Ending Outline
Yuko was captured by Indians while out. She recognized Izana as the man who had saved her when she was a child, and upon seeing him, she blurted out "Black Hero." Izana also recognized Yuko. Yuko explained that she had been searching for him ever since, but to no avail. The adults said it was a hallucination she had experienced out of fear—a fantasy hero. Because Yuko kept calling him a hero and was very cooperative, Izana was quite polite and didn't make things difficult for her. He simply told her to stay put, and he would let her go later.
Because the wait was so boring, the Indians suggested playing cards. They asked Yuko if she wanted to join. Yuko hesitated at first, saying she didn't have any money and was afraid she would spoil everyone's fun. Haiya Ran suggested that if they didn't have any money, they could bet on clothes; the loser would have to take off an item of clothing. Yuko readily agreed. But our Yuko had incredible luck at gambling; even the Haiya brothers, Isana and Tsurucho, lost so much that they were left with only their underwear.
When Mikey and the others arrived, they broke down the door and were stunned by what they saw, thinking that everyone in India had an exhibitionist tendency.
What followed was a battle between the two sides. Shinichiro appeared with Emma, who cried and asked Isana, "Since you knew where I was, why didn't you keep your promise to come and get me? We made a promise! Everyone's a liar! Neither Mom nor my brother kept their promise. Since no one wants Emma, then Emma doesn't want me either..."
Before she could finish speaking, Shinichiro stopped her, saying, "Emma, you can't say things like that to your family."
Although many people were injured, no one died this time.
Meanwhile, a coup d'état occurred within Yuko's family. Unexpected events can happen at any time, and misfortune can strike at any moment. An organization, once large, becomes bloated, especially one filled with a motley crew of scoundrels. The upheaval happened suddenly, or perhaps not so suddenly, but rather because no one had detected the underlying problems, allowing them to erupt so swiftly.
(A Tribute to The Godfather) While buying oranges at a roadside stall, Takiya Hideo is attacked by a group of thugs and shot multiple times. The assailant is killed on the spot, and Takiya is taken to the hospital. The pop group is leaderless, and chaos ensues, triggering a chain reaction. The next day, Takiya Genji flees after being convicted of attempted murder, and a warrant for his arrest is issued. Yuko is recalled by her father's loyal subordinate. At the hospital, Yuko holds her father's hand and tells him she will protect him. At this moment, Yuko faces a choice.
Option 1: Take full responsibility and avenge your father and brother by eliminating the traitors. Like Mikey, she didn't want to drag her friends into the mess, so she broke up with Mikey and distanced herself from everyone. Similarly, Mikey, during the battle in India, realized his own dark impulses and believed he would also hurt those around him. Both of them came to the realization that they had to bear their own destinies and chose to break up without prior agreement.
Yuko invited Mai out.
Yuko spoke first: "I'm so grateful for everything... I'm sorry, I didn't want to cry, but..." Yuko desperately wiped her tears with her sleeve. She didn't want to leave Manjiro with the image of an ugly, weak, snotty-nosed person, but the more she wiped, the more tears she cried.
Manjiro, standing in front of her, seemed very calm, as if he was oblivious to Yuko's tears and emotions. However, his actions contradicted his demeanor; he reached out and hugged her tightly.
Yuko stopped crying because of the hug, and she also reached out and hugged his waist.
“After you’ve cried this time, don’t cry anymore.” She heard Manjiro say this to her. “We’re just stopping to go back to our own lives. This isn’t something to be sad about and cry about.”
Yuko gripped the fabric of his shirt at the back, closed her eyes, and said, "Take care."
Mikey: "Take care."
On the way back, Yuko took off her ring and threw it out the car window. Unbeknownst to her, Mai was actually following far behind and picked it up.
Yuko successfully purged her family and, upon ascending to the throne, was told by unruly individuals that women were unworthy. Yuko then branded her face to signify her abandonment of her womanhood and killed those who harbored disloyalty on the spot. She mentored Hanma and Rina, who changed her name to Riko to emulate Yuko. The two became a close-combat bodyguard and a long-range sniper, respectively.
This side story corresponds to the extra story where Yuko becomes the Queen Bee: The Eternal Night Without Dawn.
Option 2.
After learning about Yuko's family situation, Isana chose to cooperate with Yuko. Because of Yuko's intervention, Isana survived the India arc, which was actually a twist of fate; if Yuko hadn't been kidnapped, Isana would have died. Having gone through countless trials and tribulations together, the Takiya family retired, handing over the organization to Kuroki. Years later, Yuko and Isana decided to get engaged.
