The room immediately fell silent upon hearing this.
Ye Chen was stunned. He didn't expect Qiao Lina to say such a thing.
For a moment, Ye Chen didn't know how to respond, so he could only remain silent.
At this moment, Qiao Lina realized that she had said the wrong thing.
Ye Chen's praise had made her overjoyed.

Qiao Lina poured two glasses of red wine, then handed one of them to Ye Chen.
"Ye Chen, I want to toast you properly with this glass of wine."
"Thank you for helping me during the lowest and most difficult time of my life, allowing me to see the light again."
Qiao Lina smiled and raised her glass to Ye Chen.
"Bang!" The two cups gently collided.
Jolina smiled happily and then drank the red wine in her glass in one gulp.
"Lina, just drink a little, you don't have to finish it all," Ye Chen said.
“No,” Jolina said, shaking her head.
"I've been in Jingzhou for so many years, and I've never been as happy as I am tonight."
"Because I met people who stood up for me."
"So I must finish this glass of wine."
“That’s how I show my sincerity,” Jolina said earnestly.
After saying that, Qiao Lina poured herself another glass of red wine and downed it without saying anything.
Finally, he downed three glasses of red wine in a row.
"Alright, Lina, drinking like this can easily harm your health. Go and eat something."
Ye Chen quickly said to Qiao Lina.
"Don't worry, Ye Chen, I have a high alcohol tolerance. I can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk."
Qiao Lina patted her chest confidently and said.
Moonlight streamed through the windows, and the restaurant offered candlelight, wine, and delicious food.
Handsome men and beautiful women filled the scene with a romantic atmosphere.
Qiao Lina looked at Ye Chen, her heart pounding wildly.
Her breathing was a little rapid, and her breath was warm.
It felt like being electrocuted.
The tingling sensation made her unable to control herself, and her delicate body trembled slightly.
"Ye Chen, do you know that tonight is the first time I've ever cooked for a man?"
Qiao Lina stared straight at Ye Chen with her beautiful eyes.
“Except for my parents, of course,” Jolina added.

She smiled, then tentatively asked, "Ye Chen, has Ruoxi ever cooked for you?"
"No," Ye Chen replied truthfully.
"Really? No way?" Jolina asked with a hint of surprise.
"Ruoxi is too busy and doesn't have time right now," Ye Chen said with a smile.
"When I'm less busy in the future, Ruoxi will cook for me too."
Qiao Lina learned that she was the first woman to cook for Ye Chen.
This surprised her, but also excited her.
Qiao Lina never expected that she would beat Lin Ruoxi to it.
An indescribable feeling spread through her heart.
"It will probably take a long time, Ruoxi has been quite busy lately."
Qiao Lina said, her gaze towards Ye Chen very gentle.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through Qiao Lina's mind.
This idea made Qiao Lina a little nervous, excited, and expectant.
Qiao Lina smoothed her bangs with her hand and said jokingly, "Come to my place whenever you have time, and I'll cook for you."
"That's not a good idea, it's too much trouble for you. I can handle it myself."
Ye Chen looked at Qiao Lina, smiled, and said.
"How could this be troublesome? We're both alone anyway."
"How about we become dining buddies?" Qiao Lina suggested.
"Okay, as long as you don't mind, I'll come over when I have time," Ye Chen said.
Qiao Lina was overjoyed upon hearing this.
"You can't go back on your word, or I'll get angry."
"I'm scary when I'm angry," Jolina said in a cute but fierce way.
“Okay, I’ll come with Ruoxi then,” Ye Chen nodded and said.
"Ah, you came with Ruoxi."
Qiao Lina was startled, her expression somewhat complicated.
She had assumed Ye Chen would come alone, which made her somewhat disappointed.
"What's wrong? Don't you want Ruoxi to come?" Ye Chen asked.
"No, no, no, how could that be? Of course I want Ruoxi to come over."
"Ruoxi and I are best friends. I'm so happy that she came."
Qiao Lina quickly said, trying to hide her disappointment.
"Ye Chen, eat some vegetables. I made a lot tonight, so you should eat more."
As Qiao Lina spoke, she served food to Ye Chen.
Anyone who didn't know better would think Qiao Lina was Ye Chen's girlfriend.
"Alright, alright, Lina, I can do it myself," Ye Chen said.
"Don't just look at me, eat some too."
"Okay," Qiao Lina replied, then put some food into her bowl.
