Chapter 118 Slandering Traditional Chinese Medicine Will Be Severely Punished

Smith was mocking Sun Guosheng and discrediting traditional Chinese medicine.

Ye Chen stood outside the door, taking in the other party's words and actions.

Ye Chen was very angry about this.

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history, dating back thousands of years.

Traditional Chinese medicine has cured countless difficult and complicated diseases.

You may not believe in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), but you must never denigrate it.

Ye Chen retorted that he wouldn't hold back at all when it came to Smith and the others.

Smith was furious at Ye Chen's sarcasm; his eyes practically blazed with anger.

"Kid, you've got some nerve."

"If it weren't for the emergency, I would have made you regret it!"

"Dr. Smith is an unshakeable authority in the field of Western medicine."

"This guy is really arrogant."

"Dr. Smith has extensive clinical experience and has cured more diseases than you've ever eaten salt."

Smith's team angrily denounced Ye Chen.

In their eyes, Ye Chen was arrogant and conceited, a complete clown.

Dean Ma frowned, his expression turning somewhat unpleasant.

If it weren't for Sun Guosheng's sake, he would have already lashed out at Ye Chen.

"Dr. Smith, please don't be angry. The most important thing right now is to treat the patient."

Dean Ma quickly smiled apologetically and said to Smith.

"Fine, for Dean Ma's sake, I won't stoop to his level," Smith sneered.

"Give the patient the injection immediately."

At Smith's command, the medical assistants immediately administered the injection to the patient.

After the injection was completed, the assistant kept a close eye on the equipment.

A few minutes later, the equipment stopped emitting alarms.

The data gradually returned to normal, and the patient's condition improved.

"Dr. Smith, the patient's temperature is slowly decreasing."

"The temperature has now dropped to 38 degrees Celsius, and the patient's heartbeat and heart rate are returning to normal..."

The medical assistant reported the situation with a happy expression.

Dean Ma and other hospital staff breathed a sigh of relief, and a smile appeared on their faces.

"Dr. Smith is really amazing."

"As expected of Dr. Smith, he solved the difficult problem immediately with a single move."

Smith was immediately showered with praise.

Even Dean Ma thought Smith was amazing and was glad that he had invited Smith over.

A hint of pride flashed across Smith's face as he listened to the praise.

It was a minor issue for him; he could handle it with ease.

Sun Guosheng frowned; he had a feeling that things weren't that simple.

"Master Ye, has the patient's condition improved?"

"No, it will actually make things worse," Ye Chen said.

"Hmph, kid, you're lying through your teeth."

"Exactly, didn't you see that the patient's data has improved?"

"You're all talk and no action; it's ridiculous and stupid."

Smith looked at Ye Chen with an arrogant expression.

"Didn't you just say the patient was in critical condition? Where is he?"

"You can't question my medical skills."

"Therefore, Western medicine is the mainstream of science, while traditional Chinese medicine is just garbage that is designed to deceive people."

"What did you say!"

Sun Guosheng was furious. He rolled up his sleeves and was about to rush up and fight Smith.

Fortunately, Ye Chen managed to pull him back in time.

"Dr. Sun, if a dog bites you, are you going to bite it back?"

Ye Chen said, "He won't be smug for long."

Smith's face turned completely black, and his eyes practically spit fire.

"Boy, you've humiliated me time and time again, I'll make you pay..."

Just as Smith was about to lose his temper, the equipment immediately sounded an alarm.

All the data are deteriorating rapidly.

The medical assistants present changed their expressions drastically upon seeing this.

"Dr. Smith, the patient's condition is deteriorating rapidly; their temperature is soaring..."

"Dr. Smith, the patient is having difficulty breathing."

"Mr. Smith, the patient is experiencing convulsions and foaming at the mouth..."

The entire scene descended into chaos in an instant.

Dean Ma's expression changed, and he hurriedly looked at Smith, "Dr. Smith..."

Smith immediately went to the patient, whose condition was deteriorating.

"What are you waiting for? Start the rescue immediately!"

"Okay, okay," the medical assistant quickly replied, and then began to resuscitate the patient.

Smith's face turned very ugly.

As the patient's condition worsened, Smith's brows furrowed deeply.

He simply couldn't understand why this was happening.

"The treatment was clearly targeted at the problem, so how could the situation have worsened?"

Smith said with a furrowed brow, feeling quite puzzled.

"Dr. Smith, something terrible has happened! The patient is dying."

A hurried and panicked voice came from behind, and everyone's hearts trembled.

"Dr. Smith, what should we do?" Dean Ma said anxiously.

If the patient dies, the consequences will be unimaginable.

Smith frowned, feeling extremely agitated.

He had done all the necessary rescue measures, but he didn't know what else to do.

"Dean Ma, I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it," Smith said helplessly.

"Even God couldn't help in this situation."

"So this is what is called mainstream Western medicine."

"You were just spouting off so many fancy things," Ye Chen said sarcastically to Smith.

"You!" Smith glared at Ye Chen.

"Western medicine is certainly the mainstream of science, but that doesn't mean it can cure all diseases."

"But no matter what, Western medicine is better than traditional Chinese medicine, that's an indisputable fact."

"Traditional Chinese medicine is just a way to deceive the ignorant."

"In short, if Western medicine can't cure it, traditional Chinese medicine certainly can't!"
