Yan Family
It was past nine o'clock, and the lobby was still empty. Yan Yinran assumed that Yan Youting and Li Shuwen had gone out, so she didn't call to ask.
He returned to his room dejectedly, threw his phone aside, and collapsed onto the bed.
She had planned to spend the day chatting with her parents to strengthen their bond, but when she woke up in the afternoon, she couldn't find them anywhere.
Just then, Ah Hui came in carrying a glass of milk.
"Miss Ranran, this is your favorite milk."
Ahui placed the milk on Yan Yinran's bedside table.
"Aunt Hui, do you know where Mom and Dad went?"
"Um... I heard that the master and mistress took Miss Luoluo back to the Li family today."
Ah Hui pretended to be hesitant and embarrassed as she spoke.
"What? Going back to the Li family? Why didn't you take me with you?!"
Are my parents so biased? They don't even want to take me with them when they go to my grandparents' house anymore?
Seeing that Yan Yinran was still asleep, Li Shuwen noticed Ah Hui coming upstairs and specifically told her that after Yan Yinran woke up, she said that Li Shuwen hadn't taken her along because she saw that Yan Yinran was tired and sleeping soundly. She told her to rest well and that they could go together next time. She had been to the Li family countless times since she was a child, but this was Yan Xiluo's first time, so she told her not to overthink it.

Yan Yinran had no doubt about Ahui's story. After all, when her parents were busy when she was little, Ahui was the one who took care of her. Her relationship with Ahui was deeper than that with her parents, and she believed everything Ahui said. She listened to everything Ahui taught her and did it accordingly.

That day, Li Shuwen gave the gift to Ahui and asked her to give it to Yan Yinran, saying it was a gift that Yan Xiluo had prepared for her. However, Ahui immediately packed up the gift that Yan Xiluo was giving to Yan Yinran and threw it into the storage room without handing it to Yan Yinran.

Seeing that she remained silent, Ahui continued speaking.

Ah Hui sighed helplessly and shook her head.

Yan Yinran said fiercely.
"It's getting late, so I'll take my leave now. Please call me if you need anything!"
Ahui was overjoyed to see Yan Yinran's anger; her words had worked, and now that she had achieved her goal, it was time for her to leave.
"Okay, Aunt Hui, you go and rest now, I'm going to sleep too."
Ahui left the room, closed the door, and sent a message to someone.
"I have done as you instructed."
Yan Yinran, after finishing her milk, lay on the bed in the room, so angry that she tossed and turned and couldn't fall asleep.
But Yan Xiluo had warned her before that if she wanted to stay in the Yan family, she shouldn't do anything underhanded and let her find out. For the sake of long-term planning, she could only swallow her anger and do nothing for the time being. In fact, she needed to please her and show her goodwill. It wouldn't be too late to crush her underfoot after she lowered her guard!
After an unknown amount of time, the person on the bed stopped making a sound and slowly fell asleep.
