Chapter 175 cannot be transmitted for the time being.

After saying those words, Wei Yin began to regret it.

That's too casual.

But he still couldn't resist wanting to hear Yan Kui's answer.

Yan Kui froze, her fingers, which had been gripping Wei Yin's large hand, loosened, her mind a jumbled mess.

She and Wei Yin had been dating for less than a year and had never thought about marriage.

Call her irresponsible or heartless if you will.

She had never even imagined marrying Wei Yin now.

Yan Kui felt that she had just graduated and her career was just starting. Wei Yin was very, very good to her, but it seemed that most people in love were like that at the beginning.

If Wei Yin changes after marriage, can she easily get a divorce?

As the car drove into the underground parking garage, Wei Yin looked at the person standing beside him in a daze, and the boiling blood in his heart cooled down.

I feel a tightness in my chest.

Wei Yin parked the car, withdrew the hand he had been holding, and pinched Yan Kui's cheek.

"Were you scared?"

Yan Kui raised her eyes and gazed into Wei Yin's eyes.

They seem quite disappointed.

Yan Kui lowered her head: "Wei Yin, I..."

Before Yan Kui could finish speaking, Wei Yin interrupted her: "Get out of the car, it's late."

Seeing Wei Yin get out of the car first, Yan Kui pursed her lips, unbuckled her seatbelt, and followed him out.

On the way back to their room, no one spoke.

After taking a shower, Yan Kui returned to her room and tossed and turned in bed, while Wei Yin continued working in the study.

Turning to look at the well-maintained little garden on the balcony, Yan Kui kept recalling Wei Yin's words in the car earlier that day: "Do you want to marry me?"

Yan Kui couldn't help but sigh. What was it that made her feel something was wrong?

Was it because Wei Yin hadn't even proposed, and the question was too casual?

Or did he never say he loved her?

Or perhaps they were afraid that Wei Yin would change his mind after marriage?

Yan Kui closed her eyes in deep thought; this behavior was so unlike her...

Suddenly, the room door was pushed open.

Yan Kui remained lying on her side, stiff and motionless.

The bedside lamp was dimly lit, and Yan Kui closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep.

When Wei entered the room, he found that the person on the bed had their back to the door and appeared to be asleep.

After taking a shower, Wei Yin stood by the bed when he came out, hesitating whether to go to another room to sleep.

Looking at the curled-up shape of the blankets, Yan Kui's long black hair was scattered around the pillow. She seemed to be preoccupied, with her legs bent in front of her and curled up in a ball.

With a sigh, she finally tiptoed into bed.

Yan Kui waited for him to get into bed, mentally counting down the days: Wei Yin returned to his room unusually late today, took a long time to shower, and even sighed before getting into bed.

And another thing, he didn't even hug her.

Yan Kui suddenly felt down; her silence today seemed to have upset Wei Yin.

A large hand reached over my head and turned off the bedside lamp.

The darkness made the room exceptionally quiet, and Yan Kui could clearly sense the presence of the person behind her through the scorching heat.

Wei Yin stared at her round back of the head for a long time, as if trying to see through what Yan Kui was thinking.

He was just reflecting on himself in his study.

Such words are too casual. Besides, Yan Kui has just graduated, and he seems a bit anxious, eager to tie the person to his side immediately.

Did I offend her?

But Yan Kui was acting very strangely; she actually remained silent.

This was more painful for Wei Yin than being rejected.

Suddenly, a light rain began to fall outside the window, the sound of raindrops hitting the windowpane keeping Yan Kui awake.

Yan Kui wondered if she should apologize first.

But what did she do wrong?

Did she not accept Wei Yin's marriage proposal immediately?

But Wei Yin didn't even prepare flowers and a ring, so how could he propose to her?

As Yan Kui thought about it, she realized that Wei Yin was wrong.

She opened her eyes in the darkness, quietly turned over and glared at Wei Yin: What a stingy man.

The rain grew heavier, and the two people, who were usually straightforward, used silence to communicate because they couldn't convey their feelings and were uncertain about the future.
