After a brief moment of sweet talk, Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi went for a walk in a park.
The two walked towards the artificial hill.
Perhaps because it was hot at midday, there weren't many people in the park.
The entire surrounding area was very quiet.
"Ye Chen, let's go upstairs and sit for a while."
Lin Ruoxi pointed to the pavilion on the artificial hill.
"Okay," Ye Chen nodded in response.
Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi walked hand in hand toward the pavilion on the artificial hill.
The two chatted and laughed along the way, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
Soon Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi arrived at the pavilion.
The two people can see the whole scenery from the pavilion.
"Ye Chen, this place is so beautiful."
"The scenery is beautiful, but the people are even more beautiful," Ye Chen said, looking at Lin Ruoxi.
Lin Ruoxi laughed as she listened, feeling secretly delighted.
After admiring the view, Lin Ruoxi found a place to sit down.
A cool breeze blew by, making her feel very comfortable.
"Ye Chen, did you hear anything? It sounds like someone is there."
Suddenly, Lin Ruoxi looked at Ye Chen and then spoke.
"Yes, there were indeed people coming from that direction."
Ye Chen pointed to the two o'clock direction, then shook his head and smiled bitterly as he spoke.
Lin Ruoxi saw Ye Chen shaking his head and smiling bitterly, and immediately became curious.
"Ye Chen, you're shaking your head and giving a bitter smile. What do you mean by that?"
"Is there some unspeakable secret there?"
As she talked, Lin Ruoxi's curiosity grew stronger.
"Ruoxi, it's better if you don't know, otherwise you'll be very surprised."
Ye Chen shook his head and said with a wry smile.
Ye Chen's hearing was extremely sharp, so he naturally heard what was happening there.
He just didn't expect it to be such a coincidence.
"No, Ye Chen, you've piqued my curiosity."
"Tell me quickly," Lin Ruoxi said, shaking Ye Chen's arm.
Ye Chen really couldn't bring himself to say it.
After all, what was happening there was just too amazing, and incredibly exciting.
Seeing Ye Chen smile without saying a word, Lin Ruoxi frowned slightly and let out a soft hum.
"If you won't tell me, then I'll go see for myself."
"Ruoxi, I think it's better if you don't go."
"To avoid not knowing how to handle the situation later," Ye Chen reminded him again.
"No, I won't, I'll go see it right now."
Lin Ruoxi gave a soft snort, then got up and walked towards the direction from which the sound came.
"Alright, since you insist on going, then go ahead."
Ye Chen smiled at Lin Ruoxi, then sighed softly.
"What do you mean I'll just go? I want you to come with me."
After Lin Ruoxi finished speaking, she immediately took Ye Chen's hand and walked over.
As they got closer to their destination, the sounds became clearer.
Ye Chen's face revealed a meaningful expression.
Suddenly, a series of "slap slap slap" sounds came, and Ye Chen shook his head with a smile.
Lin Ruoxi frowned slightly, her expression somewhat solemn.
"That sounds like a slap."
"Are people fighting here?"
Lin Ruoxi said with a hint of doubt.
Just then, several more "slap slap slap" sounds were heard.
Then came the sound of a woman screaming.
Lin Ruoxi became even more restless.
"Ye Chen, could it be that someone is beating a woman?"
"No, we have to stop it," Lin Ruoxi said, a little angry.
"Ruoxi, let's forget it, let's not ruin their good time."
Ye Chen shook his head slightly, a bitter smile on his face.
Ye Chen had excellent hearing; he already knew there was a couple exercising there, which is why he said not to ruin their good time.
But Lin Ruoxi didn't mean it that way.
She thought Ye Chen didn't want to cause trouble, which was why he advised her like that.
"No, Ye Chen, how can you hit a woman? We must stop you."
Lin Ruoxi said somewhat angrily, looking at Ye Chen.
"No matter the reason, you should never hit someone."
"Besides, he was hitting a woman."
Then came the sound of a woman making "woo woo woo" sounds.
Lin Ruoxi, her face contorted with anger, said huffing, "Ye Chen, listen! The woman is crying from being beaten. I can't just stand by and do nothing."
Ye Chen looked at Lin Ruoxi's angry expression and was truly at a loss for words.
This isn't a woman crying from being beaten; she's crying from sheer pleasure.
"Ruoxi, sometimes what you hear is different from the truth."
"Sometimes women cry because it feels so good, so satisfying."
"Ye Chen, I'm not a three-year-old child."
"It feels so good and wonderful. Women should be laughing and happy, not crying."
"Anyway, if you won't go, I will. Since we've run into this, I have to stop you."
Lin Ruoxi said with a resolute expression.
Seeing Lin Ruoxi's resolute attitude, Ye Chen knew that nothing he said would make a difference.
"Okay, I won't stop you."
"Seeing is believing, so we went over quietly."
"Let's decide what to do after we actually see the situation on the ground."
Ye Chen said it in a relatively tactful way.
He knew the couple was exercising.
What if I rush over like that and scare someone?
"Okay, I'll do as you say. We'll go over quietly."
"Let's see what happened first," Lin Ruoxi nodded and said.
Soon Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi walked forward.
The closer they got to their destination, the clearer the sounds of striking, accompanied by the woman's voice, became.
"That bastard, he really went too far."