Following this side story into Brahma, Takedo, unaware that Mikey and Yuko have broken up, is about to marry Hinata. Since everyone else is there except Mikey, he seeks out Yuko, asking for her help in contacting Mikey. Yuko, about to get engaged, tells Takedo, before he has experienced their breakup, that time changes people; Mikey is no longer the Mikey he once was, and she is no longer the Yuko she once was. However, Takedo is stubborn and egotistical. He deeply loves Hinata and is willing to give his life for her; he cannot believe that Mikey, stronger than him, would so easily abandon Yuko.
Yuko told him, "Budo, it's not what you think about him. There's no misunderstanding between us. We just couldn't interfere in each other's lives anymore, so we severed our ties. But I'm so glad I met you all, and I've never regretted meeting Manjiro. I have no regrets; these memories are enough. You should be happy for me, Budo. I'm getting engaged to Isana, and I hope you and Hinata can attend."
The blonde Isana, who had been hiding somewhere but overheard their conversation, appeared and said, "Wait a minute, Yuko, you've got something wrong."
Yuko looked at him, puzzled.
Izana took a deep breath: "There are misunderstandings between you two. Mikey has never given up on you. All of this is because he made a deal with me."
"What?" Yuko was stunned; she could hardly believe her ears.
"It was a life-swapping deal. I became him, protecting everything he had, while he bore the burden of everything." Mikey dyed his hair white, becoming Isana, while Isana dyed her hair blonde, becoming Mikey. Isana said sadly, "These years with you were the best time of my life." Becoming Mikey meant possessing everything that originally belonged to Mikey: friends, the person he loved, a new life. But the more he indulged in these things, the more pain he felt. None of this truly belonged to him; he was like a thief afraid of being discovered, hiding this secret.
Yuko's ears were ringing, and her mind went completely blank. What was Isana saying?
"I'm sorry." Isana repeated his apology, holding her tightly. It was the last time he could hold Yuko like this. He kissed Yuko's forehead tenderly, a tear sliding down his cheek. "Go find him, Yuko. This time, it's your turn to be the hero."
Yuko and Takedo went to find Brahma.
Yuko encountered Santu on her way upstairs. To cover her martial arts performance, she engaged Santu in a sword duel. Yuko lamented the misfortune of her sect and declared that she would cleanse it of its filth. Santu's right hand was severed. In his rage, he fired a gun, but Yuko remained calm. "You've truly disappointed me," she said, before finishing him off with a single blow. She turned and continued on her way, leaving specks of blood on the stairs.
At this moment, Takedo was knocked unconscious by Mikey's gun. Yuko found Mikey on the rooftop and discovered that he was still wearing the ring. She then realized that he had taken the ring years ago and understood that Isana's words were true. However, her time was running out. Blood was flowing from her abdomen and even seeped through her coat. Mikey noticed something was wrong and roared at her, asking why she had come, when it was already the best ending.
Yuko, on her deathbed, only managed to say, "No, you have to believe... you have to believe..." before passing away in his arms.
In despair, Mikey grabbed her body and jumped off the building, but Wu Dao stopped him.
Time shifts back to the main storyline
Wudao sought out Yuko again. Only then did Yuko realize that one person couldn't accomplish anything; one had to rely on the strength of everyone.
With everyone's help, they cleaned up the mess. During this time, Mikey's dark side flared up, and Mikey once again decided to break ties with everyone.
And then he got into a fight with Dong Wanzhong. Yuko rushed to the scene after hearing the news. She looked at him without any surprise, because she had already seen Mikey's dark side, which was like an abyss of quagmire.
How terrifying.
But... Yuko bit her lip, clenched her fists so tightly her nails seemed to pierce her palms. Her reason told her she couldn't go over there, but her legs seemed to disobey her and ran towards him on their own, hugging Manjiro tightly from behind, shouting at the top of her lungs, "No!"
"Please..." Yuko's tears had already started flowing without her noticing.
The person she was holding had lifeless eyes like polar ice, as if just touching them would freeze them.
"Yuko!" someone called out.
Yuko was restrained by Mikey, kneeling on the ground with his collar in his hand. Her hands were still tightly gripping his arm, and she stubbornly met his gaze even when faced with his cold and empty eyes.
She told herself that she couldn't back down. Yuko stood up tremblingly, her knees bleeding from the friction, but she didn't even notice.
"Invincible Mikey, I've always felt that title is cruel."
"Invincible by one person?"
"You are clearly most afraid of being alone."
