Half an hour later, Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi arrived at the pavilion.

"Forget it, I can't handle his concern," Qin Xiulian said, frowning.
Lin Ruoxi immediately became unhappy upon hearing this.
If it weren't for Ye Chen, his whole family would have been finished.
Zhang Daguo and his son were treacherous and despicable; they had set a trap for their family.
"Ye Chen, stay away from my daughter from now on."
"Don't bother her. You two are not a good match," Qin Xiulian said with a stern face.
"If Ruoxi and I aren't a good match, then who is?" Ye Chen said.
"Is that even a question? Of course it's Zhang Qiang."
“Zhang Qiang is better than you in every way. He can give Ruoxi a lot of help, which you can’t do,” Qin Xiulian sneered.
"Zhang Qiang..." Ye Chen scoffed. This guy wasn't even qualified to shine his shoes.
