Chapter 162 Mood Turns from Light Rain to Sunny

Chapter 162 Mood Turns from Light Rain to Sunny

Yan Kui turned off the lights, placed her phone on the stand to charge, and with the screen angle changed, it seemed as if Wei Yin had put the phone in the pocket on the chest of his suit.

Yan Kui could see him leave the house, get into the car, and even see the scenery in front of the car and the documents in Wei Yin's hand.

Midway through, Wei Yin took out his phone and glanced at it, only to find that Yan Kui's side was still completely dark, so he put his phone back into his chest pocket.

As Yan Kui watched him busily signing various documents and the constantly changing meeting room on the computer, she gradually fell asleep.

Wei Yin kept a close eye on his phone, afraid that he might accidentally press the hang-up button, and even had someone buy him an original power bank to keep it charging.

…………

When Yan Kui woke up, the screen was still lit up.

The video then showed Wei Yin himself diligently typing on the keyboard.

Yan Kui calmed herself down and reached out to turn on the bedside lamp.

Almost the instant the desk lamp turned on, Wei Yin looked up.

Seeing that Yan Kui was awake, he turned off the mute function and asked gently, "Did you sleep well?"

Yan Kui didn't know what was wrong with her. She had just suspected Wei Yin yesterday, but he wasn't angry. Instead, he kept comforting her and putting her feelings first.

She felt like she was spoiled and a bit demanding.

Wei Yin's emotions and thoughts were very stable, but Yan Kui would occasionally have a lot of messy thoughts running rampant in her mind.

If she couldn't control herself, she would start to make things difficult for Wei.

Yan Kui's sleepy voice came through the phone: "Do you think I'm being dramatic?"

Yan Kui didn't actually want things to be this way.

Upon hearing this, Wei Yin picked up his phone, his handsome and mature features magnified on the screen: "Yan Kui, you are very good."

"What…?"

"Everyone has their own blunt and acute angles in their personality. You may not like yourself like this now, but I think it's fine."

"If you're unhappy, you'll tell me right away, and if you have any questions, you'll express them directly without any hesitation."

"This is very rare."

Yan Kui was a little stunned, then couldn't help but raise the corners of her lips.

Yan Kui thought that as long as Wei Yin thought it was good, that was fine.

Because she is Wei Yin's girlfriend, not someone else's.

Suddenly, Yan Kui's mood brightened from a light drizzle to sunny skies. She got up and drew back the curtains. Summer had arrived in Nanshi. The emerald green leaves swayed in the wind outside the window, gently tapping against the bedroom glass.

Yan Kui picked up her phone, and Yan Sheng's call suddenly popped up at the top of the screen.

Yan Kui said to Wei Yin in a flustered manner, "I need to take a call."

After saying that, he hung up the video call, and it's unclear whether Wei Yin heard it or not.

As soon as I answered the phone, Yan Sheng's voice came through: "Sis, when are you coming back to Beishi?"

"I don't know yet, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing major. Fang Tiantian said she wanted to invite everyone to go out and have fun, but you and your brother-in-law haven't been in Taipei. So she wanted to ask when you would be free."

Yan Kui hadn't expected her younger brother and Fang Tiantian to be so close now, and teased, "Why doesn't she come and ask herself?"

"She said her brother forbade her from bothering you and your brother-in-law, so she asked me to come and ask."

Yan Kui couldn't give a definite reply time yet: "I'm going to the US in a couple of days. Let's decide when Wei Yin and I get back."

After Yan Kui finished speaking, Yan Sheng hesitated for a moment.

"Xiao Sheng, just say what you have to say."

Yan Kui felt that she understood her younger brother quite well now.

"Sis, Fang Tiantian said if you can't confirm the time, you should let me go to the amusement park with her."

"Sis, can I go?"

Upon hearing this, Yan Kui sighed.

He said solemnly, "Xiao Sheng, you are an adult now. You can make decisions about anything that concerns you, let alone something as simple as going out to play."

"Sis, I just thought Fang Tiantian was the younger sister of your and your brother-in-law's friend, so I thought it would be better to ask you about it."

Yan Kui understood Yan Sheng's meaning and began to worry about how to raise her sensitive and introverted younger brother.