“You clearly love doing silly things with everyone.” Yuko hugged Mikey tightly again, her face pressed against his chest, tears streaming down her face. “Can we…can we try just once, starting now, to overcome ourselves?”
Mikey tried to break free from her again, and his first words to her were: "Do you want to die?"
Yuko sobbed uncontrollably. She was terrified, not of getting hurt, but of losing him. She could only hold him tightly with all her might and plead with him, "Please... Manjiro, don't give up."
Don't give up...
Don't give up.
'Snap!' Mikey seemed to hear a sound.
The barrier I had built in my heart began to crack, and blinding light shone through the cracks.
But hadn't he already decided to cut off everything to protect everyone?
Was he wrong?
Was he...wrong?
Mikey looked up at his surroundings, at his fallen and injured companions: Kenji, Changdi, Chifuyu, Ichigo, Sangu, Bajie, Apa… He then looked down at the girl he was holding tightly. Her slender arms seemed as if they could be broken with the slightest touch, but at this moment they were like an indestructible celestial maiden's feathered robe, firmly holding him as he sank alone in the swamp, preventing him from falling.
Mikey murmured, "Why... why did you have to find out?"
Yuko choked back tears as she replied, "Because I already knew you were a bad guy."
Mikey fell silent. She was right. He had been unfriendly to her from the start, targeting her, scaring her, and teasing her, but every time she forgave him and stood by his side. Just like she had once said.
"Your dream is to protect everyone, but who will protect you? There's really no other way, I'll protect you from now on."
He clenched his fists, his blood roaring and coursing through his body.
In that swampy heartland, the pitiful and frail saplings suddenly sprang up, their branches spreading out to block out the sun. The green grass spread like ink spreading, covering the entire swamp in the blink of an eye.
Under the bright sunshine and dappled shadows, a serene young girl curled up against a giant tree, taking a short rest.
That was the girl he loved.
I also want to protect you forever.
I also really want to stay with everyone.
But can I really do it?
Why do you believe in me so firmly...?
Why do you hug me even when you push me away...?
You said you'd protect me, but you're so weak, are you stupid...?
"I admit defeat." He lowered his head and bowed, putting one arm around her waist, burying his head in the crook of her neck, and whispered, "I'm sorry."
Yuko's tears flowed even more fiercely because she realized that Manjiro was crying too. All her fear and sadness vanished in an instant. Her lover, lost in time, had finally been found again, which made her burst into tears.
Yuko choked up as she said, "I need to apologize to everyone properly."
"Um."
"You can't keep everything bottled up inside."
"Um."
"I'm really, really sad that we can't talk about breaking up anymore."
"……Um."
They were like lost children who had finally found their way home after going through countless hardships; at this moment, it didn't matter if they cried all their tears.
When the others saw that Mikey had finally returned to his original self, they all burst into tears of joy. Draken, clutching his stomach, got up and walked to Mikey's side: "Welcome back, Mikey."
"Ah, Kenji, yes..." Manjiro was punched in the face before he could finish speaking.
Before Draken could wipe away his tears, he angrily added, "And you, you bastard."
"Yeah! Mikey, you went way too far!" Despite being unable to get up, the man somehow found the strength to come over and punch Mikey in the face without any hesitation.
Mikey staggered after being punched from both sides.
Yuko smiled as she wiped away her tears and said, "Please include me too."
"Okay, Yuuko." Ichigo rubbed his fist and walked towards Mikey with a smile. Not only him, but Mitani and the others also chased after them.
"Hey, Yuko, aren't you on my side?!" Mikey yelled, running as he shouted.
Yuko smiled gently and replied, "I'm on the side of justice, don't worry, I'll help call an ambulance." This meant that even if everyone broke a few of your ribs, it wouldn't matter.
Mikey was stunned and could hardly believe his ears.
"Mikey, you stop right there!"
"that is!"
"Just take the beating obediently!"
"I took several of your full-force attacks!"
"What do you mean by a full-force attack? If I used my full strength, you would obviously be dead, okay?" Mikey was being chased and jumping around, but he still had time to turn around and argue with them.
Yuko watched them playfully bickering, tears streaming down her face as she laughed.
Draken and the field stood beside her, laughing non-stop, and even cheering for Yihu and the others.
Need we thank you? No need for such nonsense. They both tacitly agreed that the gratitude would be enough to keep in their hearts.
This concludes the story.
