan on a box piled high with jewelry, his gaze sweeping over her. "I've never played in an escape room before. It must be very exciting!"
The man had handsome features, even bearing a resemblance to Mu Bai.
But thinking about all the women around him, she didn't want to, for fear of catching a disease.
Unlike Huo Yan, he was completely clean, without a wife, concubines, or maids.
Su Ruanruan pushed the man on top of her, "Why are you in such a hurry, young master? I'm yours anyway, I can't possibly run away."
“I’m actually quite hungry, and my arms and legs are weak. I’m afraid I won’t be able to keep you entertained. Why don’t you wait for me at the table? I’ll come up to you soon after I’ve made my choice.”
"After you've eaten and drunk your fill, do whatever you want, young master... This space is cramped and it's making me uncomfortable..."
"How can this be..." The man hesitated, glancing to the side.
Su Ruanruan took in his expression. "What? Is there some secret here?"
Her fingers slid down the man's chest, stopping at his lower abdomen, her eyes alluring. "I know I can only choose one. In a moment, you'll strip me naked anyway. If I take more, there's nowhere to hide, isn't there?"
Su Ruanruan whispered something in his ear, and the man's eyes lit up.
He licked his lips. "What the beauty said makes some sense. If I stop her, I'll seem petty. Come on over, let's have a couple of drinks to liven things up."
Su Ruanruan smiled shyly, "Wait for me."
Watching the man leave, Su Ruanruan tried to stuff the jewelry into her spatial storage, but she couldn't get it to go in.
It's so frustrating to have such a valuable item lying around, with nowhere to hide it and no way to take it with me.
She could only look for silver notes and gold.
Upon seeing the gleaming gold and silver, Su Ruanruan didn't hesitate to throw them all into her spatial inventory.
She was one step closer to opening her space, but unfortunately, she couldn't find any silver notes after searching for a long time.
...
Su Ruanruan was afraid that he would get impatient and come looking for her again, so she just took a jade hairpin and brought it out.
The man was indeed sitting at the table drinking. When he saw Su Ruanruan come out, he pulled her onto his lap.
"Satisfied?" The man stared at her with a deep, unsettling gaze, as if he were looking at prey he had been eyeing for a long time.
"Um……"
Just as Su Ruanruan was about to speak, the man was already impatiently preparing to pick her up.
"Young master, please don't be in such a hurry."
Su Ruanruan quickly picked up the wine glass next to her, and while he wasn't paying attention, dipped her left little finger into the wine glass and drank it all in one gulp.
Sinking into the soft bed, Su Ruanruan hooked her arms around the man's neck and poured all the strong liquor from her mouth into his mouth.
The man swallowed, his desire intensifying, and his breathing becoming hot.
"So sweet and delicious."
Su Ruanruan turned her head away and closed her eyes.
I'm really hoping the medication will take effect soon.
Ever since her appearance was exposed, Su Ruanruan has been sitting in the kitchen of the braised meat shop, pondering her situation.
Before leaving the braised meat shop, she applied the remaining sleeping potion little by little to her little fingernail and dried it by the stove fire.
This happened repeatedly, but the effectiveness of the medicine remained unknown.
She could only wait, and only when she noticed that the man had gradually quieted down did Su Ruanruan let out a long sigh.
Fortunately, she had touched the man's hands; they were delicate, white, and tender, with no calluses on his palms, leading her to conclude that he did not know martial arts.
Otherwise, given the keen senses of someone skilled in martial arts, she wouldn't dare take the risk.
Su Ruanruan pushed the man off her, quietly walked around the screen, and went to the door.
Peering through the crack in the door, I saw several guards standing outside.
Even the stern-faced man who led her in was there.
How do we get out?
Su Ruanruan felt that the room was too quiet, which was not a good thing and could easily arouse suspicion. So she sat on the bed and shook it vigorously.
A sound that should have made one blush and their heart race came through the crack in the door, but the people in the courtyard remained calm and stood upright, clearly unfazed by the situation.
She paused several times during the session, and the shy, delicate voice finally disappeared completely as darkness fell.
Su Ruanruan laid the man down, covered him with a blanket, and lowered all the curtains.
She sat on the edge of the bed, deep in thought. What should she do now?
You can dodge the first day of the month, but you can't dodge the fifteenth.
How did she escape from here?
Just as he was in a panic, a voice came from outside, "Young Master, it's past the appointed time for her to leave."
Leave? She can leave now?
Su Ruanruan looked around and found that she didn't have a single piece of clothing. With no other option, she had to go out wearing only a gauze dress.
As soon as she pushed open the door, a cold wind whistled through her. She hugged her arms and stood in front of the stern-faced man.
"Your young master is exhausted and just fell asleep. He told you not to disturb him."
The dark-faced man still wanted to go in and investigate, but Su Ruanruan laughed and said, "You guys are really something. I'm just a weak woman, why are you so scared?"
The dark-faced man ignored her, pushed open the door and entered. He called out several times but no one answered. Finally, he lifted the gauze curtain and took a look. Only when he heard the long, steady breathing of the person on the bed did he feel relieved.
