Chapter 100: Sin City 2

Bai Xing frowned and dodged Lei, trying to grab her hand. Lei chuckled awkwardly, "Why did you leave so suddenly?"

"If I don't leave now, my family will worry." Bai Xing continued with the explanation he had given before without changing her expression.

Although Lei was smiling, he refused to let Bai Xing leave.

Bai Xing felt a little annoyed and was about to take action when a shout suddenly came from behind her: "What are you doing!"

When Lei heard the voice, he froze and his face instantly fell.

Bai Xing turned around and found that the people coming were a few thugs who looked very tough to deal with.

The man in the lead was the one who had just scolded Lei. When he saw Lei surrounding a little girl in the middle of the night, he knew that he was up to no good.

Most likely, the girl is pretty and he just hasn't gotten her yet, so she's clinging to him at the door.

Bai Xing raised her eyebrows and looked at the man: "Who are you?"

"Ha, beautiful lady, you are new here, right? You don't even know our Brother Owen?" One of the gangsters said with a smile.

Just as the leader, known as Brother Owen, was about to speak, Lei spoke first, "This is between me and her. Don't interfere."

"Brother Lei, this won't do. It's the middle of the night, and it's not nice for a young girl to be pestered by you like this." Owen smiled wryly, but his fierce eyes clearly suggested that Lei should get out of here quickly.

Lei felt a little embarrassed, but he didn't want to give up Bai Xing. For a moment, he didn't know what to do.

Bai Xing looked at his expression and suddenly smiled: "Are you better than him?"

"Haha, the little girl is really good at talking. Isn't it obvious?" The man laughed.

"A little sister of mine is missing. Can you help me find her?" Bai Xing blinked.

Owen had just made a promise, and now he just wanted him to help find someone, so naturally he agreed.

"No problem, I'll definitely help you!"

Owen looked at Lei with disdain and said in a sarcastic tone, "Lei, why don't you leave? I'm closing the shop!"

Lei knew it was boring to stay any longer, so he glared at Bai Xing fiercely: "Just wait!"

"Heh." Bai Xing sneered speechlessly and watched him leave.

Seeing this, the thug raised his eyebrows and said, "Beauty, you've found the right person to ask our Brother Owen for help. You may not know that there is nothing here that our Brother Owen can't do!"

"Really?" Bai Xing smiled politely, not really caring.

At Owen's warm invitation, Bai Xing returned to the bar again, but this time in a booth on the second floor. It can be seen that Owen has a higher social status than Lei.

Bai Xing explained Lin Yumeng's name, clothes, appearance, etc. to the group of thugs. Owen naturally agreed and immediately asked someone to go find her.

Bai Xing was waiting in the booth and dealing with Owen at the same time.

Owen talked a lot and kept telling Bai Xing about his previous "heroic deeds".

Although in Bai Xing's view it was just a fight between gangsters.

Bai Xing dealt with it in a casual manner. Owen was not angry at all and felt that she was very serious.

About two hours later, the gang came back, but they all looked unhappy.

"Where are the people?" Bai Xing asked.

"Sorry, we looked in many places but couldn't find your little sister." Owen looked a little unhappy after listening to his subordinates' whispered report. He paused for a moment before telling Bai Xing the result.

Bai Xing frowned: "Then do you know where she might go?"

Owen shook his head. "We've searched all over this area, but we can't find it."

Bai Xing pondered for a moment, then nodded: "Okay, I understand. Thank you. I'll be leaving now."

Owen waved his hand: "It's okay, go find your friend first." After that, he took his men away.

Bai Xing looked at their backs as they left, her eyes full of contemplation.

Why did Irving run so fast after listening to the report from his subordinates?

At this moment, she had a hunch that this matter was definitely not simple.

She stood up and followed Owen from a distance, a block away, with remote perception covering them.

Owen also had a strong anti-detection awareness and kept looking around to see if anyone was following him. Unfortunately, Bai Xing's tracking method was very tricky, so it was naturally impossible for him to spot Bai Xing who was a block away.

They walked further and further away, and finally arrived at what seemed to be an abandoned factory with many tables and chairs, as well as some other thugs.

At this time, the other thugs inside came forward.

"The boss asked us to wait for you here. Is this the guy you met who was trying to find out about that woman?" said the leading gangster bluntly.

Owen nodded quickly.

I was secretly shocked. How could the news spread so quickly?

He just found out that the person Bai Xing was investigating was the woman locked up by the boss, so he left quickly for fear of getting into trouble.

The leading thug had a grim expression on his face: "Where's that guy? Did you bring him back?"

Irving froze, obviously realizing what had happened.

The thug understood immediately after seeing his expression. He flew into a rage and kicked him viciously: "Waste!"

Irving was kicked to the ground, but he didn't dare to get angry. He could only smile and apologize.

Bai Xing came to the outside of the factory quietly, dressed in black, blending perfectly into the night.

The gang of hooligans discussed with each other for a while, but finally had to go back empty-handed to report to the boss.

They walked towards the inside of the factory. Bai Xing concentrated and followed quietly along the outside.

She didn't make a sound and her footsteps were as light as a cat's.

"Didn't you catch the person?" Their boss angrily threw the cup at hand. The gangsters dodged it quickly, with helpless looks on their faces.