Actually, there was another side story planned, in which Yuko never forgot the setting of precognitive dreams from the very beginning. She did not appear and had any interaction with anyone. She kidnapped and controlled Hanma and Kisaki in advance. One of them was a warrior and the other was a strategist who followed Yuko. She made them get along with Mikey and the others. Mikey did not become a vegetable. Yuko avoided all risks for them and silently watched them realize their dreams.
At Emma and Longjian's wedding, Yuko couldn't resist coming to give a gift. Nono, who was in charge of registration, and the venue staff asked her name. Yuko explained that she was just a classmate from junior high school who had received help from Emma. She said that she had to leave soon and would not be attending the wedding.
So he left, and just then Mikey and Wudao and the others walked towards him, and the two met face to face. But because they didn't know each other, Mikey just felt inexplicably familiar. Looking at her back, the person next to him asked him what was wrong, and he said, "Have I seen this person before?" Mitani Kazutora felt the same way. Kazutora said that he seemed to have always seen a black car by the roadside before, and he could vaguely see a woman through the window.
But because the wedding was about to begin, everyone pulled Mikey away.
Yuko was terrified and quickly got off the elevator and ran away.
Then Mikey chased after her, following Yuko's retreating figure at the hotel lobby entrance, asking her who she was.
Yuko simply called out to Hanma and Kisaki, who were waiting at the door, and told them she had handed the items over to them. Then she walked out without looking back.
Hanma and Kisaki stated that although they were friends, they would not allow anyone to harass the young lady, not even Mikey, and then took action after saying sorry.
But the two of them still couldn't beat Mikey, and Mikey finally stopped Yuko just before she got into the car.
"Who are you?"
Tell me who you are?
“That’s not important,” Yuko replied, her back turned.
Mikey had a headache from thinking too hard, and then, as if his soul had been frozen, he murmured something.
"You are...y"
No! Don't call out that name! Yuko sensed something was wrong and turned to stop him.
When Mikey saw her face, it was as if a reincarnated person had been suddenly instilled with memories of a past life. Tears streamed down his face. "Yuko."
Yuko always believed that rebirth was an equal exchange. Mikey's Black Rumble was a side effect of Shinichiro's rebirth and the assistance of the Three Paths, and the same logic applied to her, who had taken on all the consequences. If she were involved with Mikey and the others, it would surely bring disaster upon Mikey. Feeling that all her previous efforts had been in vain, Yuko could only sadly say, "Why did I have to remember this..."
Mikey, who already understood everything, stepped forward, hugged her, and asked her why she had taken on all of this, calling her a fool.
At that moment, an earthquake struck, and the whole world shook.
Before the building collapsed, Mikey shielded her and told her to trust him, that this time it was his turn to protect everyone.
Just like in the original work, young Mikey gained all his memories, including martial arts for some reason, and the two of them happily spent time together in front of their house.
Shinichiro came out and asked them what they were arguing about at the door, saying that he had a guest coming, and that the guest had a bad temper, so they should be careful not to get beaten up.
Just then, a black car drove up, and everyone looked over.
Genji got out of the passenger seat and greeted Shinichiro first.
Shinichiro asked him why he had come in the family car, which was unusual for him, expressing his surprise at the young master's sudden arrival.
Genji scratched his head: My sister insisted on coming along; she's been crying and making a fuss at home for a long time. (The old man ordered him to take his sister with him when he went out, and forbade him from riding his motorcycle.)
So, under everyone's gaze, Genji lifted Yuko down from the back seat. Yuko, hiding in her brother's arms, looked timidly at everyone. She didn't know why she felt like following her brother, but she was also a little embarrassed and shy.
Mikey and Takedo saw Yuko and called her name in unison.
"Yuko!"
Yuko asked in confusion, "Do you know me?" She wondered why she had never seen these two people before. Could it be that she had met them before but had forgotten?
The two realized she had no memory of her past. So they came up with all sorts of lame excuses, which only made Yuko laugh at their flustered state.
Mikey stepped forward: "Nice to meet you, my name is Sano Manjiro."
Yuko tugged at her brother's collar, and Genji put her down. Yuko looked at him, blushing, and said, "Nice to meet you. My name is Takiya Yuko."
Mikey immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her towards home: "Let's go, everyone's waiting."
Emma, Ye Ye, Changdi, Santu, and Qian Shou were all looking in this direction from the courtyard.
Genji angrily cursed the brat, but Shinichiro stopped him with both hands and feet, saying that children have their own world, blah blah blah. In his heart, he thought to himself, "This is all I can do for you, Manjiro-nii."
Mikey grabbed Yuko's hand and ran towards the others.
