"Ye Chen, what did you bring?" Lin Ruoxi asked.
"I made some food and thought I'd bring it to you," Ye Chen said.
"Great! I'm a little hungry," Lin Ruoxi said happily.
Ye Chen smiled and then placed the food on the table.
Looking at the delicious-looking food on the table, Lin Ruoxi's mouth watered.
"It smells so good, it's making my mouth water."
Ye Chen smiled and then handed the chopsticks to Lin Ruoxi.
"Eat it while it's hot, otherwise it won't taste good when it gets cold."
"Okay." Lin Ruoxi took the chopsticks and happily began to eat the food.
As Lin Ruoxi ate the delicious food prepared by Ye Chen, a bright smile appeared on her face.
She felt a sweet warmth in her heart, as if she were soaking in a honey pot.
A surge of happiness enveloped my entire being.
"How does it taste?" Ye Chen asked.
"Delicious, incredibly delicious, a true delicacy."
Lin Ruoxi praised it highly, her beautiful eyes curving into crescent moons.
"Eat more if you like it, and I'll give you more if you're still hungry." Ye Chen smiled slightly at Lin Ruoxi.
"Mmm," Lin Ruoxi responded, then resumed enjoying her meal.
"I wish Lina would wake up; she would be so excited to see all this delicious food."
"Don't worry, Lina will be fine. She'll wake up soon," Ye Chen said.
"Okay, once Lina is better, the three of us will have a proper celebration," Lin Ruoxi suggested.
"Okay." Ye Chen nodded with a smile.
Just then, Ye Chen's phone rang.
Ye Chen took out his phone and saw that the caller ID showed Hong Sihai.
"Ruoxi, I'm going out to take this call," Ye Chen said softly.
"Go ahead, go ahead," Lin Ruoxi said with a smile.
Once outside, Ye Chen immediately pressed the answer button.
