Ignoring Mu Bai's pleading look, Su Ruanruan stood up and wiped her hands with a cloth.
"Wait a minute, Miss Yao, you're already here, why are you in such a hurry to leave?"
"Last time, Miss Yao personally cooked a delicious chicken soup for Brother Mubai, and I wanted to ask you for the recipe, but I never had the chance. Now that I've finally met you, it's only natural that I should ask Miss Yao for some pointers, isn't it?"

"As far as I know, not all medicinal herbs can be used together; some herbs are incompatible. Since Miss Yao has expertise in tonics, could you please share some of your knowledge on pharmacology with me? I am all ears."
Yao Yutong could barely keep her composure as Su Ruanruan's questions rained down on her.
He didn't even know what to say to her first.
Moreover, her questions were tricky and harsh. He had never cooked before, and she wasn't a cook either; how would she know the answers to these questions?
She had Xiaolian buy all this chicken soup from the restaurant.
As for how to cook it and how to put it, is she supposed to call the chef over to explain it to her?
He really wanted to tear her incessantly chattering mouth apart when Su Ruanruan blurted out all of this.
She talks so much, it's so noisy and disruptive!
Seeing that she remained silent for a long time, her face even more unpleasant than if a paint palette had been overturned, Su Ruanruan pouted.

He uttered those boastful words, gave a cold snort, and stormed off.
The woman opposite watched the departing figure.
"Hey, she's so pretty, but she has such a bad temper. She's not even as good-looking as that woman with big breasts and a big butt."
Meanwhile, Yao Yutong left, leaving only Su Ruanruan and Mu Bai in the courtyard.
The atmosphere was slightly awkward. Su Ruanruan sat down again to deal with the chicken feathers in her hands, without even glancing at them.
Ignoring him only added to Mu Bai's unease.
He reached out to touch the chicken, but Su Ruanruan stopped him, saying, "We don't need you here."
"Ruanruan, please don't be angry with me, okay?"
Mu Bai squatted down, his clear, bright eyes staring straight at Su Ruanruan.
Even Bai Ruan staggered over and rubbed against Mu Bai's feet.
Then it stretched its head out and lay on Mu Bai's shoe, blinking its bright eyes at Su Ruanruan.
I sniffed the air, noticing the pungent smell of blood.
Su Ruanruan deftly picked up the knife and placed the plucked hen on a wooden board. With a swift motion, the knife slashed twice, and the hen's head and tail separated from its body in an instant.
The two noises startled Bai Ruan, who let out another howl, flapping her little paws and looking pitifully at Mu Bai.
Mu Bai glanced at it, then held it in his arms and gently stroked its soft fur.
Su Ruanruan lifted her eyelids and looked at the pitiful "father and son".
Do you also think my language is vulgar?
Mu Bai's survival instincts kicked in, "No...no."
Su Ruanruan pouted and changed the basin to continue cleaning the hen.
"Don't blame me for treating her that way. She's not as good as you think, and she's not a good match for you."
