"Young Master Hong, our people have sent back a message."
"They said Lin Ruoxi and her best friend were shopping at the mall, and Ye Chen wasn't with them."
"So, should we take action?" the underling asked Hong Yi.
A cold glint flashed in Hong Yi's eyes, followed by a sinister smile.
"There are many people in the mall, and there are surveillance cameras. Taking action here will only cause trouble."
"Let's wait until she leaves the mall before we make our move."
"Yes, Young Master Hong, I'll send them the message right away," the underling said.
"What's the situation with Hong Sihai?" Hong Yi asked.
"According to the information we have received."
“Hong Sihai has sent Wang Biao to search for Hong Shao’s whereabouts; they want to eliminate him completely.”
"Hmph." Hong Yi immediately snorted coldly, his eyes radiating a strong killing intent.
"This time I won't let him have his way or even dream about it."
Time passed little by little.
An hour later, Lin Ruoxi and Qiao Lina walked out of the mall, each buying some items.
"Ruoxi, why don't you come sit with me for a while?" Qiao Lina asked.
"I have to go back to the company, maybe next time," Lin Ruoxi said.
“Okay, then you go ahead and get busy,” Qiao Lina said.
Lin Ruoxi nodded, then got into the car. "Lina, I'm leaving now."
"Okay, Ruoxi, be careful on the road," Qiao Lina said with a smile.
Lin Ruoxi smiled slightly, then drove away from the parking lot.
Not long after Lin Ruoxi's car left the parking lot.
Two cars emerged from the corner and followed Lin Ruoxi's car.
Lin Ruoxi was unaware that she was being followed.
She drove her car from the overpass into a section of road where there were no people or cars.
Just then, the two cars behind Lin Ruoxi suddenly accelerated.
A car sped past Lin Ruoxi's car and then braked suddenly to intercept it.
Lin Ruoxi was immediately startled by the situation before her.
She quickly slammed on the brakes, and the car immediately emitted a screeching sound.
Lin Ruoxi frowned, a sense of unease rising within her.
She tried to reverse but found that a car behind her was blocking her way.
Just then, several men got out of the car and walked towards Lin Ruoxi.
The man in the lead knocked on Lin Ruoxi's car window.
Lin Ruoxi's expression was grave.
Although she knew the other party had ill intentions, she still rolled down the car window and looked wary.
"So you're Lin Ruoxi?" the leading man asked.
"I am Lin Ruoxi. Who are you people?" Lin Ruoxi said.
"Our young master Hong wants to see you, so you'd better come with us obediently, or you'll suffer the consequences," the leader of the group said.
Lin Ruoxi hesitated for a moment.
The man immediately pulled out a small knife and waved it in front of Lin Ruoxi, saying, "You'd better cooperate obediently."
“Okay, I’ll go with you,” Lin Ruoxi said in a deep voice.
“You’re a smart woman, take her away,” the man said.
An hour later, Lin Ruoxi was taken to an abandoned warehouse.
She looked around at her surroundings, her heart pounding in her chest.
A few minutes later, Hong Yi appeared at the scene.
Lin Ruoxi looked at the sneering man in front of her and asked, "Who are you, and why are you arresting me?"
"I captured you, of course, to deal with Ye Chen," Hong Yi said sinisterly.
Lin Ruoxi's expression immediately changed upon hearing this.
Meanwhile, Ye Chen had already returned to his residence.
Just then, his phone rang; it was an unknown number calling.
"Hello, who are you?" Ye Chen asked.
"Hehehe..." A sinister laugh rang out from the phone, "Ye Chen, long time no see."
“Hong Yi?” Ye Chen said in a deep voice.
"Ye Chen, I didn't expect you to still remember me. I'm really very pleased."
"Hong Yi, shouldn't you be hiding like a rat at a time like this? You still dare to call me," Ye Chen said with a sneer.
"Ye Chen, what did you say!" Hong Yi was furious, his eyes practically spitting fire.
"I'm hanging up, don't bother me," Ye Chen said.
"Ye Chen, you'll regret it if you hang up on me!" Hong Yi said coldly.
"Listen to whose voice this is."
"Ah, don't come any closer..."
A panicked voice immediately rang out, and Ye Chen's eyes instantly turned cold and terrifying.
This was Lin Ruoxi's voice, which Ye Chen was very familiar with.
He hadn't expected Hong Yi to capture Lin Ruoxi, which immediately ignited his murderous intent.
"Ye Chen, isn't this voice very familiar?" Hong Yi said coldly.
"My men are very interested in your woman."
Ye Chen suppressed his anger and forced himself to calm down.
"Hong Yi, you captured Ruoxi just to deal with me, didn't you?"
"Ye Chen, I wish I could tear you to pieces."
"If you hadn't ruined my plans, I would be the owner of the Sihai Group now."
"And of course, there's Hong Sihai. I'm going to kill you all."
As he spoke, Hong Yi became increasingly agitated.
"I want you to bring Hong Sihai to see me."
"It can only be the two of you. If you dare to play any tricks, I'll kill your woman."
As soon as I finished speaking, the phone started beeping.
Ye Chen's gaze was icy, and he exuded a strong killing intent.
"Hong Yi, you're dead this time," Ye Chen said coldly.
Half an hour later, Ye Chen appeared at Sihai Group.
"Master Ye, I didn't know you were coming. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
Hong Sihai walked into the office and immediately apologized to Ye Chen.
Hong Sihai was very nervous as he sensed the cold aura emanating from Ye Chen.
