Utter humiliation

Utter humiliation

Yuko, sitting on the motorcycle, was filled with regret!

Her current situation is a result of her giving in once.

Sano Manjiro drives even more aggressively than Ichiko, practically revving the engine to its limit.

No wonder he said he probably needed the helmet more!

Helmets are completely useless in this situation, aren't they? Yuko thinks she might need a baseball bat to knock her out so she wouldn't have to face the fear brought on by this extreme speed.

dad!

elder brother!

Jesus!

Ebisu!

Kami SAMA!

Yuko, an atheist, has even begun to go insane, praying to all sorts of gods for protection.

Yuko: I feel like I'm flying, I hope I'm alright. (JPG)

"We're here. You should let go now, right?" Mikey had already slowed down, but she didn't seem to realize it because she was so frightened at the beginning. She was holding him like a drowning person, and her tears had soaked his special forces uniform.

He looked up at the sky helplessly. This guy is so pathetic. It's just a motorcycle ride.

Upon hearing his words, the spineless Yuko uttered an even more pathetic remark: "I'm sorry, I don't think I have any strength left..."

Because of her nervousness and fear, she forgot the rule she had always followed: not to affect the knight. She hugged his waist, and because of the excessive force and muscle tension, she was unable to relax for a moment.

Mikey: ...

Normally, if the person in the back seat doesn't get off first, the person in the front seat can't get off either. But Mikey had his way. He first lowered the footrest of the car, stabilized himself with his left foot, and then used his right leg to pull her off the seat by clamping her waist with his thigh and calf. Yuko is 158 cm tall and weighs 82 kg, and he was able to lift her off the seat with just one leg.

Yuko, having gotten off the bus and settled in, stared blankly around. Her gaze became even more vacant. Although she had stopped crying, her voice was still nasal: "Sano-kun, this doesn't seem to be my home..."

Mikey: ...

Yuko: ...

After a moment of silence, Mikey asked her, "Why didn't you say so sooner?"

Yuko thought to herself that she was almost scared out of her wits and didn't dare to open her eyes to see where she was going. And who knew how she remembered 3-chome as 1-chome when Emma had told her the address several times. But she didn't dare to talk back to him, so she could only apologize softly, "I'm sorry."

With no other option, the two had to ride their bikes to the correct place again.

Yuko sat behind him, only daring to show her aggrieved expression when he couldn't see her. When Mikey started, the sound of the ignition made Yuko reflexively tense. She couldn't help but lean forward slightly, pleading, "Could you drive slower... I'm really scared..."

Mikey felt as if his heart had been brushed by a feather; the girl's trembling voice seemed to make his heart tremble along with it.

He thought she must be a person who loves to act coquettishly, and is very good at it.

But Sano Manjiro wasn't buying it.

"Hmm, I won't fall for that," he thought.

But he didn't even exceed 40 miles per hour.

"That's because I'm afraid she'll start crying again and get my clothes dirty with snot," Mikey explained to himself.

Because of this defiant attitude, Mikey said to Yuko, who had gotten off the bus, after arriving at the correct location, "Kenja won't like you." His tone was stiff and carried a hint of defiance.

Yuko understood in a flash as she took off her helmet.

Oh, I see... He actually thought I liked Draken-kun.

This is simply... an utter disgrace!

Yuko's emotions were clearly visible; she was trembling with anger, but quickly composed herself. She shoved the helmet into his arms and said in a cold yet polite tone, "Thank you for taking me home, and thank you for your advice."

Without even looking at his expression, she opened the door and went inside. The gatekeeper greeted her, but Yuko didn't respond; she just stormed off in one direction.

Mikey, who was left outside the door, paused for a moment.

Did I guess wrong?

Why does she blush and look shy when she sees Jianzai?

She's really angry; she doesn't even use honorifics anymore. Haha, so this is what she looks like when she's angry.

But if Jianzi and Emma find out, they'll probably think I'm meddling. Being a good older brother and a good friend is really hard. I'm never going to bother them again.

After thinking this through, he rode his Babu back home.

On the other side, Yuko was still wearing her school uniform and holding a bamboo sword.

"Drink!" he shouted as he slashed at the air as if he were fighting an imaginary enemy.

Upon hearing the news, Takiya Hideo hid outside the door, peeked inside, and then asked the messenger, "Has she been here since she came back?"

The other party replied, "Yes, Ms. Yuko has been practicing for ten minutes and hasn't even changed her clothes."

“It’s been almost five years, hasn’t Yuko touched the bamboo sword again.” The second-in-command, Sugawara, was also there. He had been playing chess with the leader when he was notified, and had come over out of curiosity.

Takiya Hideo stroked his beard and chuckled, "Yeah. I don't know who it is, but to provoke Yuko into picking up the bamboo sword again, they've got some skill."

Sugawara: "Yuko is so angry, and you can still laugh."

Takiya Hideo: "Of course I'm going to laugh. Do you remember that Yuko's former nanny was also a woman named Shimizu?"

