Chapter 20 A Savage Kiss Chai Yundu seemed oblivious to the pain…
For the next month or so, Zhu Qingting and Tian Jiayou maintained regular contact. Every day they would share the progress of the choreography and the inspiration for the music through WeChat. They would meet up for a meal once or twice a week, and on their days off they would watch a movie or visit an art museum.
Tian Jiayou was always considerate, thoughtful, witty, and talkative. When she was with him, Zhu Qingting felt very comfortable and relaxed, never feeling pressured, without having to constantly be wary of hidden cameras or enthusiastic fans. They could stroll and chat freely in the sunshine, quietly appreciate paintings in the art museum—everything was so peaceful and serene.
She would occasionally stare out the window, lost in thought, and ask herself: Isn't this good? Starting a stable, transparent relationship with someone who is suitable in every way and easy to get along with—isn't this exactly what she had hoped for?
This Sunday, Qin Youyou wanted to ask Zhu Qingting to go shopping for summer clothes, but she learned that Zhu Qingting already had a date with Tian Jiayou.
While complaining that her best friend's days off were being taken up, she couldn't suppress her curiosity and simply took Zhu Qingting's phone to send a message to Tian Jiayou: "Senior, Youyou asked me to go shopping tomorrow. Would you mind if the three of us went together?"
Tian Jiayou replied quickly, his tone cheerful, "Of course I don't mind. It's my honor to be with your friends. You can choose the location; I'm fine with anything."
The three eventually arranged to meet in the Xuhui West Bund commercial district. Built along the Huangpu River, this area boasts modern and avant-garde architecture, numerous independent designer brand stores, and many exquisite restaurants. The riverside promenade offers expansive views, making it a fashionable landmark popular among young people.
As soon as they entered the mall, they sensed the unusual atmosphere of the day.
The atrium was packed with people, with numerous young girls holding banners and light sticks, completely blocking the passageway. Their faces were filled with excitement and anticipation. Security guards were trying to maintain order, but the crowd's enthusiasm was clearly difficult to contain.
"What's going on?" Qin Youyou looked around curiously.
A girl next to them excitedly told them, "It's Chai Yundu! The high-end watch he endorses is opening a new store here today, and he's coming to cut the ribbon later!"
Chaiyun Ferry...
The name suddenly entered her ears, and Zhu Qingting's heart skipped a beat. She glanced instinctively in the direction of the crowd, then looked away, saying calmly, "There are too many people. Let's go straight to the restaurant."
Now that she has decided to let go, all the excitement surrounding him is no longer relevant to her.
Qin Youyou had previously gotten to meet her crush in person thanks to Zhu Qingting, and they had even chatted on WeChat. She glanced at Zhu Qingting beside her, and then thought about how Zhu Qingting had finally started a new relationship. So she took Zhu Qingting's arm and walked towards the restaurant. "Right, right, it's not interesting to see anything in a crowded place. Let's go eat!"
Tian Jiayou had arrived at the restaurant early. He was dressed casually and appropriately as usual, and greeted Qin Youyou in a generous and graceful manner. His words and actions were humble and polite, leaving Qin Youyou with a very good first impression.
Lunch proceeded in a pleasant atmosphere. Tian Jiayou was adept at keeping the conversation flowing, chatting with Zhu Qingting about the fusion of dance and music, as well as with Qin Youyou about current trends and celebrities. Everyone enjoyed the meal.
After lunch, Zhu Qingting went to the restroom to touch up her makeup. The mall's restroom was in a relatively quiet corner, requiring her to walk through a short corridor.
She was almost at the entrance to the women's restroom when the door to the men's restroom next to it was pushed open, and a tall figure wearing a mask walked out.
The two bumped into each other in the not-so-spacious corridor.
The air seemed to freeze instantly.
Even with a mask on, Zhu Qingting recognized Chai Yundu at a glance.
He must have just come out from backstage at an event. He was only wearing a white shirt, no tie, and the top two buttons of his shirt were casually undone. His face was relaxed, but he still couldn't hide his dazzling star aura.
He clearly hadn't expected to run into her here. He stopped in his tracks, his gaze fixed on her face, a complex mix of emotions swirling within him.
There was no escaping it. Zhu Qingting suppressed the surging emotions in her heart, tried her best to make her expression look natural, and spoke first, "...Long time no see."
Chai Yundu looked at her, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly, and his deep voice echoed in the quiet corridor, "Long time no see."
Just then, the excited voices of two young girls approached from afar, enthusiastically discussing the photos of Chai Yundu they had just taken.
Chai Yundu's eyes sharpened, his reaction was astonishingly quick.
He grabbed Zhu Qingting's wrist and quickly pulled her into the cleaning room next door. With a soft click, the door lock closed behind him.
Zhu Qingting's back gently bumped against the cold wall. Before the shock could fully surface, Chai Yundu's burning hot body was already close by.
His arms braced against the wall beside her ears, forming an inescapable circle of confinement. He gazed intently at her, his eyes filled with an intense longing, a pain he had deliberately suppressed, and a near-desperate yearning.
