Su Ruanruan continued forward, followed by Fu Hengfeng's screams. Fu Huan clenched his fists, his eyes swirling with dark currents, as if making a final, desperate struggle.
Emerging from the prison, Wei Zheng emerged from the shadows. He led Su Ruanruan out through a side gate, where his carriage was parked.
After Su Ruanruan got into the car, she didn't say a word. She simply lifted the curtain and gazed quietly at the capital city under the moonlight.
After sitting in the carriage for a long time, Su Ruanruan said to Wei Zheng, "Thank you for today. Let's set off."
The carriage emerged from the shadows and slowly made its way down the street. Her gaze fell on a carriage parked by the roadside. The lanterns hanging on the carriage were dim, but Su Ruanruan could still make out the tall figure and the petite woman in his arms.
Seeing that she kept looking outside, Wei Zheng curiously leaned closer and looked back...
"The night wind is cold outside. You are delicate now, so be careful not to catch a cold." He quickly lowered the curtain.
After speaking, he chuckled twice under Su Ruanruan's gaze.
Su Ruanruan said calmly, "They are a good match."