Sugawara recalled that there was indeed such a person, who always wore a cross necklace, was polite and had a gentle smile as if she had no temper, and was also quite good-looking. In short, "she was a good woman."

Takiya Hideo said, "Yuko was a very bold child when she was little, not even afraid of insects. She was lively, cheerful, and full of confidence. I am also very grateful to Shimizu for protecting Yuko when she was kidnapped, and I also regret her death. Afterwards, I gave her family compensation and avenged her. However, she shouldn't have died in front of Yuko. This woman's death broke Yuko's backbone!"

That last sentence almost made Takiya Hideo grit his teeth in hatred. He remembered that before this, when Yuko was about five or six years old, some of her classmates said some very rude things to her out of jealousy or some other boredom. The next day, Yuko took her little bamboo sword to school and beat up all of them.

Now, "I'm sorry" is Yuko's catchphrase, and she dares not lose her temper easily. She completely listens to Shimizu's advice, such as "If someone slaps your left cheek, turn the other cheek to them," and "If someone forces you to walk one mile, continue to walk the second mile with them," replacing refusal with suffering.

And she was unaware of it; she was very good at making excuses for herself, such as it was to repay a debt of gratitude, it was someone's kindness, it was what she should do.

He hoped that Yuko would grow up to be a kind and upright girl, but not the kind of fool who takes all the blame upon herself, foolishly sacrifices for others, and lets herself be bullied.

Sugawara, however, felt that he was exaggerating, and besides, he couldn't see anything wrong with Yuko. So he said, "That's going too far, brother. Yuko is perfectly fine now, isn't she?"

Takiya Hideo thought to himself, "Of course you think obedient women are better if they're not your daughter." He immediately pulled Sugawara inside and said, "Yuko, go change your clothes and protective gear. Your Uncle Sugawara said he wants to spar with you. He even boasted that he doesn't need protective gear and that you don't need to be polite to him."

"Big brother, you!" Sugawara, who had been forcibly dragged there, never expected him to pull this tactic.

"Thank you for your trouble." Yuko was still angry and her expression was gloomy, but she still bowed to him.

"Damn it, Yuko looks so scary when she's angry! What kind of bastard did this to deserve this? Why do I have to suffer this?" Sugawara wailed inwardly. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his boss grinning mischievously, so he said to Yuko in a very serious tone, "Yuko, actually, your older brother also wanted to be your sparring partner, but he's shy, so he dragged me along."

Upon hearing this, Yuko looked at her father with a gloomy expression and did the same: "Then I'll leave it to you, Dad."

Takiya Hideo: ...

An hour later, two middle-aged men, both nearing fifty, sat on the ground with bumps on their heads and covered in sweat, their arms crossed. The younger man was kneading hard-boiled eggs for them.

"You little brat, you actually betrayed your older brother!" Takiya Hideo said through gritted teeth.

"Sharing joys and sorrows, isn't that what you said back then, brother?" Sugawara, who had just finished speaking, was squeaking as an egg rolled around on him. "Has Yuko really not touched a bamboo sword for five or six years? How is she still so skilled?"

"Nonsense, don't you know whose child it is?" Takiya Hideo said with a proud expression.

Sugawara thought to himself, "I know you're good with your fists, but your swordsmanship is worse than mine. How dare you do that?"

Yuko, also drenched in sweat and with her hair plastered to her face as if she'd been drenched, knelt before them, sitting upright. She had acted rashly in her anger, and now, having regained her composure, she felt uneasy. She knew she had to apologize with a deep bow, so Yuko prostrated herself on the ground: "I'm sorry!"

"Raise your head, Yuko! How can the victor hang his head!" Takiya Hideo scolded her.

"Why are you so fierce? Yuko, don't mind your brother, he's going through menopause." Sugawara continued, "So who made our Yuko so angry? Uncle can help you."

"Stop talking nonsense, Sugawara." Takiya Hideo cursed, looking at his daughter: "Take care of your own problems. Even kindergarten kids understand this."

Yuko straightened up, her eyes clearer than ever. She had already figured things out while venting. In this world, there are those who are disliked for no reason, and there are those who are disliked for a reason. Now that she knew the reason and had been wronged, she would clear her name and clearly state her position to the other person, regardless of whether they believed her or not. She couldn't just leave without explaining herself. It was truly wrong of her to get angry over something like this and cause her family worry.

Yuko crawled over and gently hugged her father: "Thank you, Dad. I'm sorry for making you worry."

Takiya Hideo's heart softened instantly, and he could no longer maintain his strict fatherly image. He lovingly patted Yuko's head and said, "Take a good bath and get some sleep."

"Hmm." Yuko smiled, stood up, and turned back as she walked out of the room. "But Dad and Uncle Sugawara, you really should get some exercise." Then she walked away cheerfully.

After she left, the two middle-aged men immediately collapsed to the ground.

I don't know how long it's been since I exercised like this. I can barely lift my arms anymore. I guess I have to admit I'm getting old.

They looked at each other, perhaps they really did need to exercise, just as Yuko said?
