Chapter 273 Do you like children?
Wei Yin rested his chin on the top of her head and pulled her closer.

Yan Kui's eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings, but she didn't say she wanted to let go. Wei Yin let her have her way. Fortunately, the light wasn't too bright, and the people around them were far apart, so no one noticed.

The two people clasped hands naturally, bathed in a dim, yellowish light, which elongated, overlapped, and then separated their shadows.
As Yan Kui walked along a bamboo path, her high heels clicked crisply on the wooden covered bridge.
Suddenly, she spoke, asking uncertainly, "Wei Yin, do you like children?"
The man beside her suddenly stopped and looked down at her.
"How do you like it?"
Yan Kui nodded, her pupils sparkling: "Mm."
When he spoke to her, Wei Yin had a casual smile on his face, but his unfathomable eyes made his sharp features appear particularly calm: "I don't like it."
"But if the child is like you, I think I would be a good father."
Yan Kui blushed and scolded him, "Can't I be like you?"
"I was a troublemaker when I was young, so I probably wasn't very likable."
Wei Yin deliberately teased her.
Yan Kui was indeed amused by him and boasted, "Well, there's nothing I can do about it. I was very cute when I was little. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that everyone loved me."

Yan Kui's face flushed red, unable to believe that Wei Yin had actually spanked her in public.
"I'll report you for domestic violence, believe it or not! Put me down right now!"
Seeing her struggle, Wei Yin strode towards the room, trying to comfort her, "No one's here."
"Didn't you say you wanted to show me what you looked like when you were little?"
"There are no photos!" Yan Kui's voice rose an octave.
“I know, so we’ll build one, give birth to one like you, so I can see it anytime.”
"Take lots of photos then, as if they were of you when you were little, I agree."

Yan Kui was speechless at his robber logic.
He punched the man's back twice more with his fist. Unable to break free and afraid of being seen by passersby, he could only utter two words in what he thought was a vicious swear.
