"Secretary Yang, come and try it. It's a new drink that a coffee shop just launched. I heard it's pretty good."
Just as Yang Hong was passing by the rest area, a female employee called out to her.
Yang Hong quite likes coffee, and when she heard about the new one, she said, "Really? I'll try it."
Yang Hong took out her cup and slowly savored it. She had to admit that this new coffee was quite good.
"Secretary Yang, how is it? How does it taste?" the female employee asked with a smile.
"Yes, it's really good, delicious."
Yang Hong said with a smile, then picked up her cup and slowly drank.
Meanwhile, Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi sat on the sofa, dressed neatly.
Lin Ruoxi's face was flushed, and her expression was full of satisfaction.
"Ruoxi, you must be exhausted. Have some tea."
Ye Chen chuckled softly, then placed the teacup in front of Lin Ruoxi.
Lin Ruoxi took a soft breath and then sipped her tea.
"Ye Chen, you big bad guy, you're always finding ways to bully me."
"Ruoxi, as the saying goes, it takes two to tango," Ye Chen said with a smile.
"And this morning you were the one who took the initiative."
Lin Ruoxi was truly embarrassed by Ye Chen's words and rolled her eyes at him.
"Ye Chen, stop talking, you're not allowed to say anything more."
Seeing Lin Ruoxi's embarrassed expression, Ye Chen immediately smiled.
"Ruoxi, this is a classic case of double standards."
"It seems that even a commoner like me can't light a lamp."
"You big bad guy, I'm ignoring you now," Lin Ruoxi said shyly.
Ye Chen stayed for a while, then said, "Ruoxi, if there's nothing else, I won't keep you from working any longer."
"Call me again if anything happens or if you need any help."
"Ye Chen, thank you," Lin Ruoxi said.
"Thank me?" Ye Chen asked, puzzled.
"Thank you for doing so much for me and for giving me happiness," Lin Ruoxi said happily.
"As your man, it's only right. You're welcome."
Ye Chen smiled slightly, then kissed Lin Ruoxi and left.
Lin Ruoxi watched Ye Chen's departing figure, her face beaming with a happy smile.
She absolutely adored Ye Chen, to the core of her being.
Not long after Ye Chen left, there was a knock on the door.
Yang Hong pushed open the door and walked in. "President Lin, this document needs your signature."
Lin Ruoxi opened the document and read it carefully.
Yang Hong stood there without saying a word, but her eyes were constantly observing Lin Ruoxi intently.
As Yang Hong watched, she noticed that Lin Ruoxi was a little different.
She looked radiant and full of energy.
A few minutes later, Lin Ruoxi signed the document and handed it to Yang Hong.
Yang Hong didn't leave with the documents in her hand; instead, she seemed hesitant to speak.
"Yang Hong, is there anything else?" Lin Ruoxi asked.
“President Lin, I feel like you’re different?” Yang Hong said.
"It's different?" Lin Ruoxi was taken aback and said, "How is it different? Is there something dirty on my face?"
"No, Mr. Lin, you look radiant and energetic today, and you exude a wonderful charm."
"Well, Mr. Lin looks radiant."
Yang Hong thought for a moment, and then expressed her opinion.
How can it not be radiant?
Since last night, Lin Ruoxi has been receiving constant care from Ye Chen.
A healthy glow naturally appeared on her face.
"Because the company crisis has been resolved and we've secured such a large contract, I guess I'm in a better mood. That's probably the reason."
Lin Ruoxi's reaction time was quite fast.
She couldn't very well tell Yang Hong that the reason she was like this was because Ye Chen had taken care of her.
"Yang Hong, is there anything else?" Lin Ruoxi asked.
"Without Mr. Lin, I'll head out now," Yang Hong said.
After Yang Hong left, Lin Ruoxi leaned back in her office chair, completely relaxed, her mind filled with wonderful memories.
Time passed slowly, and Ye Chen returned to his residence.
His phone rang shortly after he entered the room; it was Hong Sihai calling.
"Xiao Si, is there something you need?" Ye Chen asked.
"Master Ye, I would like to invite you to lunch. Would lunchtime be convenient for you?"
“Okay, where?” Ye Chen asked.
"I will be waiting for Master Ye at the Grand Hotel at noon."
"Okay, I understand," Ye Chen replied and ended the call.
Immediately afterwards, Ye Chen sat cross-legged on the sofa to begin his cultivation.
Time passed little by little.
Around noon, Lin Ruoxi received a phone call from her mother.
"Mom, what's wrong?"
"Ruoxi, your dad and I are at the entrance of the Grand Hotel. Come over quickly." Qin Xiulian's voice came from the phone.
"The Grand Hotel, Mom, what are you doing there?" Lin Ruoxi asked, puzzled.
"Of course we need to eat, come on over."
“Okay, I’ll be right there,” Lin Ruoxi replied.
After ending the call, Lin Ruoxi packed her things and left the company.
Half an hour later, Lin Ruoxi appeared at the Grand Hotel.
"Dad, Mom, why are you here for dinner all of a sudden?"
"The food here isn't cheap. Are you sure you can afford to eat here?"
As soon as Lin Ruoxi entered the private room, she asked curiously.
"If it's just us, we really will be reluctant to part with it."
“But today is to express our gratitude, so we have to be willing to spend money,” Qin Xiulian said.
"Who should we thank?" Lin Ruoxi asked.
"Zhang Qiang," Qin Xiulian said with a smile.
