Chapter 257 A Likable Genius
Around 4 PM, Wei Yin drove to the building where Yan Kui's studio was located.
Just as Yan Kui came out, she received a call from the deliveryman.
"Madam, the flowers have been delivered to the first floor, but I don't have the access card and can't go up. Would you please come down and get them?"
Yan Kui responded twice on the phone, then slung her bag over her shoulder and went downstairs.
The roses, in blue and white, are packaged in a plain color. Perhaps because they are more expensive than those in other stores, the roses look very vibrant.
Wei Yingang had just parked his car downstairs when he saw Yan Kui take the flowers from the deliveryman next to her.
His handsome brows suddenly furrowed, and his previously expressionless face visibly darkened.
After Yan Kui accepted the bouquet, the deliveryman took out a flower-growing guide card from his bag and handed it to her. Yan Kui thanked him and happily carried the flowers to her car.
As soon as I got into the car, Wei Yin's deep voice came from beside me: "Who sent this?"
Seeing that his expression wasn't good, Yan Kui suddenly had a mischievous idea: "I don't know."
"You didn't know? You didn't know and still delivered it to your office building?"
"You didn't know you were accepting other people's flowers so casually. If you like them, I'll have someone plant them all behind the house another day."
Yan Kui acted as if she hadn't seen his expression: "So, do you think this flower is pretty?"
"It's ugly."
Wei Yin started the car in silence again, and after a long while, he finally replied, "Are you trying to drive me crazy?"
"Yan Kui, we just got our marriage certificate."
"These lousy flowers will die in a couple of days. You can throw them away now. I'll plant them for you all year round so you can see them every day!"
It was quite rare to see Wei Yin so jealous, Yan Kui thought.
"I think it looks pretty good."
"And it suits you perfectly."
Wei Yin was genuinely amused and exasperated: "Using flowers you gave to others, and saying they suit me? Yan Kui? Did you leave your brain at home?"
In the past, Yan Kui might have been a little afraid of his fierce expression.
But now Yan Kui doesn't find it scary at all; on the contrary, she thinks Wei Yin is getting cuter and cuter.
Wei Yin parked the car next to a trash can, and the passenger window rolled down quickly: "It's the most convenient time to throw it away now."
"Why would I throw it away!"
Wei Yin felt her temples throbbing: "Fine, then you can make me so angry that I'll become a widow."
Wei Yin closed the car window again and stepped on the gas to go home.
Yan Kui couldn't hold back any longer and hugged the flowers to her chest: "Wei Yin, why do you think someone else gave them to me?"
Wei Yin remained expressionless: "If I saw it with my own eyes and it wasn't a gift for you, then it was probably a gift for me?"
A sarcastic reply.
"Yes, it's a gift for you."
"This is a gift I'm giving you as a present for our first day of marriage."
Don't you think this blue and white color scheme goes well with your white shirt?
Wei Yin was stunned when he heard this. As soon as the car entered the residential area, he slammed on the brakes.
His gaze fell on the bouquet of rose petals that looked fragrant, and then he looked at Yan Kui's smiling face.
She asked in a sweet voice, "So? Do you like it? I've been looking for a long time."
"And it smells really good. Do you think anyone would accept my gift?"
Wei Yin's heart was pounding, and he frowned as he rubbed her face.
Are you deliberately messing with me?
Yan Kui did not deny it.
Wei Yin suddenly lowered his head and laughed, as if he wasn't the one who had just been brought to his senses by the bouquet of flowers.
"Honey, has anyone ever told you that you're a genius at being charming?"
