Chapter 44 The Cursing Ji Huaichuan

As they were talking, the rain stopped and a few people decided to spend the night there, carrying their backpacks and looking for a place to camp.

"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed there was such a large rainforest in the desert!"

"Who says it isn't?"

“…”

While they were chatting, the tents were set up. Ji Huaichuan was so excited that he couldn't sleep well and rolled around in the tent.

"It's time for bed."

"No, I can't sleep. I haven't slept for so many years, and now I'm not sleepy at all!"

"..." Zhang Qiling felt a little helpless as he looked at Ji Huaichuan who refused to sleep well no matter what.

Ji Huaichuan suddenly sat up and came close to Zhang Qiling, "Qiling baby! Should we go catch some snakes to play with?"

"They are afraid of snakes..." Zhang Qiling hesitated.

"Well... let's not bring them to the camp. Let's stay nearby. Just imagine, a pretty little snake wrapped around your wrist, acting cute, and even swiping its tail across your palm... Isn't that exciting? Let's go~"

Ji Huaichuan coaxed and dragged Zhang Qiling away quietly, and caught two small green snakes on a tree not far from the camp. They were about the thickness of two fingers and were still underage.

"Zhang Qiling, go on!"

Ji Huaichuan threw one snake from the tree to Zhang Qiling, then grabbed another and jumped off the tree. Zhang Qiling stepped forward to support him for fear that he would fall, and then returned the snake in his hand to Ji Huaichuan. He was really not interested in this thing. If it weren't for the cute look in Ji Huaichuan's eyes when he was looking at him just now, he would not have come out.

"The two I caught were a pair. When I went up there, they were still dating."

Ji Huaichuan grabbed the heads of the two little snakes and brought them close together, as if kissing them. The two little snakes seemed to be frightened by the aura of Ji Huaichuan. They wrapped themselves around his wrists and dared not move, being very obedient.

Zhang Qiling watched Ji Huaichuan stroking the snake by himself, and then secretly pulled his hair from time to time. Zhang Qiling thought he was doing it very secretly, but he didn't know that his little action had already been discovered by Ji Huaichuan.

Finally, Ji Huaichuan let go of the two little snakes until he was so sleepy that he could not open his eyes, and Zhang Qiling took them back.

Two snakes: You're so arrogant! You couldn't sleep so you caught us for fun! (▼ヘ▼#)

The morning light opened the curtain, and raindrops slid down from the leaves. The fat man turned over and hugged Wuxie, but Wuxie pushed him out of the tent.

The fat man woke up slowly, but found that the tent where Zhang Qiling and Ji Huaichuan originally lived was open, and there was no one inside.

"Wake up, naive! This is shameful!"

The sound woke Wuxie, Aning and Pan Zi up as well.

"Who's lost?"

"Both the little brother and Xiao Chuan'er are lost."

After looking around, I found that the two people had already gone ahead to explore the way hand in hand.

"Brother, your habit of running away without saying a word is still the same as before." The fat man sighed.

"It's different now. Before, he was the only one in his world, but now there's one more person." Wu Xie patted the fat man's shoulder, "Hurry up and pack your things. We'll continue on our journey later!"

"Hey? A big snake?" Ji Huaichuan squatted on the ground and pulled away the leaves covering the ground, revealing the corpse of a snake that had been dried by the wind.

"It's been dead for a long time." Zhang Qiling also moved away the surrounding leaves.

When Ji Huaichuan heard what Zhang Qiling said, he raised his eyebrows, as if he had thought of something, and then stretched out his hand, ready to reach into the snake's body.

Zhang Qiling held down Ji Huaichuan's disobedient hand in time, took off his gloves and was about to cut his own hand with a knife, but Ji Huaichuan snatched the knife away.

"Have you forgotten what I do? Do I need you to bleed me? Put on your gloves!"

Ji Huaichuan rarely scolded Zhang Qiling. Naturally, Zhang Qiling put on his gloves obediently and stopped moving. After a long time, he forgot about it. This person couldn't bear to see him get hurt, so he told him to be careful next time. Zhang Qiling didn't say anything else and quietly moved away from the corpse.

"I've told you so many times, but you never listened. You have no idea what your physical condition is. If you really don't take it to heart, I won't say anything more in the future. It would only make me look like I'm being nosy if I bothered you for no reason."

Ji Huaichuan cursed and took out a small bottle from his jacket pocket. The bottle contained green liquid. He dripped a few drops on the hole of the snake's trunk, and a large number of ticks swarmed out.

"Isn't this better than your blood? I don't have what I want, so why can't you just ask me?" After saying that, Ji Huaichuan threw the small bottle to Zhang Qiling and glanced at him.

Zhang Qiling didn't dare to speak from beginning to end. After taking the small bottle, he acted quietly as if he was invisible. Ji Huaichuan dug along the hole for a long time, took out an old-fashioned flashlight, dug around again, and pulled out a hand bone.

"Wow, this snake eats everything, it's not picky at all... I guess there's still something inside. Okay, I won't dig it out anymore. Let Wuxie and the others come."

As he spoke, Ji Huaichuan stood up, clapped his hands, and prepared to go back. Zhang Qiling followed him very tactfully and took out a handkerchief from her bag and handed it to Ji Huaichuan.

"Hey, why does Patriarch Zhang still carry this thing with him? It can't even cut your palm." Ji Huaichuan took the handkerchief and continued to be sarcastic.

"I won't do it next time." Zhang Qiling's voice was so soft that Ji Huaichuan almost couldn't hear it.

"There's a next time?"

"there is none left."

Ji Huaichuan snorted lightly, "That's more like it."

When Ji Huaichuan and Zhang Qiling came back, Wuxie and the others had already packed up.

"Brother, Xiaochuan'er, you are back! Did you find anything?" Wuxie asked.

"There is a big snake corpse in front. It has been dead for a long time. Some things have been dug out. You can go and take a look." Ji Huaichuan said.

"good"

"There were a bunch of ticks in it before, but they have run away." Ji Huaichuan leaned against a tree trunk nearby, staying away from the corpse.

"So this is... a snake eating a human, or a tick eating a snake? This thing is a woman's bone..." The fat man fiddled with the human bones in his hand.

"This isn't a tourist attraction. Anyone who comes here fully equipped is either an archaeologist or a miner. But there's another possibility... This is Chen Wenjing's man!" Wuxie analyzed.

"Let's take everything out of this snake's stomach and find out," Pan Zi said. "Young Master San, take a break. It's just a snake. I'll call you if anything happens!"

"Be careful!"

"Don't worry!"

In a few seconds, a big hole was dug on the ground. The logo of Aning's company was found in the snake's corpse, and then a string of ten-yuan copper coins exactly the same as the one on Aning's wrist was found.

"Your body." Zhang Qiling said.

This was not good news. As several people were arguing about the truth of the matter, they heard a noise behind them.

Pan Zi's face changed and he stared at Wuxie's back. Wuxie also realized that something was wrong, so he stopped talking and slowly turned around. He saw a huge snake head sticking out from the tree that Ji Huaichuan was leaning against, staring at them fiercely.

"Xiao Chuan'er!" Wuxie called softly.

"Ah? What's wrong? Why is there suddenly such a big patch of cloud?" Ji Huaichuan raised his head and said.

The big snake suddenly opened its mouth and attacked Ji Huaichuan.
