Last night, Ah Hui, who was squatting in the corner, watched the whole family happily having a late-night snack together.
I had just arrived at Yan Yinran's place this morning to tidy up her room when I couldn't help but tell her about what happened last night.
"Miss Ranran, that Yan Xiluo is so good at winning people over. Last night when you weren't home, she cooked a huge feast for the master, mistress, and five young masters. She's so good at winning people over!"
"What did you say? Your brothers are all back?"
Yan Yinran's face was filled with surprise and joy. "Did they come back to see me off? Didn't they say they were too busy? So they wanted to surprise me! I guess I'm still important to my brothers!" Yan Yinran only heard that several of her brothers had returned; she didn't hear anything else.
"Yes, apart from the second young master who came back first, the other four young masters all returned around the same time yesterday. It's really strange."
“Aunt Hui, it’s not surprising. I told my brothers a few days ago that I was going back to the Bai family in a few days, and they came back to see me off.”
Yan Yinran spoke with eyes full of happiness, unaware that the real reason was not this.
"I see. Those five young masters still care about you. You still have a place in this family!"
Ah Hui took leave yesterday and didn't return until evening, so she naturally didn't know the real reason for their return and assumed it was as Yan Yinran had said.
"Of course! Okay, Aunt Hui, I'm going out for a bit. Could you tidy up my room for me?"

"Ah Xiu, the five young masters really love Miss Luo Luo so much! Just because Miss Luo Luo served the second young master a bowl of porridge, the other young masters all wanted to drink the porridge that Miss Luo Luo served, so they all came back immediately yesterday!"
"Yes, yes, Miss Luo Luo is such a nice person, who wouldn't like her! She even made us delicious food last night, she's so good to us!"

Yan Yinran gritted her teeth in anger. So her brothers hadn't come back because she wanted to leave. She had begged them for so long, but they hadn't agreed to come back. Now, they all came back just because they wanted to drink the porridge Yan Xiluo had served. Such a small thing was more important than her big problem! They came back and immediately started doing this and that to win people over. Were they in such a hurry to take everything away from her?! Yan Yinran clenched her fists so tightly that her whole body trembled with anger.
She lost all interest in going out and started smashing things when she got back to her room, which terrified Ahui.
Miss Ranran was all smiles before she came downstairs, so why is she so angry in just five minutes? What happened?
"Miss Ranran, what's wrong? Who made you so angry?"
"My brothers came back because of Yan Xiluo! They wanted to drink the porridge that Yan Xiluo served! Is she really that good at winning people over? She even made a huge feast to curry favor while I was away!"
"Miss Ranran, I just told you, Yan Xiluo is really good at winning people over. Everyone in the family is completely infatuated with her. She's very shrewd and calculating!"
Sure enough, Aunt Hui was right. She was indeed cunning and manipulative. Even Aunt Hong and Aunt Xiu had been bribed by her and were saying good things about her. Perhaps Yan Xiluo deliberately had them say those things to her!
"I'm going back to the Bai family the day after tomorrow, I absolutely can't go back! I have to stay, I must find a way to stay."

The food posted was the huge late-night snack that Yan Xiluo made last night.
"My darling daughter made this midnight snack." Yan Youting.
"So many delicious dishes were made by my daughter!" said Li Shuwen.
Since the news of Yan Xiluo's return has not yet been made public, Yan Youting and Li Shuwen only allowed people from the four major families to see this post on their WeChat Moments.
"My sister made it!" Yan Mingxuan said.
"It's so nice to have a younger sister who spoils me!" Yan Chenyu
"My sister's cooking skills are perfect!" Yan Yuze
"My sister made this delicious food!" Yan Qirui
"I can't believe I have a sister with an advanced chef's certificate! It's absolutely delicious! Amazing!" Yan Yixing
Seeing this series of posts on her WeChat Moments, Yan Yinran became even angrier. In a fit of anger, she smashed her phone to the side, shattering the screen.
Why, why do her parents and brothers care about her so much! They even post pictures of every dish she cooks on social media to show off! Yan Yinran buried herself under the covers and cried. I must stay here, I can't just watch Yan Xiluo take everything away from me!
