Qiao Lina really wanted to just leave right then and there.
It was after some time that Lin Ruoxi finally noticed her best friend.
"Lina, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?"
Why even pick up your chopsticks? Just watching you two being lovey-dovey is enough to fill me up.
Qiao Lina felt uneasy; at that moment, she felt completely superfluous.
"Miss Qiao, is the food not to your liking?" Ye Chen asked softly.

After saying that, Qiao Lina picked up a piece of meat and put it in her mouth. The next second, she was completely stunned.

An hour later, the three of them had almost finished eating.
After clearing away the dishes, the three of them sat down in the living room.
After this encounter, Qiao Lina's opinion of Ye Chen changed somewhat.
Just then, Qiao Lina's phone rang, and she took it outside to the balcony to answer it.
A few minutes later, Jolina walked in with a heavy heart.
"Ruoxi, something urgent has come up, so I have to go now."
After saying that, Qiao Lina looked at Ye Chen and said, "Thank you for your hospitality tonight."
"You're welcome," Ye Chen said softly.
Ye Chen and Lin Ruoxi then personally escorted Qiao Lina to the door.
After Qiao Lina left, Ye Chen immediately pulled Lin Ruoxi into the house and closed the door.
Ye Chen grabbed Lin Ruoxi's hand and pinned her against the wall.
