Just then, there was a knock on the door.
The office door was pushed open, and Yang Hong hurriedly walked in.
Yang Hong's appearance immediately relieved Lin Ruoxi.

"What's up?"
"President Lin, the finance department needs you to come over. They say they have something to report to you, and it's quite urgent."

He used this room as a temporary place to stay.
He planned to resolve Lin Ruoxi's problem before finding a place to settle down permanently and then experience life in the mortal world.
After putting his things away, Ye Chen sat cross-legged on the bed with his palms facing up on his knees, and then began to cultivate the Yin-Yang Bible.

"Handsome, are you here for karaoke and drinks, or for a meal and massage?"
The waiter asked with a warm smile.
"No, I'm here to discuss something important with your boss."
"So you're taking me to see him," Ye Chen said softly.
They were in a luxuriously decorated room.
A man with a cold expression sat in the chair; this man was Bai Jinhan, the boss.
A sexy woman was squatting in front of him.
The woman was serving him diligently, and the whole room was filled with a lewd atmosphere.
The man let out a low growl and pressed his hands firmly against the woman's head.
The room quickly returned to calm, and the man immediately sent the woman away.
"Boss, someone outside is looking for you. They say they have something important to discuss."
Just then, one of his men walked in and said.
"I won't see him. Get rid of him." Xu Jiang said coldly.
"Also, please let me know that no one should disturb me."
"Boss, I'm afraid that won't work."
"They said if you don't see them, they'll smash up Bai Jinhan's place," the subordinate quickly said.
A cold glint flashed across Xu Jiang's face, followed by a sneer.
"That's quite a boast. Go and bring him in."
One minute later, Ye Chen walked into the room.
He glanced at Xu Jiang and said softly, "You must be Boss Bai Jinhan."
"Yes, I am Xu Jiang, the boss of Bai Jinhan."
"What do you want from me?" Xu Jiang asked, looking at Ye Chen with a cold expression.
"When does Mr. Xu plan to give the Lin Group the ten million?"
Ye Chen stood in front of Xu Jiang and said with a cold laugh.
Upon hearing this, Xu Jiang immediately sneered and said with a cold expression, "Didn't I already say that I would give it to you when I have the money?"
"What you're saying is very irregular. Is Mr. Xu trying to renege on his promise?"
Ye Chen stared at Xu Jiang and said in an icy tone.
Xu Jiang's expression hardened, and he shouted angrily.
"Who do you think you are? Go back and tell Lin Ruoxi that it's not impossible for her to have money."
"I only have one condition, and that is to let her talk to me in bed."
"If you make me feel comfortable, I will naturally give her the money."
"Watch your words, or you'll die a horrible death."
Ye Chen narrowed his eyes, his words filled with warning.
Upon hearing this, Xu Jiang immediately burst into laughter, his laughter filled with disdain.
He has committed numerous evils and his hands are stained with blood.
"Kid, you've got some nerve threatening me, Xu Jiang."
"It seems I have to make an example of Lin Ruoxi."
Xu Jiang didn't want to waste words with Ye Chen.
He gestured to his subordinate, who understood and quickly left the room.
In the blink of an eye, Ye Chen was immediately surrounded by more than a dozen thugs.
The thugs had fierce expressions on their faces, glaring menacingly.
"Break this kid's arms and legs, then throw him out onto the street," Xu Jiang said fiercely.
Upon receiving the order, more than a dozen thugs immediately rushed towards Ye Chen, slamming their sticks down on him.
