"Dad, you look great today, so energetic, like a completely different person," Lin Ruoxi said.
"Maybe it's because I was in a good mood and rested well last night, so it's different."
Lin Sanguo said, and then began to eat breakfast.
Lin Ruoxi didn't think much of it.
After all, she never dreamed that her parents had engaged in such a thrilling battle last night.
Half an hour later, Lin Ruoxi, having finished breakfast, picked up her bag and walked out of the house.
Not long after, Qin Xiulian slowly walked out of the room.
Qin Xiulian still looked a little tired, but her complexion was rosy and she looked quite well.
Although Qin Xiulian was exhausted last night, she felt incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated after being satisfied, like a long-awaited rain after a long drought.
"Xiulian, you're up. Please sit down." Lin Sanguo said immediately.
"You must have had a hard night, Xiulian."
Qin Xiulian rolled her eyes at Lin Sanguo and said irritably, "How dare you say that?"
"What kind of drug did you take last night? It was so potent!"
"Ye Chen gave me a Rejuvenation Pill last night, saying it could solve my problem."
"So I ate it just to give it a try."
"I didn't expect the effect to be just as Ye Chen said, it's really amazing."
Lin Sanguo immediately recounted the situation truthfully.
"Ye Chen?!" Qin Xiulian was immediately surprised upon hearing this.
She never expected that Lin Sanguo's fierceness last night was because Ye Chen gave him the medicine.
Surprised, Qin Xiulian frowned and said, "Sanguo, you've really gone too far."
"He gave it to you, and you actually ate it?"
"If something goes wrong, it will be too late for you to regret it."
Lin Sanguo smiled and said, "Xiulian, isn't this a good result?"
Qin Xiulian frowned and said in a deep voice, "I've heard that the stronger the medicine, the greater the side effects. Could there be some problems?"
"Xiulian, you can rest assured."
"Ye Chen told me that the Rejuvenation Pill has no side effects," Lin Sanguo said with a smile.
"He says there are no side effects, so there are no side effects? You actually believe him?" Qin Xiulian glared at Lin Sanguo, annoyed.
“I am Ruoxi’s father, how could he possibly harm me?”
“After all, he’s Ruoxi’s boyfriend now,” Lin Sanguo said.
"Ruoxi's boyfriend? He shouldn't even think about it. I don't acknowledge him."
Qin Xiulian said somewhat angrily, glaring at Lin Sanguo.
"Xiulian, Ye Chen is actually quite good," Lin Sanguo said.
"He's handsome, and most importantly, Ruoxi likes Ye Chen."
"What's the use of being handsome? Can you eat it?"
"He's useless now, and he wants to live off Ruoxi," Qin Xiulian said coldly.
"Xiulian, what if Ye Chen is a real dragon?" Lin Sanguo asked in return.
Upon hearing this, Qin Xiulian immediately scoffed and laughed.
