Chapter 454: Loki and Wozrud (Part 1)
Fina came to Northrend and brought the news of Iori's discovery. Richard also learned that Loki was turned into an undead by Arthas.
"Fina, what are you doing?"
After returning to the room of the Undead Inn, Fina knelt on the ground as soon as she closed the door.
"You are a great ancient god. I beg you to help Lord Loki get rid of his guilt... I am willing to exchange everything I have for this opportunity."
"Everything you have?"
"Yes, including my body and soul."
Richard looked at her calmly and asked, "Is it worth it?"
Fina nodded without hesitation: "From the moment I was sent to their house, I was branded with the mark of their family. I have been taking care of him since he was born. I have always regarded him as my younger brother. Seeing him like this now, my heart is broken..."
"He is lucky to have a 'sister' like you."
Fina's eyes lit up. Richard's words meant he agreed!
"But..." Richard changed the subject, and Fina's heart was lifted again. Richard continued, "I need to know whether Loki wants to get rid of this identity of the undead."
"I am willing to understand his true intention."
Richard looked at Fina's determined eyes, and finally nodded: "Be careful, I will let Valeera cooperate with your actions."
And Loki is now at the foot of a mountain, conscientiously guarding for Arthas. Arthas was waiting patiently on the top of the green hill. Arthas knew that since Kel'Thuzad said so to him, he would definitely show up.
Kel'Thuzad is loyal to the Lich King. Even if he begs for mercy in front of Archimonde and Tichondrius, it is because of the secrecy of the operation. Arthas chose silence. He did not believe he could lie as calmly as Kel'Thuzad. The two demons thought Arthas and Kel'Thuzad were nobody, but they would soon find out how wrong they were. They were attracted to the Well of Eternity and left the Book of Medivh in the skeletal hands of the lich. The spells and magic that Kel'Thuzad had learned in just a few days were so powerful that the future was unimaginable, and Arthas knew that he would never be able to understand it with his own magical knowledge.
"The third part of the plan," Kel'Thuzad didn't let Arthas wait for long, and said directly, his tone was very casual, as if he was just asking you if you had eaten when they met by chance, "which is the real core of the Legion invasion."
Arthas remembered what Kel'Thuzad had said before. The first step is to create a natural disaster, and then to summon Archimonde. He now has a strong interest in Kel'Thuzad's words. Kel'Thuzad continued, "The Burning Legion came to this world with the sole purpose of seizing all magic and devouring all life. They always planned to drain the powerful energy contained in the Well of Eternity, which belonged to the elves. To do this, they must destroy the thing that contains the most original and pure essence of life on Azeroth. As the succubus named Ive said, the Well of Eternity is located on the continent of Kalimdor across the ocean. And the thing that hinders the Legion's plan is called Nordrassil, a world tree. It makes the kaldorei immortal, and they are also connected to it."
"Kaldorei?" Arthas was confused. "I know Quel'dorei. It's the name of high elves. Are they another kind of elves?"
"They are native species. As far as I know, high elves are all separated from these Kaldorei." Kel'Thuzad corrected him. He waved his hand nonchalantly. "Don't worry about these details. The key is that we must stop the Legion from getting what it wants, and there is someone among the Kaldorei who will help us."
"Who is it?"
"I can't tell you now. I will tell you when the time is right. Now we need to get rid of those guys guarding us?"
Arthas recalled for a moment, a ferocious smile appeared on the corner of his mouth: "You mean those fear lords?" There are not only Mal'Ganis and Tichondrius, but also several fear lords in the wasteland of Lordaeron. Their mission is the same, to monitor whether the Scourge Legion is acting according to the will of the Burning Legion.
"Hehehe...that's them."
Arthas licked his lips and said to Kel'Thuzad, "Leave them to me, Frostmourne will like their souls very much."
"No, no, no." Kel'Thuzad suddenly shook his fingers and said, "Now is not the time. The Burning Legion just left not long ago. If we take action now, they will most likely turn their guns against us. We have to wait until we fight them in Kalimdor. By then, they will have no time to take care of us."
"That makes sense. Then I'll go to Lordaeron. Leave the few terror lords there to me, and Tichondrius and Loki to you."
"Loki?"
"Yes, this guy has two souls. Turning him into an undead is my most successful work after obtaining Frostmourne. But this guy with two souls is not content. So I can't take him to Lordaeron."
Kel'Thuzad understood Arthas's concerns and nodded in response to his request: "Then leave it to me. I will help you keep an eye on him. We only have one hand-dead Tichondrius here. He is not a big deal. Maybe he will be destroyed by humans without us taking action."
"Haha, that's true. We can't take down Alterac together. How can we rely on him? It's impossible." Arthas left here and took some of the undead to Lordaeron. Kel'Thuzad stretched his neck and went down the mountain.
"Loki, from now on, you follow me."
"Yes, Lord Kel'Thuzad." Loki saluted respectfully, without asking why, and followed Kel'Thuzad very obediently.
Kel'Thuzad didn't pay much attention to him. After setting up camp in the south, he went back to study the Book of Medivh. Loki had nothing to do and walked around the camp casually. He didn't plan to go out either. The soldiers at the head post not only had the responsibility to guard against the invasion of the Alliance, but also their buddies who joined later.
"Hey, do you want to go down like this?" Another soul in Loki's body, Wozrud, suddenly called Loki in his mind. Wozrud and Loki are of the same origin. They are actually two sides of the same body. Loki represents order, while Wozrud represents chaos. This is also the reason why his parents sealed his offensive side to protect him. The key to combining the two souls is the heart of Yggdrasil, but the key is missing and Wozrud's true power cannot be unlocked.
