Chapter 36 Beware of Him

Chapter 36 Beware of Him

Yan Kui was puzzled, and when she took a shower that night, she took a special look at the window.

"Nothing special, is it? It's just covered with frosted paper, isn't it?"

After saying that, he thought of Wei Yin's house across the street. Could they see something from outside?

So Yan Kui turned on the light, opened the window, and stuck her head out.

Then he turned around and reached inside, waving his hand around.

It would have been fine if it hadn't shaken, but once it did, Yan Kui was completely stunned.

The shape of the hand was clearly reflected on the glass by the light.

!!! !!! !!! !!!

"Who put on this pirated frosted wallpaper?! I'll kill them!!"

…………

Yan Sheng, far away in Yuan City, felt a chill run down his spine for some reason, and sneezed two or three times.

An older man working on the assembly line next to him asked with concern, "Have you caught a cold?"

Yan Sheng shook his head: "No, I guess he inhaled too much dust outside."

Wei Yin had just finished showering and returned to his room when Yan Kui looked up and saw Wei Yin in the room opposite.

Yan Kui recalled taking a bath here every day during this period, and sometimes she would narcissistically touch her proud breasts.

Her cheeks flushed instantly, and two red blushes spread from her ears to the tip of her nose like spilled rouge.

Unconsciously, she bit her lower lip, the cherry blossom color becoming even more crimson, trembling slightly with each breath.

Suddenly noticing the gaze, Yan Kui abruptly turned her face away, stray hairs slipping from her temples, revealing earlobes that were almost transparently red, like two coral beads adorning the snow.

"You...you saw it all...?"

Seeing her like this, Wei Yin coughed lightly, his fingers pressed to his lips, his gaze somewhat evasive: "I didn't see it."

Seeing him like this, Yan Kui spoke tremulously:

"You...you'd better...you'd better not have seen it..."

After saying that, he immediately closed the window and fled as if running away.

Seeing that the person had run away, Wei Yin simply drew the curtains and lay back on the bed, covering his dark eyes, which held a hint of ambiguity, with his large hand.

He sighed and muttered to himself, "I've already seen that."

…………

Yan Kui, who was inside the house, opened the door to the storage room and found a lot of old newspapers under the wooden planks.

I pulled the newspaper out forcefully, but then I saw a small black box in the corner. I suddenly remembered what Yan Sheng had mentioned on the phone before, the box that contained photos of Yan Weihua and Meng Baozhu.

Yan Kui lay on the ground, stretching out her arms, trying to hook onto the box.

After several unsuccessful attempts, he sighed as he looked at the wooden plank blocking his way.

"Never mind, sealing the windows is the priority."

Then I went to Aunt Song's house to borrow a bottle of paste and stood in the bathroom using a small brush to stick the newspaper to the paper.

It took Yan Kui almost an hour to finish pasting the windowpane smoothly. She couldn't help but praise herself, saying, "My craftsmanship is pretty good, isn't it?"

After saying that, he made a face at Wei Yinjia, who had drawn the curtains across the street.

When Wei Yin got up the next day and opened the window, what he saw was a whole pane of glass covered with neatly pasted newspaper.

I couldn't help but chuckle.

"It's pretty fast."

What Wei Yin didn't know was how thickly Yan Kui had covered the windows; once she closed them, people standing outside couldn't even tell if the lights were on inside.

When he returned to his room that night and saw the window that let in no light at all, he frowned.

"Are you guarding against me?"

Yan Kui simply felt that the newspaper would get wet easily if pasted on, and that if it was pasted on thicker, it wouldn't need to be redone.

So, two days later, Yan Kui wanted to go to Wei Yin's house for a free meal.

He deliberately followed Huang Maomao into Wei Yin's house and said to Huang Maomao, "Brother Yin, Yan Kui wants to have dinner here tonight. She asked me to bring her over, but she's too shy to say it herself."

Yan Kui was speechless. She had clearly told Huang Maomao to tell Wei Yin that he felt sorry for Yan Kui and brought her to ask Wei Yin if she could eat at his house!

Why did they just sell her off like that?!

Seeing this, Wei Yin's tone wasn't very friendly: "Yan Kui? She dares to eat my cooking?"

Isn't it because we're wary of him?

Yan Kui was full of questions.

They exchanged a glance, both of them somewhat confused.

Why is this person acting so strangely today?
