They were all incredibly arrogant and cocky. If they didn't like someone, they would just curse and kick them.
Qi Xu carried the supply crate, his eyes quickly scanning his surroundings. Among the hundred players, most were sallow-faced and emaciated, with numb eyes. Only a few had suppressed anger in their eyes, but none dared to move under the man's whip.
Silently memorizing the appearance of those few people, Qi Xu and the others stood quietly behind the supply box, heads bowed, waiting for inspection.
After showing off his power enough, the traitorous dog with the pointed mouth and monkey cheeks lashed out at the sky with a whip, the whip whistling through the air.
"Now, everyone open the supply crates together. If I find anyone hiding anything from me, don't blame me for being ruthless. I'll lock them up and feed them to the dogs! Open the crates quickly, don't try to hide anything, I can see everything!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a series of rustling sounds of crates being opened rang out from the crowd. Occasionally, monsters would pop out of supply crates, but the traitors completely ignored them. Not only did they not offer any help, but they also pointed and laughed at the players who were struggling to cope.
Qi Xu's fingers rested on the box's latches, his movements neither fast nor slow, but his peripheral vision never left the players who were hiding their anger. One burly man with a scar on his face clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white as he opened the box. Qi Xu was not far from him, so he deliberately turned to the side and glanced at him imperceptibly.
He opened a golden supply crate. Inside was a golden battle axe and a card. He quickly flicked his wrist and hid the card in his sleeve. The battle axe remained safely in the crate; he didn't dare touch it. The reluctance in his eyes was almost tangible...
But there's no way around it; this golden battle axe is too conspicuous, and it's definitely not going to stay.
The unremarkable, somewhat elderly woman beside him pretended to lose her balance after being attacked by the monster in the supply crate, and accidentally fell behind the scarred man.
The two quickly completed the transfer of each prop card. Before the traitor could shout out, the woman bowed repeatedly in apology, tears streaming down her face, and hugged a child beside her, then gave the card to the child.
The boy was also very clever. He found a spot in their line of sight and, when the traitors weren't looking at him, he slipped the card into the back of his pants.
The series of movements was fluid and skillful, with four other players even helping to shield him from view.
Qi Xu's eyes lit up. Although these people didn't seem to be very strong overall, it was already quite remarkable that they dared to resist under such pressure.
Qi Xu was hesitant about whether to just kill all 10 traitors and show off their strength.
But just then, a bright yet slightly distorted voice rang out.
"Reporting to the team leader!"
"This...this man is hiding something in his pocket!"
A trembling, tall, thin player emerged from the crowd, pointing a sharp finger at the person next to him.
“I saw it clearly! He hid something in his pocket!”
The traitor with the pointed snout and monkey-like face widened his eyes instantly, his triangular eyes sweeping over the man's tightly clenched clothes. The whip cracked on the ground, sending pebbles flying: "So! You dare to play tricks under my nose? F*** search him!"
Two trusted henchmen immediately rushed forward, roughly grabbed the man's arm, and tried to rob him.
The man clutched his pocket tightly, twisting his body violently, tears mingling with sweat streaming down his face: "No! I didn't hide anything! Don't frame me!"
"Still dare to talk back?" The traitor grinned maliciously, tearing open the man's clothes, and a vial of medicine instantly fell out...
