Chapter 69 Brother, you're too high-profile.
The next day.
I don't know if Wei Yin did it on purpose, but he wore a low-cut sweater on such a cold day.
Huang Maomao sat on the bench, looking at Wei Yin's neck and collarbone covered in hickeys, and almost choked.
"Brother Yin, you're being too high-profile."
Wei Yin didn't take it seriously and lay down on the sofa: "I'll let her see her results later."
Huang Maomao felt like he'd eaten too much dog food and was a little dizzy. Hearing a commotion in Yan Kui's room as if he was about to leave, he immediately stood up and said, "I'll go see what Yan Sheng is up to."
After saying that, he ran away as if his life depended on it.
Help! He really doesn't want to be a third wheel anymore!
However, before he even entered the Yan family's courtyard, he heard his father shouting from the iron gate, "Huang Chengzhi, come back, something's wrong."
Huang Maomao immediately went home and found his mother there. He laughed and said, "What's going on? Why are you shouting for me so loudly?"
Old Huang put down his hoe and wiped his face with a towel: "Tell Young Master Wei tonight that Old Master Wei wants him to go back before the New Year, and we'll go with him this time."
Huang Maomao laughed even harder, finally getting to leave this godforsaken place!
…………
After Yan Kui woke up, she got up and washed up in the bathroom. When she came out, she saw Wei Yin lying casually on the sofa.
Wei Yinchao beckoned to Yan Kui: "Come over and have a glass of water."
Yan Kui walked over, picked up a cup, and was about to drink when she suddenly noticed the hickey on Wei Yin's collarbone. Startled, she immediately exclaimed, "Why are you wearing this?! It's so obvious on your neck!! You should change into a turtleneck!"
Wei Yin smiled and changed to a side-lying position: "I'll show you properly, so you won't say I bullied you again."
Seeing that Yan Kui didn't move, he beckoned to her: "Come here."
Yan Kui walked over, and Wei Yin took the cup from her hand, hooked her arm around it, and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
Yan Kui rolled her little brain: "Let's eat noodles, your noodles are always delicious."
When she needed someone, she became all sweet talk. Wei Yin let go of her, got up and went to the kitchen, then said to Yan Kui, "Let's invite Yan Sheng to come and eat together."
Yan Kui nodded, stood by the courtyard wall, and shouted twice to the neighbor, "Yan Sheng, come and have breakfast."
Upon hearing the voice, Yan Sheng quickly responded with a "okay," and upon walking over, he saw Wei Yin cooking noodles. He proactively helped wash the vegetables and then said in a serious tone, "Brother-in-law, here are the vegetables for you."
Wei Yin's smile lasted until Huang Maomao came over that evening and told him that he was going back to Taipei before the New Year, at which point it stopped.
Yan Kui was watching a movie in the living room when Wei Yin sat down next to her. After hesitating for a long time, he finally asked, "Yan Kui, do you want to go to Taipei with me for the New Year?"
Yan Kui paused the movie and looked up at Wei Yin: "Are you going back to Taipei for the Lunar New Year?"
"Yes, I have something to do and need to go back early."
Seeing that Wei Yin's expression was somewhat serious, Yan Kui smiled and said, "It's nothing. You can go back to Beishi to get busy first. Anyway, it's almost Chinese New Year next week. I'll go back to Nanshi after the New Year."
"I'll come see you when I have time, and you can come see me when you have time too."
Wei Yin had originally planned to stay here with her until the end of the New Year before going back, but now the old man had called him back early, so something must have happened.
Wei Yin was still a little worried and instructed, "You must listen to me and not do anything you shouldn't do, understand?"
Yan Kui felt that Wei Yin wasn't treating her like a child, but rather that he was afraid she would see other men in Nanshi. She nodded heavily twice: "I understand, I will be very obedient."
Seeing her like this, Wei Yin was somewhat skeptical. He pulled her over and, taking advantage of Yan Kui's inattention, gently bit her cheek.
