"Looks like you've really got some nerve, you're asking for it!"
A furious shout rang out.
Everyone looked in the direction from which the sound came.
Several young men walked over.
Ye Chen narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at the man walking ahead.
This guy was Zhang Qiang, whom Ye Chen had previously taught a lesson to.
Several people of similar age were with Zhang Qiang.
It's obvious at a glance that they're Zhang Qiang's cronies; birds of a feather flock together.
"Ruoxi, are you alright?" Zhang Qiang asked Lin Ruoxi.
"What are you doing here?" Lin Ruoxi asked with a serious expression, her brows furrowed.
"I was having dinner with my friend here, and I didn't expect to run into you here."
"If this guy is going to bully you, I can't just sit idly by."
After Zhang Qiang finished speaking, he glanced at Ye Chen and then immediately expressed his opinion.
"Ruoxi, don't worry, I won't let anyone hurt you."
Zhang Qiang was deeply embarrassed by what happened last time and was thinking about how to salvage the situation.
Unexpectedly, God sent him an opportunity.
"Ruoxi, I won't be as timid and cowardly as some people."
"I'll just watch you get bullied," Zhang Qiang said with a forced smile.

"Damn it, you dare hit me? Do you know who I am?!" the fat man cursed, glaring angrily at Zhang Qiang.
Zhang Qiang snorted coldly and said with a disdainful look, "Who you are is none of my business."
"Get out of here right now, or I'll beat you so badly your own parents won't recognize you."
The fat man stood up from the ground and said angrily, "Fine, fine, you just wait."
"Just wait and see how I kill you later."
After saying that, the fat man left, seething with anger.
"Tch, you think you can challenge me? You're overestimating yourself," Zhang Qiang said with a disdainful look.
Zhang Qiang walked up to Lin Ruoxi and said with a smile, "It's alright, Ruoxi, I chased that bastard away."
Lin Ruoxi didn't say anything, but looked at the female employee and asked, "Are you alright?"
"Thank you for your concern, Mr. Lin, I'm fine," the female employee said.
Zhang Qiang glared at Ye Chen, a flash of hatred in his eyes. "Ye Chen, are you even a man?"
"Ruoxi was almost bullied just now, and you did nothing about it."
"If I hadn't arrived in time, the consequences would have been unimaginable."
"You're not worthy of being Ruoxi's boyfriend!"
Zhang Qiang's cronies immediately saw through the scheme.
They all joined Zhang Qiang in mocking Ye Chen.
"Exactly, exactly. What a coward! He's a disgrace to us men."
"Men should protect women, and Young Master Zhang is a model of manhood."
Ye Chen didn't bother with Zhang Qiang and his group.
If Zhang Qiang hadn't suddenly appeared, the fat man would have collapsed long ago.
Seeing that Ye Chen remained silent, Zhang Qiang became even more smug.
"A cowardly gigolo who lives off a woman."
"Zhang Qiang, shut up! You're not allowed to talk about Ye Chen like that!" Lin Ruoxi said angrily.
Seeing Lin Ruoxi protecting Ye Chen like this made Zhang Qiang furious; he felt he was no match for Ye Chen.