"Why..." His deep, husky voice echoed in the enclosed space, carrying a dangerous undertone, "Why didn't you give me a chance?"
Zhu Qingting's heart pounded wildly, almost bursting out of her chest. She tried to push him away, but he gripped her wrist tightly as if he had anticipated her move, pinning it to her side. His fingertips were burning hot, pressed against the sensitive skin of her wrist.
Before she could answer, or rather, Chai Yundu didn't need an answer at all.
He suddenly leaned down, with a do-or-die determination, and fiercely captured her lips.
Unlike the gentle probing of the past, it was a plundering and devouring like a desert traveler finding a spring of water, and a forceful crushing with a sense of punishment.
The moment their lips touched, a jolt of electricity coursed through Zhu Qingting's body. Her eyes widened in terror, and she futilely twisted her head to try and escape, a sob escaping her throat.
Chai Yundu pulled her hands above her head and intertwined them, using one hand to firmly control her while the other free hand supported the back of her head, fixing her dodging movements.
His tongue deftly and forcefully pried open her tightly clenched teeth. The tip of his tongue, with undeniable power, plunged in, instantly overwhelming all her senses.
His own breathtaking masculine hormones, like the strongest liquor, instantly overwhelmed her.
Gradually, the kiss deepened and became more tender. He was no longer merely taking, but began to savor every inch of her softness.
His tongue swept across her palate, eliciting a slight tremor in her; then it entwined with her tongue, which was trying to retreat, forcing her to dance with it. Between their intertwined lips and teeth, a torrent of emotions that had been suppressed for too long surged forth, a burning passion of longing and resentment.
Zhu Qingting's initial resistance gradually crumbled under his overwhelming presence and kisses that were sometimes rough and sometimes seductive.
The force of the push gradually disappeared, and the tense body involuntarily went limp, as if all the strength had been drained away. The clenched fists unconsciously loosened, becoming soft and powerless.
Sensing her softening, Chai Yundu let out a satisfied groan from deep in his throat. He released his grip on her wrist, leaving faint red marks on Zhu Qingting's fair skin.
His free hand immediately slid down to her back, tightened sharply, and pressed her closer to him, the two embracing tightly.
Through the thin fabric, she could clearly feel the violent heaving of his chest and his burning body temperature.
The air seemed to have become thin and scalding hot.
Zhu Qingting's consciousness began to blur, as if she were floating on clouds or drowning in the deep sea.
She involuntarily began to respond awkwardly and tentatively. This subtle response was like pouring oil on Chai Yundu's burning rationality.
His kisses became wilder and deeper, with a fierce desire to devour her whole, yet in the midst of their tender care, a deep-seated tenderness and pain were revealed.
Just as Zhu Qingting was almost completely lost in the kiss, which was a mixture of the smell of rust and deep emotions, her cell phone in her bag started vibrating untimely and persistently, making a buzzing sound like an alarm bell tolling on the edge of chaos.
Zhu Qingting jolted awake, her unfocused gaze instantly sharpening as she met a pair of deep eyes so close to hers. The turbulent emotions within them sent a chill down her spine. Shame and reason returned in an instant.
What is she doing?!
She began to push against his firm chest, but her strength was like an ant trying to shake a tree to Chai Yundu at that moment.
Her struggles only provoked a stronger reaction from him; his kisses became even more ferocious, like a storm.
In desperation, Zhu Qingting bit down hard on his lower lip, and the taste of blood immediately filled the air.
But Chai Yundu seemed oblivious to the pain, stubbornly continuing the bloodstained kiss with a touch of self-destructive pleasure, until she bit down hard again, at which point he finally withdrew slowly and reluctantly.
Their foreheads touched, and they were breathing heavily.
He gazed at her, her cheeks flushed like the sunset, her eyes moist and dreamy, her lips swollen and red, her whole being as beautiful as a crabapple blossoming after the rain.
As for himself, bright red blood was seeping from the teeth marks on his lower lip, intertwining with his slightly panting and deep-set eyes, forming a contradictory combination of extreme vulnerability and extreme sensuality, dangerous yet alluring, enough to make any woman's heart race.
Zhu Qingting didn't want to stay a second longer, nor did she want to say another word to this "barbarian".
She reached out and unlocked the door, hastily pulling it open a crack. After confirming that no one was outside, she rushed out like a startled deer and fled straight into the women's restroom across the street.
Looking in the mirror, she saw her swollen lips and quickly took out her brightest Dior 999 lipstick to cover them. She then carefully dabbed away the moisture from the corners of her eyes with a tissue, afraid that staying outside too long would arouse suspicion from Tian Jiayou and Qin Youyou.
As she hurried through the corridor, Chai Yundu, wearing a mask, watched her retreating figure.
At the end of the corridor, he clearly saw Qin Youyou waving to Zhu Qingting, and standing next to her was the strange man who had taken her home that night and gone upstairs with her.
He closed his eyes, suppressing his surging emotions, and quietly left through the employee passage.
