Guan Ju was touched by Wen Song's gesture of getting close to his neck and gently sniffing him. The other man's actions were not seductive or ambiguous at all; they were simply as if he was worried about and concerned about the Alpha's physical condition.
"The pheromones have faded, does that mean my fertile period is over?"
Wen Song is a Beta and doesn't know the specifics of the Alpha's susceptible period.
