Chapter 250 The Moment You Take the Initiative
Fang Tiantian didn't cry out loud, but tears kept streaming down her face from her large, dark eyes.
Fang Yue picked up the pen, afraid that he would soften his heart and not look at Fang Tiantian.
The ink from the pen tip flowed gracefully across the document.
Fang Yue then said, "Don't ask Yan Sheng. I'll tell you when he's good enough for you."
Fang Tiantian pouted and nodded quietly.
He then got up and left the study, and after returning to his room, he couldn't hold back his tears any longer and burst into tears.
The usually carefree young lady was now filled with the image of Yan Sheng's reserved and somewhat timid eyes when she first met him.
Fang Tiantian knew that she had taken everything for granted.
But Yan Sheng is really good. Just like her brother said, she shouldn't chase after him, so she'll wait a little longer.
The phone screen was still lit, displaying Yan Sheng's chat box. The last sentence of the conversation was a message Yan Sheng had just sent.
Fang Tiantian's eyes were red and swollen.
But his fingers were tapping rapidly on the screen.
"I need to prepare for my exam tomorrow, you get some rest."
Wishing the most handsome Sheng-gege the best of luck on his exams!
"Looking forward to your good news!"
Yan Sheng saw the message, sent her a picture of Yan Xiaotian, and replied:
"Sweetie, then Sweetie and I wish you happiness."
…………
The next day.
Yan Sheng got up early after washing up. Aunt Min had already prepared breakfast for him and came over with a bowl of warmed milk: "Young master, today is the college entrance examination. If there's anything you want to eat, just tell Aunt Min."
Yan Sheng smiled and nodded gratefully, "Okay, thank you, Aunt Min."
Yan Kui, unusually, got up very early, saying she would take him to school, but Yan Sheng used the excuse of road closures today to ride his own bicycle out instead.
"Sis, you and your husband can pick me up on the day you finish your exams."
Yan Kui stood at the door and waved to him. It was a June morning in Taipei, and the gardenias in the yard were in full bloom, but the fragrance was not strong. Only when the wind blew by could a faint, clean sweetness seep into the nostrils.
The boy's agile figure disappeared from the roadside outside the courtyard against the sunlight, and suddenly a pair of large hands pinched Yan Kui's cheeks.
Wei Yin bent down, resting his chin on her head, and mischievously pressed his fingertips on her cheek: "After Xiao Sheng finishes his exams, ask him what major he likes."
Yan Kui looked up at him: "Do you have any suggestions?"
With a little more weight on his shoulders, Wei Yin lowered his arms, making it seem as if Yan Kui was carrying him, yet the weight he exerted was extremely light: "You need to know that Xiao Sheng is now a man with his own opinions."
Two days passed quickly.
Yan Kui hasn't gone anywhere these past two days; she's stayed home the whole time.
Wei Yin did manage to return to the company twice, until Yan Sheng finished his last exam. Huang Maomao drove his van to the most convenient spot at the main gate of the school.
Wei Yin and Yan Kui got out of the car and walked towards the school gate, which was then pushed open with a "whoosh".
Yan Sheng stepped out from the crowd, accompanied by the hottest wind of a summer afternoon.
The back of the school uniform shirt, so white it was almost blinding, was damp with sweat, and under the sunlight, it was rapidly radiating youthful energy.
Seeing Yan Kui waving at him from the opposite side, Yan Sheng started running. His soft black hair was blown back by the wind, revealing his smooth and full forehead.
"Sis! Brother-in-law! I've finished my exams!"
Yan Kui excitedly went up and gave him a big hug. She didn't want to cry, but when she touched the heat of Yan Sheng's back, she couldn't help but feel her eyes well up with tears.
Yan Sheng smiled contentedly and hugged her back tightly: "Sister, thank you."
